Successful innovation is a key to business growth. In the realm of technological development, innovation processes have been transformed into various forms, like open innovation, crowdsourcing innovation, or collaborative innovation. This research would like to focus on open innovation processes to reach out to the common stakeholders in the entrepreneurship system through small and medium enterprises. It has been observed that to provide innovative services or products to the outer periphery of the customer chain, SMEs play an important role. Hence, focusing innovation for SMEs would lead to a newer dimension of innovation research for better business and economic growth. It could be applied to both ways in terms of value gain to the participants. This applies to all sorts of entrepreneurships, though often corporate business houses seem to be the most beneficiaries of innovation researches. This research will emphasize open innovation for SMEs at the outset by focusing transformation of innovation leading to a networked paradigm in spite of being in closed periphery, and try to provide some overview on innovation strategies, including various challenges.

Difficulties in terms of capital make the company still survive with conventional and manual technology, so that production capacity is also relatively limited. In addition, the company's bookkeeping system is still directly controlled by the owner of the company. 2) Shoe MSMEs need guidance in terms of production processes and production facilities. As well as assistance in terms of developing market share both domestically and abroad and developing promotions so that products are more widely known

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role to support the economy in Indonesia and to enhance the era of the ASEAN free market community (MEA). MSMEs have been spread in almost every region in Indonesia, but MSMEs have been prevented from promoting their business results to the wider community because of promotions that are still carried out by word of mouth, with the existence of e-commerce as a technological development can help this problem. .
The growth of the Islamic economy is currently growing rapidly. This can be seen from the number of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that adopt the principles of Islamic business. Sharia MSME is a means of creating jobs and encouraging economic progresses, and advancing private sector businesses. The emergence of many new entrepreneurs who adopted the sharia system in Aceh becomes a great opportunity as a center for sharia products. Not only sharia products, Sharia MSMEs more broadly include the application of the Islamic financial system, including culture, entertainment, lifestyle, and tourism. The need for Aceh's flagship products wrapped in nuances of Islamic principles is still very limited in Aceh. It becomes an obstacle to make Aceh as a tourist destination with Islamic principles. The number of embroidery craftsmen is still less compared to the number of requests. This condition is based on the work that is still traditional and has not used a computerized machine yet. The limitations of human resource capabilities often become obstacles for using technology, production processes, and business development. The increase in sharia tourism will have a positive impact on the improvement of sharia MSMEs. This can be seen from the level of creativity, knowledge, and marketing according to tourist demand. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a significant influence of creativity, knowledge, and marketing to the improvement of Islamic MSMEs. This research has been conducted with questionnaires for the entrepreneurs’ MSMEs of embroidery products in Aceh. The results of this study indicate that createvity, knowledge, and marketing simultaneously influence the improvement of sharia MSMEs. Partially, creativity and knowledge variables do not influence the improvement of sharia MSMEs, while marketing affects the improvement of sharia MSMEs significantly.

Despite the fact that small and medium enterprises have been viewed as a major promoter of technological development and employment generation in Nigeria, the sector has been neglected by successive governments (Gideon, 2015). This has resulted in unpalatable consequences on the economy (Gideon, 2015). The major challenge of the sector is poor funding (Afolabi & Ehinomen, 2015). Consequently, policies and efforts should be geared towards accelerating the growth and development of the sector (Afolabi & Ehinomen, 2015). According to Onwumere, (2000) a lack of funding has been a specific obstacle to investment and growth in the sector. The need to contribute to the current debate, update knowledge on the subject matter and make informed recommendations when implemented will lead to a change in fortune for the small and medium enterprise sector in the Nigerian economy which has informed this study. The chapter sets out to explore the qualitative relationship between small and medium enterprises and banks. Developed countries in general are the countries that have many entrepreneurs because they can create jobs, reduce unemployment and contribute to state revenue. Technological development has a correlation with lifestyle and behavior. The internet is not only used to access information, but is also used for business facilities and buying and selling transactions. Currently conventional marketing is less than optimal. Therefore, entrepreneurs are directed to utilize information technology or commonly called commercial electronics as a medium of promotion and sale. This has become a huge opportunity for students or alumni of computer science such as STMIK Kaputama students and alumni. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in many regions are successful in terms of production, but they have problems in terms of marketing and sales. The solution provided is making entrepreneurship training by providing various life skills and adding insight into entrepreneurship, e-commerce training, graphic design training, mentoring and supervision. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are organized through people's creativity in developing human and natural resources. However, investment challenges often affect their implementation and production processes, necessitating solutions, such as capital loans from banks and other entities. Crowdfunding is an online loaning service that provides easily accessible loans to SME startups, though a warrant to protect creditors from losing money to ingenuine people is necessary. Therefore, this study examines the appropriateness of a fiduciary warrant as a SMEs collateral object. When fiduciary is used as a loan warrant, debtors are allowed to use collateral objects in their production processes. To make a fiduciary warrant effective, legal protection is required. This study used juridical-normative that relied on legal norms in legislation and court verdicts dealing with societal organizational issues. Competitiveness of national economies depends in great part on technological development and implementation of knowledge from science and research in practice. The phenomenon of cooperation represents an integral part of these processes. While its bounded forms, like mergers and acquisitions are relatively embedded in the Czech Republic, the advantages of less formal partnerships have been gradually discovered just recently. In the paper we focus on a special type of cooperation called networks. In order to get an initial overview, we introduce some of the basic definitions, as the specialized literature lacks single explanation and categorization. Within the framework of our research we have focused on such purposeful connections of small and medium enterprises that bring benefits for both sides and lead to the growth of competitiveness. The aim of the article is to investigate the prerequisites of interfirm network operation in the South Moravian Region. The first part of the paper introduces network cooperation, especially the motives standing behind network set-up, the typology of networks and the role of networks at regional level. Then we briefly describe the South Moravian region, where our investigation has been made. We focus especially on the demonstration of the most powerful and perspective economic branches in which we consider networks very important. This base is further extended by the information received in the South Moravian Innovation Centre, an interest association of legal persons having experience especially in research institution – company cooperation. The operation of a partnership network is analyzed on the case of DC Concept, a. s., a company from Brno producing and developing information system for middle and large companies. We introduce the six types of their partners, the system how the network works and the motives lying behind. The paper is based on the information gained during the pre-research which falls within the scope of doctoral dissertation research focusing on network creation of small and medium enterprises in a certain region.
