In recent years, many countries have provided promotion policies related to renewable energy in order to take advantage of the environmental factors of sufficient sunlight. However, the application of solar energy in the power grid also has disadvantages. The most obvious is the variability of power output, which will put pressure on the system. As more grid reserves are needed to compensate for fluctuations in power output, the variable nature of solar power may hinder further deployment. Besides, one of the main issues surrounding solar energy is the variability and unpredictability of sunlight. If it is cloudy or covered by clouds during the day, the photovoltaic cell cannot produce satisfactory electricity. How to collect relevant factors (variables) and data to make predictions so that the solar system can increase the power generation of solar power plants is an important topic that every solar supplier is constantly thinking about. The view is taken, therefore, in this work, we utilized the historical monitoring data collected by the ground-connected solar power plants to predict the power generation, using daily characteristics (24 h) to replace the usual seasonal characteristics (365 days) as the experimental basis. Further, we implemented daily numerical prediction of the whole-point power generation. The preliminary experimental evaluations demonstrate that our developed method is sensible, allowing for exploring the performance of solar power prediction.

This article will briefly identify the variable nature of muscle tension dysphonia (MTD). Causes such as psychogenicity and maladaptive “vocal posture” will be described and questioned. Special Interest Group (SIG) 3 members may benefit from identification of the strengths and weaknesses of an ongoing movement towards a symptomatically generic “MTD.” More specific subtyping of MTD into 9 categories will be proposed, as well as description of associated therapy methods. Increased patient awareness that some subtypes may be self-correctable could simplify intervention, increase compliance, and improve clinician and researcher effectiveness.

The integration of renewable energy sources (RES) was amplified, during the past decades, in order to tackle the challenges related to energy demands and CO2 increases. Recently, many initiatives have been taken by promoting the deployment and the usage of micro-grids (MG) in buildings, as decentralized systems, for energy production. However, the variable nature of RESs and the limited size of energy storage systems require the deployment of adaptive control strategies for efficient energy balance. In this paper, a generalized predictive control (GPC) strategy is introduced for energy management (EM) in MG systems. Its main objective is to efficiently connect the electricity generators and consumers in order to predict the most suitable actions for energy flow management. In fact, based on energy production and consumption profiles as well as the availability of energy storage systems, the proposed EM will be able to select the best suitable energy source for supplying the building’s loads. It will efficiently manage the usage of energy storage and the utility grid while maximizing RESs power generation. Simulations have been conducted, using real-sitting scenarios, and results are presented to validate the proposed predictive control approach by showing its effectiveness for MG systems control.

The hydraulic drive of a construction machine is a complex dynamic system that is subjected to many dynamic loads of a variable nature and operates under conditions of variable external influences caused by various factors. During operation, these loads cause failure of the hydraulic transmission elements. To prevent these malfunctions, technical diagnostics should be applied by determining their current technical condition and remaining service life. The article assesses the working condition of hydraulic cylinders using a mathematical model. Using matlab/simulink software to simulate the hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic piston speed when changing the hydraulic cylinder clearance. The simulation results are presented. The variable nature of the thermal conductivity of nanofluid with respect to temperature plays an important role in many engineering and industrial applications including solar collectors and thermoelectricity. Thus, the foremost motivation of this article is to investigate the effects of thermal conductivity and electric conductivity due to variable temperature on the flow of Williamson nanofluid. The flow is considered between two stretchable rotating disks. The mathematical modeling and analysis have been made in the presence of magnetohydrodynamic and thermal radiation. The governing differential equations of the problem are transformed into non-dimensional differential equations by using similarity transformations. The transformed differential equations are thus solved by a finite difference method. The behaviors of velocity, temperature and concentration profiles due to various parameters are discussed. For magnetic parameter, the radial and tangential velocities have showed decreasing behavior, while converse behavior is observed for axial velocity. The temperature profile shows increasing behavior due to an increase in the Weissenberg number, heat generation parameter and Eckert number, while it declines by increasing electric conductivity parameter. The nanoparticle concentration profile declines due to an increase in the Lewis number and Reynolds number.

A hot sand model has been developed to predict the rebounding and sticking behavior of environmental particulates in the hot section of a gas turbine. This paper will focus on the sticking part of the model with rebounding effects to be discussed in a future paper. The key element of the model is determining the probability of the particle sticking to the surface when it comes into contact. Recent studies have suggested this sticking probability is a function of temperature, particle size, normal and tangential velocities of the impacting particle. Previous studies have predicted the sticking probability using theories for mechanical properties of the particles. These methods rely on idealized particle shapes and compositions which does not match the variable nature of sand in the environment. The current model attempts to take this randomness into account and ensure prediction accuracy by matching the model to results of a series of controlled coupon tests. The framework for the modeling approach and validation results of the developed predictive model are both presented.

Sampel penilitian sebanyak 88 laporan keuangan dengan metode penarikan sample secara purposive sampling. Regresi logistik  sebagai analisis data . Hasil penelitian   hanya variable  Nature of Industry yang mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kecurangan laporan keuangan. Organizational Structure,Ineffective Monitoring.Organizational Structure, Ineffective Monitoring, Rationalization  tidak berpengaruh  terhadap kecurangan laporan keuangan.

Introduction  Tuberculosis can involve any organ or site. Otorhinolaryngologist may encounter tuberculosis affecting lymph nodes, ear, larynx, deep neck spaces, salivary glands etc. which can mimic other chronic granulomatous conditions or malignancy. To ensure early diagnosis, it is important to recognize its cardinal signs and symptoms and to be aware of potential pitfalls in diagnosis. This study was done to learn the clinical presentation of tuberculosis in ear, nose, throat and head and neck region, and to assess the effectiveness of various investigations and treatment done for the same. Materials and Methods  A retrospective study done in our institution involving 120 patients suffering from tuberculosis in ear, nose, throat and head and neck region who attended pulmonary medicine or ENT OPD or ward between January 2008 to December 2017 that is, 10 years. Study period for data collection and analysis was 1 month. Results Total 120 patients-69 males and 51 females. Most common site was cervical lymph nodes(77.5% patients), followed by larynx(8.3%),middle ear(7.5%),deep neck spaces(2.5%) and salivary glands and nose(1.7% each). Histopathology was highly sensitive(99. 1%).All except one patient responded to first-line antitubercular drugs, the other patient was given treatment for MDR-TB to which he responded. Conclusion Tuberculosis can involve any site in the head and neck region, most common being cervical lymph nodes mainly presenting as neck swelling. Variable nature of manifestations of tuberculosis makes it essential to have high degree of suspicion for early diagnosis.
