The modern apprenticeship system is considered the most effective educational form to implement the training mode of school-enterprise cooperation and work-study combination. In 2015, 2017, and 2018, the Ministry of Education established three modern apprenticeship pilot unit batches. Chongqing Aerospace Vocational and Technical College is the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot institutions of the Ministry of Education. Chongqing Aerospace Vocational and Technical College has made practical explorations in five aspects, such as the integration of enrollment and recruitment, the construction of the standard system, the construction of teaching resources, the reform of personnel training mode and the construction of management mechanism, and shared four pilot experiences: careful selection of pilot majors, careful selection of pilot enterprises, grasping the essential characteristics of modern apprenticeship and meeting the connotation requirements of modern apprenticeship in essential teaching documents.

The main objective of this paper is to present a method to analyze the motivational policy based on a gender perspective. To do this, we carry out the study of the motivating factors with the greatest presence in the company and the individual analysis of each one of them. We continue with their assessment based on the importance they have for each worker in their job position, using an adequacy coefficient as a measurement tool, comparing this assessment with the ideal of the company. We continue to show different results depending on the level of assessment of the motivational factors and comparing the answers according to the age, gender, etc., of the employees. From the analysis we observe that there are differences in the selection of factors and in the valuation of some of the choosen factors according to the gender of the employees. We conclude by presenting the implications that these results have for business management, highlighting the applicability of the method to any organization by using ad hoc designs.

This article provides additional information about moviegoers. It aims to define, through a correctly applied methodology, the motivational factors (internal, external or experiential) that determine the choice of one film over another. The analysis of these factors has been able to establish those that have a greater or lesser effect on the consumer’s decision-making process. This can be of great significance in terms of the economic impact that this decision has on the final box office revenue of a movie. Likewise, the applied methodology has allowed us to establish, with a discriminant and predictive nature, the different typologies of Spanish moviegoers. It was possible to clearly differentiate two groups, which we have called Actors and Directors, whose decision-making process is significantly different, according to the factors that motivate their process of selection of the movie they decide to watch. Actor consumers make decisions from a simpler perspective, while Director consumers decide from a much more complex perspective, taking into consideration a large number of variables.

The Work Based Learning (WBL) pilot stands on a Locally Developed Curriculum elaborated within a partnership consisting of an Educational Institution (Technical high school), Economic operator (Footwear company) and a Public institution (University) and serves as a good apprenticeship model for both, VET providers and footwear companies. The goal of this study is to describes the apprenticeship experience and the stages of implementing WBL in Romanian footwear company, namely: selection of apprentices, WBL pilot planning, tutors training on WBL, WBL pilot implementation, and formative quality assurance. WBL pilot programme in Romania was applied at Papucei footwear company and involved three young apprentices from “Ion Holban” Technical College of Iasi with background in Textile and Clothing field. During one year, according to the developed WBL pilot program and guided by previously trained tutors from Papucei and TUIASI, the apprentices followed all the Core Spheres (Cutting, Pre-stitching, Stitching, Pre-lasting, Lasting, Assembly and Finishing) and Peripheral Spheres (Technical Development, Production planning, design and Quality Assurance) specific to industrial footwear manufacturing. The apprentices' achievements were evaluated by the responsible tutors using the special designed Matrices found in the Manuals developed by ICSAS to support tutors involved in WBL process. The entire apprenticeship experience was then investigated and evaluated by relevant stakeholders using SWOT analysis to highlight the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

This study identified the practical skills possessed and skills required by furniture construction teachers in Zamfara and Katsina State, Nigeria. Three research questions that sort to determine the skills needs of furniture construction teachers were answered and one hypothesis was tested at 0.05 level of significance. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The population for the study was 42 teachers. A structured questionnaire was used to gather data from the 42 woodwork furniture construction teachers. The instrument had a reliability coefficient of 0.89 using Cronbach Alpa statistic.  Mean and standard deviation was used to answer research questions and a t-test was used to test the hypothesis using the IBM SPSS version 20. The findings of the study revealed that the respondents require skills on the ability to hold a saw with fore-finger straight out on one side of the handle, the ability to follow the “FEWTEL” method in preparing a piece of wood require further training, setting sliding bevel when marking out dovetail joint and selection of the right adhesive according to the purpose and type of wood as well as amount of force the adhesive would be subjected to required skills. It was recommended that; government should provide opportunities for furniture construction teachers to go on further training on the modern furniture construction technology required. The identified skills required by teachers of furniture construction should form the basis for the up-skill workshop to be organized as in-house training.

Communication research has not fully come to grips with the important role of receiver control over message content and treatment within a communication event. The assumption seems to be that source success depends upon source credibility, selection of the right channel, and use of certain cognitive approaches. However, receiver motivational factors predispose the receiver to respond in a particular manner to a particular message. If the source hopes to elicit a specifically desired response, he must fashion his message content and treatment so as to identify with receiver motivational predispositions within the particular communication event.
