The accumulator can store the energy in high capacity, and the super capacitor can charge and discharge in high power. The mixed power source composed by the accumulator and super capacitor not only has the characteristics for both of them but also meets the high-power requirement of high capacity and peak value. How to perform the equalizing charging for multiple power packs is a emphasis in the industry currently. On the basis of analysis for multiple equalizing charging methods, a new type of design scheme based on DC/DC and switch matrix is raised in this project, the thinking of intermittent charging mode is adopted and four BCAP0350 is served as the charging sample to perform the charging and discharging experiment as well as verify the composite charging design scheme is provided with the feasibility.

Dielectric elastomer is a kind of electroactive polymer material with optimal performance. As actuator material, dielectric elastomer has shown a good prospect. Based on studying the principle of electroactive polymer, a new type of cylindrical actuator was designed. Its 3-D figure and 2-D dimension drawing was finished by UG software. The animation simulation of the actuator was studied. The simulation results verified the feasibility of design scheme. Electroactive polymer will have broad application prospects in the field of actuator.

The paper considers a new type of dust-concentrator device. The scheme of this concentrator is presented. According to the design scheme of the concentrator, flows of particles of dusty air and changes in the velocities of the motion of air flows in it are considered. Based on this, the conclusion is made about the pressure in different sections of the concentrator.

Abstract Standing-up motion assistant machine is a new type of assistant device for the care and motion of the semi-disabled, which can replace the manual motion mode to a great extent and reduce the workload of the care-givers. After a detailed analysis of shortcomings of the structural design of the existing standing-up motion assistant machine in the practical application in elderly institutions, this paper proposes a design scheme and mechanical structure of the hanger. The optimized product is verified based on ergonomics theory. Results show that the design scheme and structure of the hanger of the motion assistant machine proposed in this paper can satisfy the requirements of occupant comfort on the premise of ensuring safety, as well as effectively expand the application of the standing-up motion assistant machine in elderly institutions of varied facility levels.

As a new type of bolt, the polycystic aeration bolt has a broad application prospect in soft soil area; however, its design and production are still in the stage of constant exploration and improvement. From the perspective of bolt material and engineering cost, the important components of the polycystic aeration bolt were analyzed by combination with the existing bolt models, and a new structural design scheme of a kind of polycystic aeration bolt which can be used in practical engineering was presented in this paper. Then, the stress and failure mode of this bolt were discussed, and the theoretical equation of the bearing capacity was derived by using the elastic-plastic theory. In addition, the assembly and fabrication technology of this bolt in practical foundation pit engineering was described in detail. Finally, the field pull-out test of the polycystic aeration bolt was carried out, and the test results were compared with those of the conventional grouting bolt, which indicated that this new bolt has a greater advantage in bearing capacity than the conventional grouting bolt, verifying the feasibility of the structural design scheme of the polycystic aeration bolt proposed in this paper.

A new type of synthetic industrial diamond formed by an explosive shock process has been recently developed by the Du Pont Company. This material consists of a mixture of two basically different forms, as shown in Figure 1: relatively flat and compact aggregates of acicular crystallites, and single crystals in the form of irregular polyhedra with straight edges.Figure 2 is a high magnification micrograph typical for the fibrous aggregates; it shows that they are composed of bundles of crystallites 0.05-0.3 μ long and 0.02 μ. wide. The selected area diffraction diagram (insert in Figure 2) consists of a weak polycrystalline ring pattern and a strong texture pattern with arc reflections. The latter results from crystals having preferred orientation, which shows that in a given particle most fibrils have a similar orientation.

I. IntroductionThermionic electron gun with the Wehnelt grid is popularly used in the electron microscopy and electron beam micro-fabrication. It is well known that this gun could get the ideal brightness caluculated from the Lengumier and Richardson equations under the optimum condition. However, the design and ajustment to the optimum condition is not so easy. The gun has following properties with respect to the Wehnelt bias; (1) The maximum brightness is got only in the optimum bias. (2) In the larger bias than the optimum, the brightness decreases with increasing the bias voltage on account of the space charge effect. (3) In the smaller bias than the optimum, the brightness decreases with bias voltage on account of spreading of the cross over spot due to the aberrations of the electrostatic immersion lens.In the present experiment, a new type electron gun with the electrostatic and electromagnetic lens is designed, and its properties are examined experimentally.
