Introduction: The Moyers’ probability tables are used in mixed dentition analysis to estimate the extent of space required for the alignment of canines and premolars, by correlating the mesiodistal size of lower incisors with the size of permanent canines and premolars. Objective: This study intended to evaluate the applicability of the Moyer's probability tables for predicting the mesiodistal space needed for the correct location of premolars and permanent canines non-erupted, in adolescents of the city of Cordoba, Argentina, who show different facial biotypes. Materials and Methods: Models and tele-radiographies of 478 adolescents of both genders from 10 to 15 years of age were analyzed. The tele-radiographies were measured manually in order to determine the facial biotype. The models were scanned with a gauged scanner (HP 3670) and measured by using Image Pro Plus 4.5 software. Results: According to this study, the comparison between the Moyer´s probability table, and the table created at the National University of Córdoba (UNC) (at 95%, 75%, and 50%) shows that, in both tables, a higher value of mesiodistal width of lower incisors corresponds to a bigger difference in the space needed for permanent canines and premolars; being the need for space for permanents canines and premolars bigger in the UNC´s table. On the other hand, when contrasting the values of mesiodistal space for permanent canines and premolars associated with each facial biotype, the discrepancies between groups were not statistically significant (P >0.05). However, we found differences in the size of the space required according to the mesiodistal width range of the lower incisors for each biotype: a) The comparison of lower-range values, with a mesialdistal width of lower incisors less than 22 mm, the space required for permanent canines and premolars resulted smaller in patients with dolichofacial biotype than in patients with mesofacial and braquifacial biotypes. The latter biotypes have meager differences between them. b) The comparison of mid-range values, with a mesialdistal width of lower incisors from 22 to 25 millimeters, shows that the values of required alignment space are similar in the three facial biotypes. c) Finally, the comparison of upper range values, with a mesialdistal width of lower incisors greater than 25 millimeters, indicates that the space required for dolichofacial biotypes tends to be higher than in mesofacial and brachyfacial biotypes. Conclusion: The Moyer´s probability tables should be created to meet the needs of the population under study, with no consideration of patients’ facial biotypes.

Background: Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) is a well-established causal framework that is widely adopted in various domains and has a proven track record of success in research and application areas. However, BBN has weaknesses in causal knowledge elicitation and representation. The representation of the joint probability distribution in the Conditional Probability Table (CPT) has increased the complexity and difficulty for the user either in comprehending the causal knowledge or using it as a front-end modelling tool.   Methods: This study aims to propose a simplified version of the BBN ─ Bayesian causal model, which can represent the BBN intuitively and proposes an inference method based on the simplified version of BBN. The CPT in the BBN is replaced with the causal weight in the range of[-1,+1] to indicate the causal influence between the nodes. In addition, an inferential algorithm is proposed to compute and propagate the influence in the causal model.  Results: A case study is used to validate the proposed inferential algorithm. The results show that a Bayesian causal model is able to predict and diagnose the increment and decrement as in BBN.   Conclusions: The Bayesian causal model that serves as a simplified version of BBN has shown its advantages in modelling and representation, especially from the knowledge engineering perspective.

The purpose of the research is to find out and analyze the attitude of consumers towards products of honda motor vehicles branded vario on PD. Motor Power Muaro Jambi. The number of samples that will be taken is as much as 100 people respondents. Sample withdrawal technique is done in a non probability of simple random sampling. Analysis tools are used multiple linear regression. Research results from theTest F F values obtained to calculate probability with 41.855 of 0.000. Because F count 42.193 > F 2.47 and the probability Table is much smaller than 0.05 regression models then can be used to predict future purchasing decisions (the dependent variable) or it can be said that all independent variables namely Utilitarian Function, the expression value, maintain the ego and knowledge together effect on the dependentvariable consumer purchasing decisions against the Honda brand Vario. The coefficient of determination (R2) above shows the magnitude of the adjusted R2 is 0.640, this means that 64% of the variations in purchase decisions can be explained by the variation of 4 independent variables. The t-test analysis results above is a value t calculate on variable Utilitarian (X 1). variable expression of the value (X 2) Defending the Ego (X 3), variable knowledge (X 4) significance level of 0.000 significance probability α = < 0.05, then Ho denied and Ha is received. This means the variables x 1, x 2,x 3, X 4 positive and significant effect against the decisionKey word: attitude, consumer, purchase

In delay tolerant networks, the success rate and the transmission speed are restricted by limited social interaction and complex node mobility pattern analysis. To increase the success rate and reduce the transmission delay in delay tolerant networks, we propose Daily Routine Analysis for Node Searching in delay tolerant networks. In Daily Routine Analysis for Node Searching, each node is required to generate a Staying Probability Table and a Transiting Probability Table by analyzing its own daily routine, then to distribute its Staying Probability Table and Transiting Probability Table to the whole network with the help of other nodes having different mobility patterns. On the basis of the Staying Probability Table and Transiting Probability Table, Daily Routine Analysis for Node Searching further provides a node tracking strategy and an opportunistic routing strategy for delivering data from the source node to the destination node. Trace-driven experiments are performed to compare Daily Routine Analysis for Node Searching with previous node searching methods. The experimental results demonstrate that Daily Routine Analysis for Node Searching is able to promote the success rate and reduce the transmission delay effectively.

Taking into consideration the unresolved resonance self-shielding effect, probability table is one of the most important and natural methods used to simulate the neutron transport in unresolved resonance range in reactor physics. A module named PURC for probabilistic unresolved resonance calculation which is embedded in the RXSP Beta2.0 code, has been developed by REAL team in Department of Engineering Physics in Tsinghua University. It is the optimization in sort algorithm that make PURC module more efficient. After applying the OpenMP parallel algorithm into this module, it has improved computational efficiency by more than one order of magnitude comparing with the corresponding functional module named PURR in NJOY code. Meanwhile the computational accuracy of PURC module is validated and verified by series of microscopic cross section comparisons and macroscopic criticality benchmarks.
