Data transparency is essential in the modern supply chain to improve trust and boost collaboration among partners. In this context, Blockchain is a promising technology to provide full transparency across the entire supply chain. However, Blockchain was originally designed to provide full transparency and uncontrolled data access. This leads many market actors to avoid Blockchain as they fear for their confidentiality. In this paper, we highlight the requirements and challenges of supply chain transparency. We then investigate a set of supply chain projects that tackle data transparency issues by utilizing Blockchain in their core platform in different manners. Furthermore, we analyze the projects’ techniques and the tools utilized to customize transparency. As a result of the projects’ analyses, we identified that further enhancements are needed to set a balance between the data transparency and process opacity required by different partners, to ensure the confidentiality of their processes and to control access to sensitive data.

Hybrid crystal orientation technology (HOT) substrates comprised of Si (100) and (110) surface orientation paralleling each <110> direction attract considerable attentions as one of the promising technology for high performance bulk CMOS technology. Although HOT substrates are fabricated by wafer bonding of Si (110) and Si (100) surfaces, it is not clear the atomic configuration of interfacial structure. Furthermore, the possibility for the interface to be an effective gettering source of impurity metals was not well studied. In this paper, we studied the interfacial structure and gettering efficiency of the atomic bonded interface by molecular simulations. The results indicate that the simulated atomic configuration and gettering efficiency of the bonded interface agreed well with the experimental results.

Thermal microimprint is a promising technology for polymer microstructure, so it is used to form V-groove on the surface of optical devices. However, it is difficult to control the size accuracy of V-groove because of the elastic recovery of polymer. In order to solve the problem, the influencing factors on the polymer elastic recovery were firstly analyzed in this article. Then, it was proposed that the embossment height of mold should be modified according to the depth of V-groove and the modifier formulas should be constructed based on the theory of polymer viscoelasticity. In the end, the optimal technological parameters of thermal microimprint were obtained through the thermal imprint experiments, and the embossment height of the mold after modification was calculated according to the experimental data, and thus a new mold was produced as to verify the accuracy of the modifier formulas. The results showed that the approach of modification could not only ensure dimension accuracy of V-groove, by keeping the error within 1μm, but also shorten the imprint time, consequently the efficiency of thermal microimprint would be improved.

The paper considers ways of increasing labour productivity in manufacturing radioelectronic system components. We used systems engineering methods to develop a new approach to describing manufacturing processes that makes it possible to reduce assembly duration. We present a promising technology for describing a manufacturing process in small-lot production using digital 3D modelling and a Lego -like approach to design building instructions for children's construction sets.

The modern stage of economic development is intricately linked with accelerated pace of advancement in technology and hence introduces into basic corporate agenda the need to regularly benchmark best competitive practices. Considering highly competitive environment usual tools and metrics do not allow to reveal promising directions of innovative development, whose implementation will help in building new competitive advantages with similar companies. To reveal early signs, revealing emerging directions of innovative development, promising technology and decisions, global practices implement tools and instruments of patent and bibliometric search, allowing to assess current corporate practices in the field of both fundamental and applied research. The article presents the results of a research on activity of leading world railway companies in the field of technological and scientific research, and of priority directions of innovative development, obtained using tools of patent and bibliometric analysis. The research also described the dynamics and the structure of publications and patent applications in the railway sector, the differences in the structure of cooperative links of leading railway companies regarding publication and research activity. The article also studied structuring of patent and publication activity of some companies, showing priority directions of technological and scientific efforts.
