<p><strong>The aim</strong>:  to consider the economic consequences of morbidity and rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system (MSS) among the able-bodied population to confirm the economic feasibility of using physical therapy and the development of its system in the country in order to reduce losses from MSS pathologies in Ukraine.</p><p><strong>Material and methods</strong>: the data of 63 literature sources on the prevalence of MSS diseases among the working population, their economic consequences (payments for treatment, employers' losses), the role of rehabilitation, physical therapy in reducing financial costs, and the needs of the population in rehabilitation and physical therapy were analyzed.</p><p><strong>Results.</strong> Occupational diseases of the MSS are characterized by long-term disability and a high incidence of disability. The effectiveness of rehabilitation, including economic, with injuries and diseases of the MSS was given great attention in the works of domestic and foreign authors. A significant amount of research has confirmed that the funds spent on the implementation of rehabilitation are reimbursed many times by reducing the periods of temporary and permanent loss of working capacity.</p><p><strong>Conclusion.</strong> The economic feasibility of directing the funds for rehabilitation and physical therapy in pathologies of the MSS is reflected in the short duration of disability, the period of adaptation of patients to work, and the need for rehabilitation. Therefore, channeling funds into building a rehabilitation and physical therapy system in Ukraine is appropriate in the framework of medical reform and will have long-term positive economic consequences.</p>

With rising population and purchasing power, demand for food and changing consumer preferences are building pressure on our resources. Vertical Farming, which means growing food in skyscrapers, might help to solve many of these problems. The purpose of this study was to construct a Vertical Farm and thereof investigate the economic feasibility of it. In a concurrent Engineering Study initiated by DLR Bremen, a farm, 37 floors high, was designed and simulated in Berlin to estimate the cost of production and market potential of this technology. It yields about 3,500 tons of fruits and vegetables and ca. 140 tons of tilapia fillets, 516 times more than expected from a footprint area of 0.25 ha due to stacking and multiple harvests. The investment costs add up to € 200 million, and it requires 80 million litres of water and 3.5 GWh of power per year. The produced food costs between € 3.50 and € 4.00 per kilogram. In view of its feasibility, we estimate a market for about 50 farms in the short term and almost 3000 farms in the long term. To tap the economic, environmental and social benefits of this technology, extensive research is required to optimise the production process.

The implementation of the German energy transition (Energiewende) is unclearly framed. The future of the transition depends on more than just technological development or economic feasibility. Rather, a positive attitude and an understanding by the general public are critical to its success. Therefore, communicating the complex, polarized and long-term process in an objective way is essential. We show that despite the alleged clarity of goals, German stakeholders have very diverse reasons for their support of the energy transition. One key reason mentioned is climate protection. Another important goal is the desired independence from energy imports. This diversity is at the heart of the communication challenges. We see a wide variety of goals triggering trade-offs and challenges in understanding the process. Therefore, we suggest an infographic as an approach to communicating the energy transition to the general public with a focus on goals and related future challenges of the transition. We conclude that communication tools should promote an inclusive discussion and debate regarding the goals and challenges of a process, such as the energy transition, to help answer the question: How do we want to live in the future?  Keywords: climate change, energy transition, communication, framing, media

Evaluating the economic feasibility of wind farms via long-term wind-resource assessments is indispensable because short-term data measured at a candidate wind-farm site cannot represent the long-term wind potential. Prediction errors are significant when seasonal and year-on-year variations occur. Moreover, reliable long-term reference data with a high correlation to short-term measured data are often unavailable. This paper presents an alternative solution to predict long-term wind resources for a site exhibiting seasonal and year-on-year variations, where long-term reference data are unavailable. An analysis shows that a mutually complementary measure-correlate-predict method can be employed, because several datasets obtained over short periods are used to correct long-term wind resource data in a mutually complementary manner. Moreover, this method is useful in evaluating extreme wind speeds, which is one of the main factors affecting site compliance evaluation and the selection of a suitable wind turbine class based on the International Electrotechnical Commission standards. The analysis also shows that energy density is a more sensitive metric than wind speed for sites with seasonal and year-on-year variations because of the wide distribution of wind speeds. A case study with short-term data measured at Fujeij, Jordan, clearly identifies the factors necessary to perform the reliable and accurate assessment of long-term wind potentials.

Based on the results of the world practice in the field of cooperation of civil aviation enterprises, the most promising methods of potentially ensuring the efficiency of operation are the merger or amalgamation of airlines in the form of an aviation alliance or aviation pool. The analysis of research on the application of aspects of business planning in the creation of an aviation pool or aviation alliance showed that, despite the need and demand of practice, this aspect in the theoretical, methodological and scientific direction is not given enough attention. An analysis of the literature showed that aspects of the use of the business plan as an element in determining the effectiveness of mergers of civil aviation enterprises in the context of European integration were not carried out. Referring to the above aspects, the ways of perspective development of Ukrainian airlines in the process of overcoming the conditions of competition and financial crisis by joining aviation alliances and creating pools are clarified. It was found that the main tool for determining the effectiveness of the reorganization of the airline and its financial recovery through cooperation is a business plan as a program of long-term development and assessment of economic feasibility. To achieve the goal of the study, the following tasks were performed: summarized and analyzed current areas of reorganization and financial recovery of Ukrainian airlines - the creation of aviation alliances and pools and opportunities for their development in modern conditions of the air transport market of Ukraine; the methodical approach to improvement of process of substantiation of reorganization and its economic results which is seen in development of the business plan of an estimation of commercial prospects is proved; developed recommendations for taking into account and reflecting in the business plan the features of the processes of creating an aviation alliance or pool. The prospect of further research, given the above, is to develop recommendations for management (management) of the process of reorganization of the airline in the implementation of the business plan to create an aviation alliance or pool.

Monoclonal antibodies (mAT) to calcitonin-gene-related peptide (CGRP) have become the fi rst class of preventive medications specifically designed to treat migraines. The article examines the mechanism of action of mAT from the standpoint of a modern view of the pathophysiology of migraine, discusses the issues of immunogenicity and drug interaction. The review describes in detail the monoclonal antibody erenumab, which became available in Russia from February 2020. The action of erenumab is associated with blocking the CGRP receptor, since it is the only one of the existing mAT that competes with the CGRP molecule for binding to the receptor. This review summarizes the pharmacological characteristics of erenumab, presents in detail the results of clinical trials with an emphasis on the publications of the last year. The article also presents the role of this method of treatment in real clinical practice: the eff ectiveness and safety of erenumab in various forms of migraine are described in detail, the possibility of transition (“reverse transformation”) from chronic migraine to episodic form on erenumab therapy is shown, impressive results of treatment of intractable cases in resistant and refractory migraines are presented. Erenumab is the only one of the mAT drugs for which the results of five-year clinical observations have been published, which have proved the sustained effectiveness and safety in long-term use, as well as the economic feasibility of using this therapeutic approach.

The strategy for developing and improving the application of green, clean, renewable and gratis solarenergy is a challenge for multidisciplinary teams of scientists. Exquisite examples of positive worldpractice of the largest solar power plants are presented in this paper, with all the characteristics, startingfrom the materials of photovoltaic panels and technical performance to the cost and financial benefits.The aim was to analyze the development of solar technologies in the function of defining furtherperspectives. The techno economic feasibility of the strategic orientation towards solar energy has beendemonstrated in the model of the solar power plant, carried out by experiment, profitability calculationand multi-criteria analysis. The conclusion is that long-term financial and holistic benefits can beachieved by investing in solar power plants.
