The article is devoted to the analysis of the so called impossibility theorem, according to which democracy, state sovereignty and globalization are mutually exclusive and cannot function to the full extent when present simultaneously. This theorem, elaborated in 2011 by Dani Rodrik, a famous economist from Harvard University, poses a fundamental problem about the prospects of the global scalability of political institutions of the nation-state. Is it in principle possible to globalize executive, legislative and judicial branches of power, civil society, and democracy, or is it necessary to limit globalization in order to preserve democracy and nation-state? Rodrik’s conclusions, in essence, make one give up hopes to create global democratic order against the background of global capitalism. On the basis of the Stanford School of Sociological Institutionalism and the reconstruction of the historical materialism by Jürgen Habermas, the author refutes Rodrik’s theorem. The author’s analysis shows that not only is it possible to build democratic order at the global level, but also that it already exists in the form of the world culture that includes such norms as electoral democracy, nation-state, civil society and other institutions of Modernity. The world culture reproduces fundamental social values, playing the role of social integration for the humanity, while global capitalism provides for its material reproduction, playing the role of system integration. However, since globalization is a more dynamic process than the development of the world culture, between material and ideational universalism arises a gap, which in its turn is fraught with various kinds of political and economic crises.

The aim of the research is to develop the conceptual foundations of the strategy of socio-economic development for mining region (on the example of Kuzbass) under the conditions of the fourth systemic cycle of capitalist accumulation. The relevance of the issue is determined by the need to eliminate the growing lag of Russia behind the world economy leaders, which is impossible without a new vision of the role of resourceproducing regions in the national economic system. Integration of Russia into the capitalist world-system on the basis of the Washington Consensus has formed in it a raw-materials export model in which its natural resources serve the accelerated economic growth of the competing countries. The accumulation of individual capitals dominates the social capital accumulation, which leads to a reduction in Russia's share in world GDP and population. This article presents the conceptual foundations of the Kuzbass development strategy in accordance with the new conditions for the Russian economy performance in the fourth systemic cycle of capitalist accumulation.

This study aims to investigate the mediating role of customers' satisfaction on the effect of customer relationship management on long-term customers' loyalty in the banking sector in the Palestinian Territory. Using advanced statistical methods. This study supports that there is a high level in implementing the CRM, customers' satisfaction, and long-term customers' loyalty. It showed that these three variables: CRM, customers' satisfaction, and long-term customers' loyalty have a significant role on the Banking sector. CRM and its dimensions, and both of customers' satisfaction, and long-term customers' loyalty are positively significant correlated. Also, finds that there is no role for customers' satisfaction as a mediator variable in enhancing the impact of CRM on long-term customers' loyalty. Moreover, based on SEM the study shows that there is a direct impact of CRM system integration and customers satisfaction on long-term customers' loyalty, whereas there is a direct impact for customers' database and CRM system integration on customers' satisfaction. The scholars find that the Palestinian local banks should pay more efforts to improve their competences to enhance the quality of service and their employees' behavior level. On the other side, they need to keep their customers database updated and to be aligned with the cutting edge technologies to provide better service for customers, which is appropriate and meet their needs by obtaining the accurate information about their preferences in order to build a strong competitive advantage that is hard to imitate, this leads to build a strong relationship with customers.

The security of an application is the most important problem in an information system integration process. The authentication and authorization process is usually carried out using Single Sign On (SSO). Authentication and authorization methods are used to secure data in a system. The authentication and authorization processes are carried out on the client side (web browser) in the form of a session and on the server side (web server) in the form of cookies. Sessions and cookies are valuable assets in the authentication and authorization process because they contain the data required for the login process so that the session and cookies need to be secured. Session is a combination of username and password data that has been encrypted while cookies store login information data so that they are still in a state of gaining access according to the privileges given to the user. So important is the role of sessions and cookies in the authentication and authorization process, so we need a way to secure data on sessions and cookies. One way to secure data is to use the REst API and Auth Token.

With 49% of the world’s GDP under net zero goals, the global community is changing in how it treats emissions and carbon releases, with shareholders, stakeholders and investors demanding transparency on current performance and strategies to reduce or offset emissions. High frequency, reliable data empowers an organisation to strategically optimise and track emissions to reach committed goals from the asset level to the board room and across direct, indirect and supply chain sources (Scope 1, 2 and 3). A carbon footprinting solution, which provides a holistic view of total greenhouse gas emissions, requires a combination of carbon accounting, control system integration, emissions monitoring and greenhouse gas reporting software, to deliver an automated, reliable and verifiable real-time emissions/carbon reporting solution. This solution is also critical in providing managed data which can be utilised in the carbon economy and when combined with a Blockchain platform, results in a holistic data transfer chain for emissions reporting which is secure, transparent and trusted throughout industry and government. The role of comprehensive, connected environmental monitoring will be explored in the role of effective emissions offset and carbon trading economies with Blockchain supported technologies being presented as an enabling aspect of the overall solution. Smart contracts embedded within a Blockchain solution could automate trading mechanisms however require quality emissions monitoring data as a foundation for successful implementation. The role of quality emissions monitoring and governance in this process will be presented together with implications for industry and government for the carbon economy.

This article reports on a horizontal merger of two insurance companies and their failure to properly integrate their information systems. The task that was supported by both well-founded market research and external consultants proved more challenging than thought due to the complexity and interconnectedness of related business processes. The main difficulties arose in the area of skill development, skill retention, and management buy-in. Thereby, this article adds valuable insights to the stream of case studies of merger and acquisition activities through providing deeper insights into IS integration, which is by most contributions treated as a black box.

Framing has been presented as a way for micro-level actors to change and diffuse innovations. However, most framing studies have given primacy to language, whereas the role of material artifacts has been largely ignored. The aim of this study is to conceptualize and illustrate how the materiality of technology enables and constrains framing practices. We use empirical data about the development and diffusion of an e-service in the Swedish rheumatology setting from 2000 to 2014. Our results show how three different material features of the technology (data content, user rights, and system integration) initially afforded two different framings of the technology: normalizing and radicalizing framings. The material features, however, lost their ability to afford radicalizing framings over time, along with changes in the collective-action frames governing the field studied.
