In order to meet the security requirement of the dispatching data network and the features of its main applications, the principle of IP over SDH and the overall plan of Henan Power dispatching data network (HNDnet) based on IP over SDH is presented, together with the network architecture of the dual-plane backbone network and access network. Kernel design, network protection on communication side and routers access mode of Henan data dispatching network based on the dual-plane power communication network are illustrated in detail and some examples are given. Then a safer dispatching data network is provided.

Mostly communication now days is done through SoC (system on chip) models so, NoC (network on chip) architecture is most appropriate solution for better performance. However, one of major flaws in this architecture is power consumption. To gain high performance through this type of architecture it is necessary to confirm power consumption while designing this. Use of power should be diminished in every region of network chip architecture. Lasting power consumption can be lessened by reaching alterations in network routers and other devices used to form that network. This research mainly focusses on state-of-the-art methods for designing NoC architecture and techniques to reduce power consumption in those architectures like, network architecture, network links between nodes, network design, and routers.

This chapter studies energy cost saving strategies in power networks. A prosumer is a user that not only consumes electricity, but can also produce and store electricity. Three tips are considered: distributed power network architecture, peak energy shaving with the integration of prosumers' contribution and prosumers market. The proposed distributed power network architecture reduces significantly the transmission costs and can reduce significantly the global energy cost up to 42 percent. Different types of prosumer who use self-charging renewable energy systems, are able to intelligently buy energy from, or sell it, to the power grid. Therein, prosumers interact during the purchase or sale of electric power using a double auction with negotiation mechanism. Using a two-step combined learning and optimization scheme, each prosumer can learn its optimal bidding strategy and forecast its energy production, consumption and storage. Our simulation results show that the integration of prosumers can reduce peak hour costs up to 17 percent and 6 percent for eligible prosumers.

AbstractSatellite Internet (SI) is a new way to provide internet access all over the world. It will bring great convenience to international communication. Compared with the traditional communication networks, SI has a significant change in network architecture and communication model, which will have an important impact on national information network security. For example, the global interconnected SI consists of a large number of small satellites and each satellite has multi-beams to cover a vast area, which leads to the disorderly flow of information across the border, and greatly increases the difficulty of network protection. Therefore, it is necessary to closely track the development of SI and analyze security problems brought by SI. In this paper, we analyze the security risks of SI from the perspective of national security, network security and equipment security, and thirteen security issues have been summarized to provide reference for the healthy development of SI industry.
