In order to conduct model experimental studies of the mutual influence of electromagnetic and mechanical transient processes of starting up inertial vibration drives with an asynchronous motor, its mathematical model is being developed. The analytical dependence of the dynamic mechanical characteristics of the vibrator at various values of the rotor acceleration is determined. The mathematical model uses the dynamic mechanical characteristics of an induction motor as a torque.

Abstract This paper presents the direct field-oriented control (DFOC) method of six-phase induction motor with the application of super-twisting sliding mode algorithm. The mathematical model of the six-phase induction motor has been described. The descriptions of the space vector modulation (SVM) method and the super-twisting algorithm have been presented. The DFOC method with super-twisting sliding mode controllers has been described. The experimental studies of the DFOC method with super-twisting controllers have been performed, and the results of these studies are presented and discussed.

Writing the differential equations of an asynchronous electric motor on the basis of a generalized electric machine in different coordinate axes can not only reduce the number of model equations, but also introduce various factors in the mathematical description that increase the modeling accuracy. It is proposed to write the equations of the mathematical model of an induction motor taking into account the saturation of the magnetic circuit and solve them using the Matlab application package. The proposed approach improves the accuracy of calculating the mechanical characteristics of an asynchronous electric drive.

The article deals with the development of a physical model of a car equipped with measuring, recording and remote control equipment for experimental study of car properties. A detailed description of the design of the physical model and of the electronic modules used is given, links to application libraries and the code of the first part of the program for remote control of the model are given. Atmega microcontroller on the Arduino Uno platform was used to manage the model and register the parameters. When moving the car on the memory card saved such parameters as speed, voltage on the motor, current on the motor, the angle of the steered wheel, acceleration along three coordinate axes are recorded. Use of more powerful microcontrollers will allow to expand the list of the registered parameters of movement of the car. It is possible to measure the forces acting on the elements of the car and other parameters. In the future, it is planned to develop a mathematical model of motion of the car and check its adequacy in conducting experimental studies on maneuverability on the physical model. In addition, it is possible to conduct studies of stability and consumption of electrical energy. The physical model allows to quickly change geometric dimensions and mass parameters. In the study of highway trains, this approach will allow to investigate the various layout schemes of highway trains in the short term. It is possible to make two-axle road trains and saddle towed trains, three-way hitched trains of different layout. The results obtained will allow us to improve not only the mathematical model, but also the experimental physical model, and move on to further study the properties of hybrid road trains with an active trailer link. This approach allows to reduce material and time costs when researching the properties of cars and road trains. Keywords: car, physical model, experiment, road trains, sensor, remote control, maneuverability, stability.

The paper represents the mathematical model for diagnostics of supercapacitors. The research objectives are the problem of determining a supercapacitor technical condition during its operation. The general reliability of diagnostics is described as the methodological and instrumental reliabilities of diagnostics. The instrumental diagnostic reliability of supercapacitor includes the probabilities of errors of the first and second kind, α and β respectively. The methodological approach to increasing the reliability of supercapacitor diagnostic has been proposed, in terms of multi-parameter supercapacitor diagnostic by applying nonlinear, frequency dependent mathematical models of supercapacitors that take into account nonlinearity, frequency dispersion of parameters and the effect of transient processes in supercapacitors. The more frequencies, operating voltages and currents are applied in the supercapacitor diagnostics, the more methodological reliability of diagnostics will increase in relation to the methodological reliability of supercapacitor diagnostics when only one frequency, voltage and current are applied.

Abstract Clearance is inevitable in the kinematic joints of mechanisms. In this paper the dynamic behavior of a crank-slider mechanism with clearance in its tripod-ball sliding joint is investigated theoretically and experimentally. The mathematical model of this new-type joint is established, and the new concepts of basal system and active system are put forward. Based on the mode-change criterion established in this paper, the consistent equations of motion in full-scale are derived by using Kane method. The experimental rig was set up to measure the effects of the clearance on the dynamic response. Corresponding experimental studies verify the theoretical results satisfactorily. In addition, due to the nonlinear elements in the improved mathematical model of the joint with clearance, the chaotic responses are found in numerical simulation.

The calculation procedure for determining the plasticity of pre-deformed metals during their processing by pressure has been developed. The calculation procedure is based on a fracture model, which in turn is based on the tensor description of damage accumulation. With known mechanical characteristics, as well as with known plasticity diagrams, the fracture model makes it possible to evaluate the plasticity of pre-deformed bend for any kind of stress state. When manufacturing steeply curved branches using the pipe extrusion method, the procedure was tested. Verification of the mathematical model has shown a high level of its adequacy, and it can be used in assessing the plasticity of pre-deformed billet.

AbstractThe aim of this paper is to present the adsorption chillers technology. The operating principle of these systems, the adsorbent-adsorbate pairs that are frequently applied and the enhancement techniques that allow improvement of their efficiency are presented. Analysis of the mass transfer and principles of mathematical modeling of such systems are also discussed. In the further part of the text, the results of experimental studies and comparison of these results with calculations based on the mathematical model of adsorption were presented.
