Biological invasion generates serious threats to global biodiversity. Exotic species usually have high environmental adaptability and tolerance, which is one of the bases of their invasion. Except for biological invasion threats, other serious environmental problems like extreme cold or hot events, soil drought, saline-alkali and flood are emerging constantly on a global scale. In the background of multiple environmental problems interfering with existing habitats, exploring the growth characteristics of invasive plants in different habitats, and grasping the reasons why the invasive plants can obtain growth superiorities are in favor of propelling the understanding of their invasion mechanism. This paper gives an overview of research progress on the invasive plants’ morphological characteristics and physiological characteristics in deferent habitats, summarizes the growth specialties of invasive plants which are affected by high temperature, low temperature, drought and flood, and discusses the reasons why the invasive plants prevail in the growth competitions, which provided theoretical and realistic signification to relieve the biological invasion current status.

Biological invasion seriously threatens ecological stability and social development. One of the bases for forming invasion is alien species’ strong phenotypic plasticity. Phenotypic plasticity can help alien species adapt to environmental changes and enhance their invasive ability. China is one of the countries seriously affected by drought. Under the background of environmental drought, exploring the reasons why invasive plants can gain growth advantages and mastering the phenotypic changes of invasive plants in response to drought stress are conducive to helping us understand more about the invasion mechanism of invasive species. In this paper, the research progresses of invasive plants’ morphological plasticity and physiological plasticity under drought stress in recent years are reviewed, the invasive plants’ morphological and physiological metabolic characteristics under drought are summarized, and the growth advantages of invasive plants are discussed, which provided a scientific theoretical basis for alleviating the serious harm caused by biological invasion to China’s natural environment.

Circular economy (CE) is a concept actively advocated by the European Union (EU), China, Japan, and the United Kingdom. At present, CE is considered to grant the most traction for companies to achieve sustainable development. However, CE is still rarely adopted by enterprises. As the backbone of the fourth industrial revolution, the digital economy (DE) is considered to have a disruptive effect. Studies have shown that digital technology has great potential in promoting the development of CE. Especially during the COVID-19 epidemic that has severely negatively affected the global economy, environment, and society, CE and DE are receiving high attention from policy makers, practitioners, and scholars around the world. However, the integration of CE and digital technology is a small and rapidly developing research field that is still in its infancy. Although there is a large amount of research in the fields of CE and DE, respectively, there are few studies that look into integrating these two fields. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to explore the research progress and trends of the integration of CE and DE, and provide an overview for future research. This paper adopts a bibliometric research method, employs the Web of Science database as its literature source, and uses VOSviewer visual software to carry out keyword co-occurrence analysis, which focuses on publication trends, journal sources, keyword visualization, multidisciplinary areas, life cycle stages, and application fields.

With nitrite or nitrate nitrogen as electron acceptor in the high salt conditons, halophilic denitrifying bacteria can transfer nitrite or nitrate to nitrogen, thereby purifying the high-salt wastewater. Halophilic denitrifying bacteria play an important role in the carbon and nitrogen removal of saline wastewater, such as petroleum, chemical industry, seafood processing and seafood farming. This article dissussed halophilic denitrifying bacteria screening, the main types and the corresponding morphological characteristics, then we focused on the research progress of main factors of halophilic denitrifying bacteria’s growth and nitrogen removal. Finally put forward the current problems of the research and development trend of halophilic denitrifying bacteria.

Food Packaging material requires an excellent barrier ability to humidity and oxygen.SiOx barrier thin film deposited on high polymer substrate can compare beauty with aluminum foil in the barrier quality,even more SiOx barrier thin film is obviously allowing microwave permeating directly and it also provide a chance for merchant to vision their production in shelf life.SiOx film as barrier packaging material is becoming a high light.The current status and research progress of new type high barrier thin film packaging material were overviewed and production technology was introduced. The various influencing factors were discussed, including background vacuum, reactive gases, and pretreatment of the substrate surface and properties.

This paper reviews the literature on the economics of invasive species management as it applies to invasive species in general and terrestrial invasive species in particular. The paper summarizes a number of recent studies that assign values to the economic impact of terrestrial invasive species on a national scale. This is followed by a review of the economic literature on control and prevention of a biological invasion and the literature on international trade and trade policy with invasive species. The paper then reviews selected studies on terrestrial invasive plants, animals, and microbes, respectively.

AbstractTo update the status of knowledge on the recombination-enhanced dislocation glides (REDG) in semiconductors, which is one of the causes of serious degradation in bipolar devices, research progress achieved for the last decade has been surveyed. Rather than presenting a complete review over a wide range of material systems, a particular attention has been paid to the REDG effect in 4H-SiC for which a lot of information has been accumulated owing to extensive studies. Although the REDG effect exhibits features that could be interpreted in terms of the phonon-kick mechanism, conclusive proof is still lacking.

In this minireview, I summarize the research progress achieved since then and report on the current status of taxonomy, biogeography, physiological diversity, biochemistry, and other research areas involving this exciting group of acidophilic archaea.
