Nowadays we can get anywhere in the world. The success of civil aviation became possible thanks to flight safety improvement. However, flight safety performance indicators are still low. This is because the ensuring flight safety is largely due to the peculiarities of the impact of socio-cultural factors in different regions. The article is noted that flights are performed by humans with the help of technical means, but it is important to establish anthropological and socio-cultural factors that influence human decision-making. But during the process of communication between the representatives of technocratic and traditionalist societies, misunderstandings, differences of interpretations keep arising. These differences in interpretations are the result of socio-cultural differences. In a traditionalist society; the priority of the senior in status has an unconditional priority over the impersonal universalism of the instructions and norms. From the standpoint of technocratic thinking, the requirements of mechanisms, technical systems and norms have unconditional priority over human orders. But from the standpoint of the traditionalist world view the system of interpersonal relations the dominant are the attitudes and demands of the person, senior in status. Independent, analytical thinking can free a person from the unconditional recognition of the authority of the senior in status.

AbstractBy synthesizing relevant research findings from China and other countries, this paper discusses the distribution and eruption types of volcanoes in China. An analysis of the spreading characteristics of volcanic ash possibly caused by volcanic eruptions such as those from Changbaishan is presented, and the impact of volcanic ash on aviation flight safety, as well as several key methods of monitoring volcanic ash are discussed. This paper also outlines the operational process of China's aviation industry in addressing volcanic ash and compares and analyses the handling of volcanic ash by civil aviation industries globally. Further, ways of dealing with volcanic ash are then suggested for China's aviation industry.

Background: Analysis of aviation accident investigations indicates that one of the main causes of accidents is a decrease in the level of stress resistance of the crew during extreme flight situations, which in turn can lead to a crash. The study of the problem of the negative impact of stressors on the effective operation of the flight crew, indicates that there is a need to form stress resistance in future pilots of civil aviation in the training process. This quality will reduce the threat to flight safety due to human error. Purpose: To characterize publications that actualize the issues of professional stressors in the activities of civil aviation pilots, because their activities are constantly accompanied by many specific stressors, most of which are long-term. Materials and Methods: In the process of research general scientific methods were used – abstract-logical, theoretical generalization, comparison, analysis and synthesis, system analysis. Results: The problem of the impact of stress on the professional activities of pilots is considered, which in modern conditions becomes especially relevant, because the number of air traffic is growing every year. The main four types of general stress that occur in professional flying, as well as the consequences it leads to, are analyzed. Groups of stressors acting on pilots during professional activity are considered and analyzed. An explanation of the psychological mechanisms (aggression, irritability, dogmatism and frustration) that may be involved in trying to cope with a stressful situation. Conclusions: The practical importance for further research in improving the training of future pilots of civil aviation to reduce the impact of the human factor on flight safety was substantiated, as evidenced by the direct impact of stressors on flight safety and the number of extreme flight situations.

I aimed to identify organizational and interorganizational factors that affect flight safety, and to determine possible differences in organizational factors according to differences in organizational performance. I interviewed 28 pilots, 33 air traffic controllers, and 17 maintenance technicians, and used content analysis by coding to analyze the data. Results showed that (a) cluster analysis revealed 3 relevant organizational factors: information interface, technical management, and nontechnical management, with employees mostly concerned about the third factor; (b) pilots expected to be served by controllers, whereas controllers would like to be in control of their relationship with pilots; and (c) compared with maintenance technicians, pilots were particularly concerned with safety. Implications for safety research and management in the Chinese civil aviation industry are discussed.

The problem of flight safety continues to be of great importance in civil aviation, despite today aviation is the safest mode of transport. Particular attention is paid to the human factor, since it has a significant impact on safety. The article analyzes the impact of eye strain caused by displayed flight navigation data on a pilot during landing and discusses how to reduce it. It considers how the pilot interacts with aircraft equipment. The flight data, increasing eye strain, but having no affects on successful landing of the aircraft is specified. The article substantiates the necessity of adaptive display of flight data on the screen during landing. The proposed adaptive method for displaying flight navigation data is supposed to reduce the pilot’s eye strain, which contributes to improved quality of piloting and ensures flight safety.

This research deals with the impact of Local Tax and Retribution Receipt to Local Government Original Receipt of Regency/City in Central Java from 2008 to 2012. This research utilizes the data of actual of local government budget from Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (Direktorat Jendral Perimbangan Keuangan). Methods of collecting data through census. The number of Regency/City in Central Java are 35. But the data consists of 33 of Regency/City In Central Java from 2008 to 2012. Total of samples are 165. Karanganyar Regency and Sukoharjo Regency were not included as samples of this research because they didn’t report the data of actual of local government budget to Directorate General of Fiscal Balance in 2009.The model used in this research is multiple regressions. The independent variables are Local Tax and Retribution Receipt, the dependent variable is Local Government Original Receipt. The research findings show that Local Tax and Retribution give the significant impact partially and simultaneusly on Local Government Original Receipt at real level 5 percent. All independent variables explain 91,90 percent of the revenue variability while the rest 8,10 percent is explained by other variables.Keywords: Local Tax, Retribution, and Local Government Original Receipt

In this article I examine aspects of the relationship between mothers and sons from an attachment perspective in an Irish context. Through the works of Irish writers such as Seamus Heaney, John McGahern, and Colm Tóibín, I focus on particular aspects of this relationship, which fails to support the developmental processes of separation and individuation in the many men who come to me for psychotherapy. I illustrate key points concerning this attachment dynamic through the use of clinical examples of my work with two men from my practice. While acknowledging that many other cultural factors play a significant role in the emotional development of children, integrating the work of our poets, novelists, and scholars with an attachment perspective

This study focuses on examining the impact of three components of materialism on green purchase intention for urban consumers in Vietnam, an emerging economy. An extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is applied as the conceptual framework for this study. The hypotheses are empirically tested using survey data obtained from consumers in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The regression results show support for most of our hypotheses. The findings indicate that two out of three facets of materialism are significant predictors of green purchase intention. Specifically, success is found to be negatively related to purchase intention, while happiness is related positively to the intention. All three antecedents in the TPB model, including attitude towards green purchase, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control are also found to have positive impacts on purchase intention. The research findings are discussed and implications for managers and policy makers are provided.

This study attempted to identify the impact of internal work environment on the retention of healthcare providers at Turaif General Hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In particular, the study aimed to identify the dimensions of work circumstances, compensation, and relationship with colleagues, professional growth, and the level of healthcare providers’ retention. In order to achieve the study goals, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The researcher used the questionnaire as the study tool. The study population comprised all the healthcare providers at Turaif General Hospital. Questionnaires were distributed to the entire study sample that consisted of 220 individuals. The number of questionnaires valid for study was 183 questionnaires. The research findings were as follows: the participants’ estimate of the work circumstances dimension was high (3.64), the participants’ estimate of the compensation dimension was moderate (3.32), the participants’ estimate of the relationship with colleagues dimension was high (3.62), the participants’ estimate of the professional growth dimension was weak (2.39), and the participants’ estimate of healthcare providers’ retention level was intermediate (2.75). Accordingly, the researcher’s major recommendations are: the need to create the right atmosphere for personnel in hospitals, the interest of the hospital to provide the appropriate conditions for the staff in terms of the physical and moral aspects for building the work adjustment in the staff, and conducting training courses and educational lectures for personnel in hospitals on how to cope with the work pressures.
