Urban components are the important part of the city, and the rapid and efficient survey of urban components is a key requirement of urban digitization. In this paper, a method of the collaborative survey and storage of urban components is proposed. The national standard code for urban components survey is optimized to accelerate the survey and storage of urban components, and the time cost of error discovery is shorten by using AutoCAD to check the spatial location and employing a VBA macro programme to search for the attribute data errors. At the same time, a collaborative processing flow of components data is constructed through ArcPy to further speed up the storage of urban components. The experiment of urban components survey in Wanxiu District of Wuzhou City shows that this method can effectively reduce the complexity of urban component data storage procedure and the error rate. Compared with the traditional method, the proposed method is about 2 times more efficient to input the urban component data into the database.

 Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) have been widely used in warehousing systems to speed up load movements and save storage space. ASRS is an integrated system that is equipped with a controller and arm for the collection and storage of goods. This paper discusses the results of developing a system for taking and storing goods for various loads. The prototype element consists of a mechanism for retrieving, placing and application for data collection into the database. In this research, the design and development of ASRS was carried out to be applied in the storage of products of various sizes which is suitable for small size industries. The development process includes investigating features that have been developed in the ASRS, operating procedures, hardware selection and software development in accordance with the mechanism designed. Numerical control which moves the carrier element with high resolution is applied to be able to place the load in a changing position. Development and testing is carried out to ensure the performance of the tool runs well and the data storage that includes the identification and size of the load can be recorded properly.

The Cloud storage is the most important issue today. This is due to a rapidly changing needs and a huge mass of varied and important data to back up. In this paper, we describe a work in progress and propose a flexible system architecture for data storage in the Cloud. This system is centered on the Data Manager module. This module provides various functions such as the dispersion of data in fragments, encryption and storage of fragments... etc. This architecture proves to be very relevant. It ensures consistency between different components. On the other hand, it ensures the security and availability of data.

The high-altitude missile and other special application occasions have requirements on image storage system, such as small size, high storage speed, low temperature resistance, etc. Commonly used image storage system in the market cannot meet such requirement. In the paper, real-time image storage system solutions on missile based on FPGA should be proposed. The system mainly consists of acquisition module and memory reading module. The whole system adopts FPGA as main control chip for mainly completing real-time decoding and acquisition on one path of PAL format video images, reading and writing of NandFlash chipset, erasure, bad block management and so on. The solution has passed various environmental tests with stable performance, large data storage capacity and easy expansion, which has been used in engineering practice.

Fluoride is ingested primarily through consuming drinking water. When drinking water contains fluoride concentrations >0.7 parts per million (ppm), consuming such water can be toxic to the human body; this toxicity is called “fluorosis.” Therefore, it is critical to determine the fluoride concentrations in drinking water. The objective of this study was to determine the fluoride concentration in the drinking water of the city of Durango. The wells that supply the drinking water distribution system for the city of Durango were studied. One hundred eighty-nine (189) water samples were analyzed, and the fluoride concentration in each sample was quantified as established by the law NMX-AA-077-SCFI-2001. The fluoride concentrations in such samples varied between 2.22 and 7.23 ppm with a 4.313 ± 1.318 ppm mean concentration. The highest values were observed in the northern area of the city, with a 5.001 ± 2.669 ppm mean value. The samples produced values that exceeded the national standard for fluoride in drinking water. Chronic exposure to fluoride at such concentrations produces harmful health effects, the first sign of which is dental fluorosis. Therefore, it is essential that the government authorities implement water defluoridation programs and take preventative measures to reduce the ingestion of this toxic halogen.

Increasing requirements for data transfer and storage is one of the crucial questions now. There are several ways of high-speed data transmission, but they meet limited requirements applied to their narrowly focused specific target. The data compression approach gives the solution to the problems of high-speed transfer and low-volume data storage. This paper is devoted to the compression of GIF images, using a modified LZW algorithm with a tree-based dictionary. It has led to a decrease in lookup time and an increase in the speed of data compression, and in turn, allows developing the method of constructing a hardware compression accelerator during the future research.

The city of Aripuana is one of the largest wood producer in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. Wood residues are used in the electricity generation at three thermoelectric plants in this region. However, the plants have high costs in transporting the wood residues (due to poor road conditions). Hence, this paper compares the energy performance of wood residues in natura and compacted as briquettes by calculating the heating value and determining the influence of moisture content on the energy characteristics of wood residues. The goal is to demonstrate the viability of using briquettes in order to improve thermoelectric generation. The wood residues from this region are affected by the high humidity of the biome. An alternative to improve the use of energy contained in the wood residues is to produce briquettes with lower humidity. This allows one to maintain high levels of heat energy in a lower volume, facilitating handling and storage. The results show that the use of briquettes improved the performance of thermoelectric plants, generating 1 MW of electricity power with less than 1 ton of briquettes. This contributes to the preservation of the environment, reducing operating costs, transportation and storage of the raw materials.

Urbanization is an inevitable path of economic and social development.It refers to the process which includes population aggregation to the city, expansion of urban scale and a series of economic and social change resulted from above. According to the general law of urbanization development, Anhui has entered the acceleration stage of urbanization. This paper attempts to analysis the situation of Anhui province in a comprehensive and system perspective, put forward empirical analysis of the situation, problems and the main constraints of urbanization of Anhui province, and then proposes the ways to speed up urbanization of Anhui province: powerfully develop the economy, strengthen the power base of urbanization; deepen reform of the system and promote the system innovation; adjust the industrial structure, vigorously develop the tertiary sector.
