The relevance of the topic is due to the widespread use of information technology in higher educational institutions. This trend has conflicting and ambiguous consequences. On the one hand, the use of information technology increases the accessibility of education, makes the educational process flexible, and expands the possibilities of using visual materials. On the other hand, problems arise in the development of teaching methods that are necessary to stimulate the learning activity of students. To study the attitude of teachers and students to the problems of using information technology in higher education, the scientific publications of foreign and Russian scientists were analyzed. The purpose of the research is to study the peculiarities of perceiving the problems of informatization of the educational process by teachers and students of higher educational institutions. The empirical basis of the study was the materials of a sociological survey conducted among students of Togliatti State University in 2014 (N=359) and in 2019 (N=353). Comparative analysis of the results shows that within five years the number of students who are interested in using information resources in the educational process has significantly increased. A similar trend can be traced in the interest in using educational programs and simulators. From 2014 to 2019, the number of students who would like to receive supplementary training in information technology has doubled. The growing interest of students in the use of information technology necessitates the development of modern teaching methods, changes in the forms of interaction between students and teachers in the educational process. The solution to these problems at the present stage is associated with the search for the optimal combination of information and interactive technologies in the educational process.

Purpose: to reveal the peculiarities of teaching students of higher educational institutions of specializations of sports games and martial arts ski training. Material and methods. To solve the set tasks, we conducted a study in the 2020/2021 academic year with students of the Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture in the amount of 45 people, aged 18-20 years, for three weeks. Students were taught skiing techniques both according to the traditional system (control group) and according to the methodology developed by us (experimental groups). The time for learning the technique of skiing in both groups was the same 15 classes of classical style and 15 classes of skating style for 90 minutes each (according to the work program of the discipline), but the teaching methods in the experimental groups differed. The following methods were used during the research: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature sources, working curricula and practical experience of teachers; analysis of information on the Internet; pedagogical observations; method of expert assessments; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: as a result of the study, it was found that students of the experimental group (E1) received significantly better scores than the control group for performing the technique of movement in the classical style, the average score - 6.30, and the control group - 5.68 points (t=3,6; p<0,01), for performing the technique of skating style score (E1) was 6.18 points, and the control group – 5,25 points (t=5,2; p<0,01). Students of the experimental group (E2) for performing the technique of classical movement style received an average score of 5.93, compared with the control group - 5.68 points, no significant difference was found (p>0,05), the average score of the group (E2) for performing skating style was 5.90 points, and the control group – 5,25 points, which is significantly better (t=3,8; p<0,01). Conclusions. The use of different teaching methods, taking into account sports specializations, as well as the development of leading motor skills, has improved the learning outcomes of students of higher education specializations in sports games and martial arts ski training. As a result of the use of simulation and special training exercises without skis and on skis at the beginning of classes on the technique of classical and skating skiing, students of the group significantly improved the mastery of ski training on all indicators (p<0,01–0,05). Keywords: ski training, educational process, students, sports games, martial arts, motor abilities.

The objective of this study was to determine whether higher education institutions, teachers and students of the specialization in musical art are prepared to create and use the digital educational space in the educational process. The study involved the following methods: literature review and analysis of the content of official documents of higher educational institutions that provide professional training for music teachers; survey; mathematical methods of data processing; Statistica software package. The research has shown that not all higher educational institutions have the necessary resources to implement learning in the digital education space. Besides, not all higher educational institutions teach subjects that help improve students’ digital literacy. There are also teachers who have difficulties using the digital educational space in the learning process due to lack of digital literacy. The study demonstrated awareness of the importance of using the digital educational space in the education of future music teachers. But, it is necessary to pay attention to improving the digital literacy of all participants in the educational process, as well as provide educational institutions with proper modern recourses, software, hardware and equipment, including also computer music technologies and electronic musical instruments.

The practical experience of implementing the technologies of forming engineering thinking of students of higher educational institutions is given in the paper. The formation of engineering thinking through the competence approach is possible due to the study not only of the theoretical lecture course but also the solution of practical problems with the introduction of interactive teaching methods. Studies have shown that the use of various techniques in the educational process has markedly increased the perception of the theoretical material by the students, and, importantly, the interest in a discipline and the need for acquiring, preserving, multiplying knowledge.

The article addresses theoretical substantiation and empirical research of personal readiness of teachers and instructors in higher educational institutions to implementing dialogue as a form of educational process. The essence of educational dialogue is viewed as an integrated procedural form of active learning, which is aimed at transformation of internal experiences of future specialist and acquiring new ones. The author states that a complete educational dialogue depends on three components: 1) the dialogism of a teacher; 2) the dialogic nature of educational material (as a fragment of given educational content); 3) student dialogue. The leading role of the instructor is being analyzed not only in the dialogic organization of educational process, but also in development of dialogical culture of students. Two aspects of the teacher's readiness are singled out: 1) how a teacher goes through self-realization and personality development (personal readiness); 2) how a teacher contributes to personal growth of students (professional readiness). The article analyzes facilitative abilities of a teacher, based on which the teacher develops personal readiness for implementing dialog as a form of educational process. It has been empirically proven, based on the questionnaires administered to both teachers and students, that teachers often focus on formal indicators, on the monotony and authoritarianism of teaching. Relations between teachers and students are often manipulative, and there is an alienation and indifference of the teaching staff towards students in pedagogical communication. At the same time, dogmatism, formalism, and closeness, and stereotypical role behavior of teachers and students constitute the greatest obstacle in transforming educational process into a dialogue.

Abstract The paper deals with one of modern effective pedagogical technologies in relation to management of the educational process with students of higher educational institutions. The authors discuss the concept of virtual excursion, formulate its advantages over traditional technologies, clarify the principles of modern pedagogical activity through a virtual excursion for the teachers and students. The paper presents one of the lecture plans devoted to a virtual tour using Internet resources. Relying on live resources, the authors argue that a virtual excursion brings students closer to their professional tasks, teach them to associate theoretical material with practice. As for an instructor, the effective use of modern innovative, computer training technology can improve the efficiency of teaching different subjects, streamline learning activities, optimize the processes of understanding and memorizing learning material.

The requirements of modern society pose to higher educational institutions the task of developing and using new tools, approaches and technologies in the educational process to improve the quality of the educational process. In higher educational institutions, test task generators are part of software systems designed to solve the problem of supporting the educational process. In the presented work, the use of template-based generators is considered. The use of generators changes the workload of both teachers and students. Students can independently check the studied material, repeat it, check knowledge again. The use of the test assignment generator allows you to save teachers’ resources in terms of checking the assimilation, understanding the discipline sections. The use of the test item generator makes it possible to solve a number of problems in the educational process: to partially automate the educational process, remove the routine load from teachers, and receive test results. The paper describes the structure of the test tasks generator. The generator model is shown in object-set representation. Examples of using the generator for various disciplines are presented. It has been said about the advantage of developing and implementing a test case generator using the Django web framework. A bank of templates for test tasks has been developed. Each template contains a description of the generated task in accordance with the subject of the discipline. A mechanism for assigning a student’s assessment of passed tests with the provision of a report on the results to the teacher and the student has been implemented. The testing of the generator of test tasks was carried out, which showed that the web-oriented application performs online testing of students and saves the results.
