The presence of a direct causal relationship between management decisions and the analytical and research role of information allows us to prove the strategic importance of information resources. Typically, the need for data is considered at the management level of a company or organization. This position indicates the unambiguity of the confirmation regarding the results of the analyzed data and the possibility of their monetization. Information data is a kind of fundamental basis, demanded by the key structural links of any company. Information serves as an effective identifier of the company's potential opportunities and probable losses in an unstable business environment, as well as quality support from strategically significant initiatives. Of no small importance today is attached to the possibilities of joint application of relevant information on the part of all divisions of the company in order to react as quickly as possible to the transformation of the economic space. It should be noted that information is a kind of asset, the level of efficiency of which is especially important for successful activity. The article discusses artificial intelligence in corporate governance systems.

Firms are central actors in innovation, and their actions are much affected by their corporate governance and the finance available. Thus a country's finance and corporate governance system is a key element of its national system of innovation. The technological regimes of sectors (and sub-sectors) vary in ways that affect the demands innovation makes on the financial and corporate governance system. Finance and corporate governance systems (FCGSs) vary among countries in their ability to meet these demands. By setting three dimensions of regime variation alongside the three corresponding dimensions of FCGS variation, patterns of relative and absolute technological advantage among economies can be largely explained — particularly when the focus is on nationality of firm rather than location of activity.

Abstract:  This study examines the effect of the relationship between intellectual capital, good corporate governance, and firm value by using competitive advantage as mediation. Design/methodology/approach :  This study uses a sample of companies registered in CGPI during the 2014-2018 period. Data analysis using regression and path analysis.Research findings :  The research results show that the creation of a competitive advantage is inseparable from the role of intellectual capital and good corporate governance. In addition, competitive advantage is able to increase firm value but unfortunately it is not able to mediate company value.Theoretical contribution/ Originality :  This study uses M-VAIC to measure intellectual capital where in this measurement there is additional relational capital, and the use of competitive advantage as a mediating variable.Practitioner/Policy implication : This study proves the resourced-based theory which states that a company can win the competition by having a competitive advantage so that in the end it can increase firm value.Research limitation/Implication:  This study only includes CGPI listed companies as the research sample. In addition, the independent variables used are limited to intellectual capital and good corporate governance. Keywords:  intellectual capital, good corporate governance, competitive advantage, company value
