AbstractWWW-based user interface is presented for secure electronic mail service for healthcare users. Using this method, communications between an electronic mail (WWW) server and users (WWW browsers) can be performed securely using Secure Socket Layer protocol-based Hypertext Transfer Protocol (SSL-HTIP). The mail can be encrypted, signed, and sent to the recipients and vice versa on the remote WWW server. The merit of this method is that many healthcare users can use a secure electronic mail system easily and immediately, because SSL-compatible WWW browsers are widely used and this system can be made available simply by installing a WWW-based mail user agent on a mail server. We implemented a WWWbased mail user agent which is compatible with PEM-based secure mail and made it available to about 16,000 healthcare users. We believe this approach is effective in facilitating secure network-based information exchange among medical professionals.

The improvement in available information systems managed to open numerous roads throughout the world for visually disordered people. Digital enviroment relying on audio input like this, the screen reviewer has aided blind individuals to greatly navigate online web based apps. But it is really challenging for blind individuals to reach all such contextual items, and even to use any internet facility. The progress of affordable internet-based technologies has widened up a number of possibilities for people who are blind worldwide. Screen readers have helped the blind to navigate internet apps enormously in an audio-representative virtual space, as we define a system architecture for voicemail that can be utilized readily and effectively by the blind individual to view emails. The output produced by this study has allowed blind individuals with a mobile phone device to submit and obtain voice-oriented emails in their mother tongue. Our graphical interface system was assessed against the conventional mail server graphical end user interface.

E-mail system is one of the critical infrastructures of any organization. It is necessary to ensure that the mail servers in use should be secured in such a way that no security properties like confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity are compromised. To achieve these security properties we have setup a secure e-mail server testbed that provides security against malware and spam, and guaranties secure e-mail delivery. This paper proposes a secure methodology for filtering spam and malware in the e-mail system, comprising standard layers of protocols and policies. An experimental testbed is established to evaluate the effectiveness of our methodology and was tested with spam and malware e-mails. Our results showed an accuracy of 95 percent, against a typical configuration of an e-mail system.

In the world of IT technology is growing rapidly, with the rapid development of these specialized companies engaged in the procurement of bandwidth must always conduct searches about IT technology in the field of network services. And the flow of highly needed data or information exchange continues to increase, one of which is via e-mail. In small companies that do not have their own e-mail server or email server backup, they look for services to hosting, network or service companies engaged in data services. Therefore PT NAP Info Lintas Nusa wishes to improve services by adding new services, namely the Email server service. This service is intended for companies that do not have their own e-mail server or companies that want to back up their e-mail. In this case PT NAP Info Lintas Nusa does not yet have specific criteria to determine what operating system will be used that can support the running of the service. So the company decided to use the AHP method with expert choice to determine what criteria would be chosen so as to determine the alternative to be chosen.

Collaborative applications use the security services offered by secure socket layer / transport layer security (SSL/TLS) to implement authentication and confidentiality. Since SSL/TLS establishes a secure communication between two participants, for a secure network of n (> 2) participants, at least n(n-1)/2 secure communication channels have to be established. Whereas, a group key agreement (GKA) protocol allows the participants to compute a common secret group key as a function of the secrets of participants, and thereby remove the n(n-1)/2 lower bound on the channel requirement. Partial forward secrecy is a property of the GKA protocol which assesses the secrecy of the group key, when the secrets are compromised. Collaborative applications have different security requirements. Hence, the Spread Toolkit offers a set of GKA protocols, so that the designers can choose the most appropriate one. In this article, given a set of GKA protocols, a method is proposed to select the best among them, with respect to partial forward secrecy.
