This study aims to obtain a picture of improving the ability of mathematical communication on the implementation of learning contextual teaching and learning approach viewed from the level of student learning interest. The method used in this research is an experiment with factorial design 3 x 2. The population is all junior high school students in Karawang regency with the subject of the sample is two classes of X in one of SMP Negeri in Kabupaten Karawang. The first class gets learning with contextual teaching and learning, and the second class gets learning by direct learning. From the research, it can be concluded that there are differences in the mathematical communication ability of the students whose learning using Contextual Teaching and Learning learning with direct learning, there is no difference in the improvement of mathematical communication ability among students who have high, medium and low learning interest, there is an interaction between the learning approach and the level interest in learning to improve the ability of mathematical communication, the implementation of learning using Contextual Teaching and Learning learning has been running with the steps that have been determined, the students' difficulties in completing the problem of understanding and mathematical communication lies in the indicator (a) linking a concept/principle with the concept/principle (b) can apply formulas in simple calculations and work on algorithmic calculations, (c) associate a concept/principle with other concepts/principles.

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the results of the learning model instrument, textbooks, student worksheets, assessment sheets, and learning implementation plans. This study uses the Dick and Carey development model. There are 7 steps in Dick and Carey's learning, including 1) Identifying learning objectives, 2) Conducting learning analysis, 3) Analyzing student characteristics and learning context, 4) Formulating specific learning objectives, 5) Developing learning instruments, 6) Developing strategies learning, 7) Developing and selecting learning materials, 8) Designing and developing evaluation and assessment, 9) Revising learning programs, 10) Implementing and developing evaluations. Based on the results of the study showed that the research instruments in the form of the results of the learning model, textbooks, student worksheets, assessment sheets, and learning implementation plans scored good criteria. The direct learning model with a life-based learning approach is suitable for use as a learning model in improving student learning outcomes. This can be shown by the validity of the instrument.

This study aims to produce a direct learning model with a life-based learning approach that is feasible, practical, and effective to improve the learning outcomes of students at Morris Sidoarjo. This research method uses the Dick and Carey development model with the one-group pretest-posttest design research design. The data collection process was carried out using observation, questionnaires, and giving tests to students. The research instruments obtained were student activity questionnaires, student response questionnaires, learning observation sheets, and student learning outcomes tests. The sample of this research is 20 students at the Morris Sidoarjo course. The research indicated that the direct learning model with a life-based learning approach was practical in its use to improve course participants' learning outcomes at Morris Sidoarjo in the Yogyakarta, which was shown by the excellent category of learning and activity of students. Second, the direct learning model with a life-based learning approach is effective in improving the learning outcomes of course participants at Morris Sidoarjo in the Yogyakarta, which is shown by the results of the calculation of the N-Gain test showing an increase in learning outcomes with a value of 0.8 in the high category. From these results, the model built with a life-based learning approach can be implied as an alternative and reference for developing learning models in course institutions.

This study aims to determine: 1) The difference between the effect of direct and indirect learning methods to an increase in male's triple jump at the class XI student of SMA Negeri I Polokarto Sukoharjo; 2) Learning that has a better effect between direct and indirect learning on the increase in triple jumps in male students of class XI student of SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto Sukoharjo. The research method used is the experimental method, the namely experimental activity which begins with giving treatment to the subject which ends with a form of test to determine the effect of the treatment that has been given. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The population in this study were male students of class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto Sukoharjo in the 2017/ 2018 academic year, totaling 71 students and then drawn with a random sampling technique to obtain 30 samples. Data analysis techniques were carried out by normality and homogeneity tests, to fulfill the assumptions about the results of the study conducted a different test. Based on the results of the study obtained the following conclusions: 1) There is a significant difference between the direct and indirect learning approaches to the ability of triple jump in male students of class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto Sukoharjo in academic year 2011/ 2012, with a calculated value tcount is 2,229 and ttable is 2.145 with a significance level of 5%; 2) Triple jump learning with the indirect learning approach has a better effect than the direct learning approach to the ability of triple jump in male students of class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Polokarto Sukoharjo in the academic year 2017/2018. Group 1 (direct learning) has an increase of 2.491%. While group 2 (indirect learning) has an increasing percentage of 6.820%.
