This research intends to study the conditions and problems of learning management in Mathematics for undergraduate students. The research problem is that students have low achievement and ability problem-solving in mathematics. The research method used is development through conducting preliminary studies and quantitative survey research, producing initial designs of integrative learning models. The results of this research were used to develop the mathematics learning model. The research was conducted over one year considering two groups. The first sample was collected from the group with 376 students studying mathematics in the academic year 2020. The second sample was collected from the group with 116 professors of public universities in Thailand. Questionnaires were used as a tool of the research. The data analysis was divided into two stages. The first stage was to analyze supporting factors with factor analysis. The second stage was to design the learning management of students and professors with regression analysis. The results have shown that the opinions of students and professors on conditions and problems of learning management can be summarized as follows: (1) The students’ arguments for corrections in the aspects were group learning and teamwork, steps of solving problems, a learning model that is real situations, and the problem-based learning, respectively. (2) The professors’ opinions for corrections in the aspects were student interaction, academic achievement, problem-based learning, and learning management model that is current situations, respectively. (3)The supporting factors for developing the learning management model that professors and students were consistent in solving problems. It was found that there were three main factors as follows; group learning, problem-based learning, and active learning. The learning management model should be developed by integrating group learning, problem-based learning, and mathematical problem-solving to enhance problem-solving and mathematics learning achievement.

AbstractEarly childhood mathematics education is one of compulsory subjects for undergraduate students of PGPAUD Universitas Dharmas Indonesia. Researcher as well as lecturer pengampu this subject, using the method of lecturing and question and answer at the meeting to one to the fourth. However, according to researcher observations, students are less active to ask and express opinions. On the one hand the author realizes the potential of the students is very large because students who take this course in the academic year 2016/2017, most of the teachers PAUD spread across several districts in Bungo, Dharmasraya, Kerinci and Sijunjung who have minimal experience Two years of teaching. The author tries to apply student learning model facilitator and explaining for the fifth to seventh meeting, and make observations to see the effect on student activeness. The research design used a one-pretest-posttest design. The hypothesis was tested using paired sample t test with SPSS 20 software. The author used 95% confidence level. From the results of data analysis obtained value of significance of 0.01. So it can be concluded that there is influence of applying student learning model facilitator and explaining on early childhood mathematics education subject to the liveliness of PGPAUD students of Universitas Dharmas Indonesia.Keyword: Explaining, Learning Model, PGPAUD, Student Facilitator.

Flipped Classroom’ has become more popular in higher education for encouraging self-learning enthusiasm. This research aims to propose a learning process model of flipped classroom to develop research skill by applying critical inquiry theory in the instructional design to develop thinking, finding answer and research skills which are the key competency for conducting a research. The research methodology was divided into two phases: the first phase included literature review to develop the learning process model, the second phase included learning model suitability evaluation by expert. The results showed that experts have strongly agreed with the learning model. We anticipate that our flipped classroom model which has divided into 3 phase included <br /> pre-class, in-class and after-class phases with the addition of thinking skill development activity by using critical inquiry technics could be used for reference for teachers on planning and implementing instructional activities to enhance the research skill of undergraduate students

This paper aims to discuss the challenges of higher education regarding the relationship between the university and the individual in the era of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). It proposes a new teaching-learning model that allows establishing an educational and transformative communication between university-student. Therefore, it is imperative to consider that technology by itself adds little to the construction of new knowledge and, in this sense, the university can wave towards the establishment of a new paradigm in the education-student relation. In order to justify this proposal, this paper will analyze how the course “Theory and Method of Research in Communication, taught in face-to-face format for the undergraduate students of the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo, will be converted into a distance-learning course. This conversion will contribute with the formation of new researchers in the scientific field and consequently with the democratization of knowledge. As it can be observed, the mass use of the e-learning modality in Brazil presents itself as a potential tool for consolidating this new teaching-learning model, when associated with the communication process
