This research intends to study the conditions and problems of learning management in Mathematics for undergraduate students. The research problem is that students have low achievement and ability problem-solving in mathematics. The research method used is development through conducting preliminary studies and quantitative survey research, producing initial designs of integrative learning models. The results of this research were used to develop the mathematics learning model. The research was conducted over one year considering two groups. The first sample was collected from the group with 376 students studying mathematics in the academic year 2020. The second sample was collected from the group with 116 professors of public universities in Thailand. Questionnaires were used as a tool of the research. The data analysis was divided into two stages. The first stage was to analyze supporting factors with factor analysis. The second stage was to design the learning management of students and professors with regression analysis. The results have shown that the opinions of students and professors on conditions and problems of learning management can be summarized as follows: (1) The students’ arguments for corrections in the aspects were group learning and teamwork, steps of solving problems, a learning model that is real situations, and the problem-based learning, respectively. (2) The professors’ opinions for corrections in the aspects were student interaction, academic achievement, problem-based learning, and learning management model that is current situations, respectively. (3)The supporting factors for developing the learning management model that professors and students were consistent in solving problems. It was found that there were three main factors as follows; group learning, problem-based learning, and active learning. The learning management model should be developed by integrating group learning, problem-based learning, and mathematical problem-solving to enhance problem-solving and mathematics learning achievement.

This article is based on the fact that problem-solving is a basic skill that every student should possess. To improve the student`s mindset through the effort to find problem-solving independently, so the learning activities should be centered on the students. The purpose of this study is to determine the comparison and improvement of students mathematical problem-solving abilities, as well as student attitudes toward the learning model problem-centered learning and problem-based learning. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with purposive sampling. The first experimental class that was class VIII I that got problem-centered learning model as much as 31 students, and the second experimental class that was class VIII H who got the problem-based learning model as many as 31 students. From the research and statistical calculations result, obtained the conclusion that the mathematical problem-solving ability students who got the model centered learning problem was better than students who got the model of learning problem-based learning. Meanwhile, for improvement of problem-solving abilities of mathematical students who got the learning model problem-centered learning and problem based learning each intermediate interpretation. And generally, the students’ attitude to the learning of mathematics by using the learning model problem-centered learning and problem-based learning are well interpreted.

This research aims to implement the Problem Based Learning model to improve students’ problem solving skill which can be identified from the mathematics learning outcomes. Experimental research is conducted in Focus Independent School Primary School by taking a control class of 15 students and an experiment class of 16 students as the samples. The result of the pretest done at the beginning of the research shows that the experiment class hasa greater average score compared to the control class. The experiment class has an average score of 76.16 while other class reaches 75.64. By having different treatments; control class with conventional model and experiment class with problem based learning model, we may conlude that the students in the experiment class have produced better results than those in the control class. The average scores in both classes, control and experiment classes, are 78.50 and 82.03 with deviation standards of 13.120 and 12.623. The control class has a minimum score of 52.50 and maximum score of 97.50, while the experiment class scores a minimum mark of 60 and maximum mark of 100. It shows that the problem based learning model is more effective to be implemented in the class than the conventional one. Students are given more chances to develop their problem solving skill by exploring for more knowledge and searching for solutions for the problems occurred.
