Systematic Review: The Effectiveness of Therapy Comparison between Ivermectin with permetrin Therapy in Scabies TreatmentScabies, a skin disease caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei, is the third most common disease in Indonesia. The recommended first-line treatment is 5% permetrin cream and another treatment according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is oral ivermectin at a dose of 200 mcg/kg body weight, two doses 14 days apart. The method used is a systematic review with a randomized control trial research design in accordance with the inclusion criteria and screening using the eligibility criteria. The results obtained: 3 journals regarding the effectiveness of ivermectin and permetrin which stated that a single dose of ivermectin provided a cure rate at 2 week intervals, two applications of permetrin at one-week intervals have high effective values; 4 journals stated that topical 5% permetrin showed faster improvement in the first week of follow-up;  1 journal stated that ivermectin applications were as effective as two applications of 2.5% permetrin cream at 2 weeks follow-up. After repeating the treatment, ivermectin is as effective as 2.5% permetrin cream. The conclusion is that giving both can cure scabies. Twice application of permetrin at one-week intervals was considered more effective than single dose ivermectin and the patient recovered earlier. Two doses of ivermectin are as effective as a single application of permetrin.

Background: To assess differences in marginal bone loss in implants placed at subcrestal versus crestal level. Methods: An electronic and a manual research of articles written in English from Jaunary 2010 to January 2018 was performed by two independent reviewers. Clinical trials comparing bone loss for implants placed at crestal and subcrestal level were included. Pooled estimates from comparable studies were analyzed using a continuous random-effects model meta-analysis with the objective of assessing differences in crestal bone loss between the two vertical positions. Results: 16 studies were included; 10 studies did not encounter statistically significant differences between the two groups with respect to bone loss. Three articles found greater bone loss in subcrestal implants; while 3 found more bone loss in crestal implants. A meta-analysis for randomized control trial (RCT) studies reported an average and non-statistically different crestal bone loss of 0.028 mm. Conclusions: A high survival rate and a comparable bone loss was obtained both for crestal and subcrestal implants’ placement. Quantitative analysis considering a homogenous sample confirms that both vertical positions are equally valid in terms of perimplant bone loss. However, with respect to soft tissue; in presence of a thin tissue; a subcrestal placement of the implant should be preferred as it may reduce the probability for the implant to become exposed in the future and thus avoid the risk of suffering from peri-implant pathologies.

ABSTRAK Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Indonesia pada tahun 2015 belum sesuai target WHO melalui MDG’s. Masih tingginya angka kematian ibu masih didominasi penyebab langsung yaitu perdarahan sebesar 32%. Kata kunci “women of child bearing age, preconception care, maternal and child health” digunakan untuk mempermudah pencarian literatur. ABSTRACT The reduction of maternal mortality rate in Indonesia in 2015 was still below the target of WHO through MDG’s. The high mortality rate was dominated by the direct cause, namely: bleeding as much as 32%. Preconception care has a positive impact on the reduction of maternal mortality rate. Preconception care starts since adolescence until before conception. All this time, the needs of preconception program has not been considered maximally. The objective of this literature study is to display the results of researches on how preconception care has direct and indirect impacts on the maternal mortality rate. This literature study employed the study of the results of researches on preconception which had been published 2010 until 2015 in the electronic media. The keywords of “preconception care, maternal mortality rate (MMR)” were used to search the intended literatures. The inclusive criteria of the study were the searched articles in Indonesian and in English; the researches employed systematic review, Randomized Control Trial (RCT), and qualitative phenomenological approach. Preconception care had positive impacts on female health since adolescence until preconception and conception. The preconception care which was conducted well had an impact on the reduction of maternal mortality rate. The searching by using the keywords found 503 articles, 5 articles fulfilled the criteria for further study. In conclusion, preconception care is a continuum care which includes preconception care, antenatal care, intra-natal, and postnatal care. The preconception has an impact on the following phases. The good preconception will have an impact on the pre-conception, antenatal period, intra-natal period, and postnatal period. Thus, optimization of preconception care is very important in the nursing services.   Keywords: preconception care, maternal mortality rate, maternal health improvement

Programs for college students with physical disabilities began in the immediate post-war period, as veterans with disabilities were the “vanguard” disability group in higher education. However, while veterans with physical disabilities were the beginning of the postsecondary disability field, the discipline currently focuses on students with many and varied disability types in both its research and practice.  This article presents a secondary analysis, which was part of a larger systematic review of the postsecondary disability literature. The present article focuses on studies including at least one participant with a physical disability.  In total eighty studies had at least one student with a physical disability.  Two of these studies were experimental and only one of these two met the criteria to be a randomized control trial. A minority of studies was composed solely of college students with physical disabilities.
