Developing Learning Model Base On PMR Approach at Senior High School to Improve Student’s Motivation

AbstractThis research is based on the low outcomes of class XI students on their chemistry subject. Therefore, the experiment research by pretest and posttest to discover the effect of cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) by using Handout toward learning outcomes of State Senior High School 1 Kampar on salt hydrolysis is conducted. The subject of this research is the students of class XI Mia in 2015-2016 year by using 2 classroom samples: XI Mia 1 (exsperiment) dan XI Mia 4 (control). The data was collected by using observation, initial test (homogeneity), final test (pretest and postest), and documentation. To discover the effect of the model on learning outcomes, the formula of Kp is applied. The effect differences are analyzed by t-test sampel related. The analysis result of initial and final data is t-counting = 2.325 and t-table = 1,68 in the significant rate of 5%. The value of t-counting > t-table, therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is the effect of cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) by using handout toward learning outcomes of State Senior High School 1 Kampar on salt hydrolysis by the effect as much as 7.8%. AbstractThis research was instigated by the low of students creative thinking ability at State Senior High School 1 Perhentian Raja. This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing Guided Inquiry learning model with student workbook toward student creative thinking ability on Colloid lesson at State Senior High School 1 Perhentian Raja. It was Quasi Experimental research. Simple Random Sampling technique was used in this research. The samples comprised two classes, the eleventh-grade students of Natural Science 1 that were 33 students as the Control group and the students of Natural Science 2 that were 32 studentsas the Experimental group. The techniques of collecting the data were tests in the form of homogeneity test as the preliminary data, pretest and posttest as the final data, observation, and documentation. The instrument of this research was creative thinking ability test in the form of essay with the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The pretest and posttest data were analyzed by using t test at 5% significant level. The research findings showed that there was a significant effect of implementing Guided Inquiry learning model with student workbook toward student creative thinking ability on Colloid lesson that t was 4.268 and the score of Sig. This research aims to improve senior high school students’ physics problem-solving skills through learning used IBMR learning model. This research was a pre-an experimental study with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The Methods of data collection used validation and test. The materials used to teach were valid category by two experts and can be used to practice physics problem-solving skills. The average post-test score physics problem-solving ability was 73.24 with an N-gain of 0.59 was classified as moderate. The success of IBMR learning model-based devices in practicing problem-solving abilities can be seen in the increase in the average score in each indicator of problem-solving abilities. The indicator of understanding the problem had the highest post-test average score of 94.58 with an N-gain of 0.89 in the high category. The problem-solving indicator had the lowest posttest average score was 58.22 with N-gain 0.39 and mean that it was the moderate category. Based on the results study, it can be concluded that the learning used by IBMR learning model can practice the ability to solve physics problems on heat material and its displacement. This research was design to know the effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The question of the research was “Is there an effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency? The objective of the research was to find out the data whether the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The significant of the research was expected the model can be used as reference learning model to improve the students’ English ablility.<strong> </strong>The design of the research was pre-experimental design. The research was conducted at the first-class students of Senior High School 1 Wundulako in Kolaka District. The data were collected by using English test which given at the pre-test and the post-test.<strong> </strong>In analysed the students’ test result, which the mean score of pre-test was 33,8806 and the mean score of post-test was 69,4058, while the t-table 18,55>2,042 t-test. Its mean that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility. Refering to the findings and discussions of the research, it can be concluded that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. It was based on the mean score in pre-test and post-test.Based on the conclusion of the research, the researcher suggests to the teacher, especially English teacher in Kolaka Regency to use learning model multimedia-based in teaching and learning process to improve the students’ English ability.
