The present study deals with the development of remote control system based on the Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) technology for switching the low voltage AC power supply system at residential consumer. Function of this system is to disconnect and reconnect the electricity supply to consumers. The introduction of the GSM technology and particularly the use of hand-held mobile phones has brought the innovative distance communication to remote locations. This utilization of this technology for the remote control of systems and appliances will make life easier, safe and quick from anywhere. GSM module was used for receiving short message service (SMS) from user’s mobile phone that automatically enable the controller to take any further action such as to switch on and off the consumer load at the incoming power supply. The system was integrated with microcontroller and GSM network interface using assembly language. AVR Studio 4 software was utilized to accomplish the integration. The system is activated when user sends the SMS to GSM controller circuit at electric meter consumption panel board. Upon receiving the SMS command, the microcontroller unit then automatically controls the incoming power supply by switching on or off the device according to the user command. In other words, the developed system reads message from the mobile phone and responds to control the devices according to the received message. The system can also give feedback to the user to inform the status of switching operation if such command is received.

In the early days of photography, camera movement was a nuisance that could blur a picture. Once movement becomes measurable by micro-mechanical means, the effects can be compensated by optical, mechanical or digital technology to enhance picture quality. Alternatively movement can be quantified by processing image streams. This opens up for new functionality upon convergence of the camera and the mobile phone, for instance by ’actively extending the hand’ for remote control and interactive signage.

This paper studied the traditional supervisory control and data acquisition and investigates what is the most important in pipeline gas management system. Then a novel scheme is proposed for remote control interface on pipeline gas providing management. This scheme introduced GPRS and internet network technology to the traditional supervisory control and data acquisition. The details of System topological structure is given and Remote control interface structure are listed. At last, the system performance is analyzed and the results indicate that pipeline gas management system using remote control interface has the excellent protection performance and operability of RCI. It can meet the demand of intelligent home and intelligent building.

With the rise of the Internet of Things, Android phones with its unique advantage of being open for us to provide more quality and convenient technological achievements. The research is based on the Android mobile phone Bluetooth controlled smart car design, based on mobile platforms, by means of Bluetooth technology, design and implementation of a wireless remote control car new solutions. Control platform designed for mobile phones, Bluetooth communication module, motor drive modules and other hardware modules remote control car. Realize the car forward, backward, turn left in front, front right turn after turn left, turn right after the other real-time control functions. For the remote control toy car design presents a new way of thinking, and can for the future smart home remote control designed to provide some reference value.

This projects aims to provide an information system to search for the important address in Padang. The important address in Padang still use the phone book (yellow  pages),  but  not  everyone can  use and  have it.  In  the  search  for  the important address in Padang, not everyone has a mobile phone that can access the internet and if using a mobile phone, it will need the charge. As well as in the search for important addresses in Padang, not everyone can call the operator, and call the operator also takes the charge. Because of that problem, this application created with no internet service, so it does not cost money. This mobile application system can provide information such as text display with detailed  address  and  phone  numbers  and  addresses  an  important  route  in Padang. The starting address point is from Padang’s Market because a lot of public transport with the important addresses major roads in Padang is passing along this way. The mobile application comes with a list of important address like Mosques, Hospitals, Hotels, Universities and Government Offices which contain such as info address, phone number and the address route to search the important address for the application’s user. This robot gives students a chance to develop the ir creativity and skills. The remote control system was designedwith the possibility of using a mobile phone. The existing vehicle alarms with remote control are facing security challenges due to their own characteristics. Their security mechanism should take into account both the security and the system performance. Authentication is an elementary protocol in constructing a secure system. A new authentication scheme is proposed here, in which a remote control becomes effective after it is certified by the owner’s mobile phone, and then its registration information is stored in the vehicle alarm. In addition, the mobile phone can make the remote control lose its effectiveness by sending signal to the alarm. The authentication scheme settles the problem of security which is caused by the remote control lost or stolen.
