Abstract When the operation and maintenance station performs cable maintenance, installation measures, etc., due to the lack of direct and effective tools, and the complicated wiring of the operation and maintenance station equipment, the wiring diagram is inconsistent with the actual situation, which brings risks to the removal of waste cables. As an indispensable safety tool in the power industry, the cable identification device is an important means to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel. In view of the current situation, this paper analyzes the electric field around the cable line of the operation and maintenance station, and simplifies the simulation of the line, and proposes a secondary cable identification device based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, which can quickly identify the target cable, which greatly improves the cable identification performance. Efficiency reduces the time for cable identification and improves safety.

Due to the complexity of the router, its professional configuration leads to the phenomenon that operation and maintenance personnel of the information systems can not be competent for the configuration tasks. In order to lower the practitioner threshold of their operating and maintenance personnel, a WYSIWYG router configuration software in graphical interface needs to be developed. With the reduced quality requirements of employees, the main functions of the router configuration are achieved. This article describes the development and design of this kind of configuration software.

The design and implementation of key technologies for monitoring the operation and maintenance of the information systems in the power companies are analyzed. The IT monitoring techniques based on open architecture are thoroughly investigated. A prototype of the auxiliary systems for monitoring the operation and maintenance of the information system (MOMIS) is proposed. Experiments are carried out to verity its effectiveness. Experimental results show that the proposed system can rapidly locate the faults in the information system and achieve automatic recovery, enabling the operation and maintenance personnel to better manage the information system. Hence, there is a bright prospect of its application.

With the continuous development of cloud computing technology, the size of database clusters is getting larger and larger. The database resources in existing power systems need to be manually deployed, which puts great pressure on operation and maintenance personnel. Therefore, resource orchestration and automatic deployment are proposed and realized. This method implements a visual orchestration interface through the GoJS framework, establishes a deployment template, uses Spring template to encapsulate task execution scripts, orchestrates database instances, high-availability standby machines, and logical replication at one time, simplifying the deployment process. Practice shows that this method can be effective Reduce deployment time and improve work efficiency.

Electric field assisted combustion is an important means to improve fuel combustion efficiency. This paper conducts extensive research on flame characteristics under different forms and different application methods of electric fields, emission of soot particles and simulation status. Different flame parameter measurement methods will lead to different degrees of error, and perfect numerical simulation can make simple predictions on experimental data. Most of the current numerical simulations are in two dimensions, and it is necessary to develop a complete and accurate three-dimensional model to simulate and predict the characteristics of the flame under an electric field. The emission of soot particles is also affected by the electric field, and reasonable electric field parameters can greatly reduce the emission of soot particles. It is recommended to conduct centralized measurement of different fuels under the electric field under high pressure and temperature conditions, so as to be able to develop a wider and more accurate flame dynamics and chemical model under the electric field.

Abstract In order to meet the requirements of the operation and maintenance personnel for the power metering system software, when updating the software version, they can independently, quickly and effectively control the quality of the software, an intelligent test platform is designed. Based on the platform, the software operation and maintenance personnel can simply select the corresponding records from the test scripts, test cases and automatic test tools in database debugged by the third-party test team, create the test plan, click the execute button, the platform will automatically connect the selected test tool, intelligently generate a set of executable command lines, to complete the functionality or performance test of the software using the selected test script and test case, and to create the reports of software defects, then a software development team repairs the defects and then the personnel performs regression testing until the new version meets the requirements.

In the power industry, many companies are trying to improve Equipment Reliability by focusing on Performance Monitoring and the application of diagnostic technologies. Software tools are focused on performing detailed technical analysis and trending of diagnostic parameters. The diagnostic data is often stored in archival databases that can track this data for many years. However, the analysis results generated by engineering and maintenance personnel are often stored outside the diagnostic tools in various databases, spreadsheets, and word documents. This valuable information is then difficult to track, trend, and then recall when a similar event occurs in the future. The paper will focus on developed and implemented web-based tools that facilitate tracking, trending, and sharing these analysis results across sites and enterprises. This paper further discusses implementation details and demonstrates the value of incorporating this information seamlessly into existing as well as developing condition monitoring programs.

In this chapter, the transition from time-independent to time-dependent source densities and fields is made. It is here that Faraday’s famous nineteenth-century experiments on electromagnetic induction are first encountered. This important phenomenon—whereby a changing magnetic field produces an induced electric field (whose curl is now no longer zero)—forms the basis of most of the questions and solutions which follow. Some new and interesting examples—not usually found in other textbooks—are introduced. These are treated both from an analytical and numerical point of view. Also considered here is the standard yet important topic (at least from a practical standpoint) of mutual and self-inductance. Several questions deal with this concept.

Through the application research of expert system shell ESTA, We have established a transformer condition evaluation expert system(ES) based on ESTA and corporate standards of State Grid (Q/GDW 169-2008) «Guide forCondition Evaluation of Oil-immersed Power Transformers (Reactors) ». Knowledge Base consists of several sections, parameters, rules in the evaluation of state variables, components and transformers. The value of the transformer condition evaluation expert system is that it supports and enhances the operation and maintenance personnel work, guidance (less experienced) the operation and maintenance personnel to understand the basic process of transformer condition evaluation. The application show that the system is effective and practical.
