Abstract Good nutrition and water conditions are significant in a hydroponic system. Nutrients in hydroponic systems are periodically re-mixed to target the right amount of TDS. The TDS amount needs to be regularly measured after the weather changes, namely temperature, humidity, light intensity, and rainfall. The research proposes developing a solar-powered Internet of Things (IoT) based Smart Hydroponic Nutrition Management System using Fuzzy Association Rule Mining (FARM). The system consists of an IoT connected to a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) sensor, a relay module connected to two 5v mini pumps that supply AB Mix nutrients, and a solenoid valve to supply water. The IoT system is also connected to sensors for temperature and humidity, light intensity, and rainfall to record the causes of weather changes that cause changes in TDS in hydroponic water. FARM is used to extract fuzzy association rules (FAR) from IoT sensors. The system targets a TDS of 1200 for leafy plants such as lettuce. The system prototype was developed in a small 5×7cm single layer PCB using the wire-wrapping technique. The test results produce a standard deviation of 2.345 for the TDS average of 1196.17 and threshold 50. In one week of evaluation, three times of rain and four times of hot weather were considered to change the TDS, and seven actions of the relay module were carried out. FARM has extracted fuzzy rules with average support of 0.401 and confidence of 0.826.

Background: Trapa natans L., is annual aquatic plant generally kwon as Water caltrp, Water chest nut belonging to the Trapaceae or Lytraceae family. Trapa natans L is use for the treatment of wide no of diseases without proper standardization. Objective: To give the right pharmacognostical and photochemical information of the Trapanatan L leaves. In this study pharmacognostical investigation of the fresh leaves and powder drug were done to determine the macroscopical, microscopical, quantitative physicochemical and phytochemical property of the drugs. Method: Macroscopical, quantitative and qualitative microscopy, physicochemical evaluation, extractive value, florescence analysis and phytochemical analysis were done according to the WHO guideline. Result: Macroscopical analysis showed that, leaves are greenish to purplish color, rhomboidal shape; alternate, acute, margin is dentate, pinnate venation. Microscopic evaluation showed that leaf is dorsi ventral in nature, upper layer epidermis cells were covered with cuticle layer. Single layer of barrel shape cell were present bellow the upper epidermis layer. Trichomes are generally multicellular. Anomocytic stomata were observed in upper epidermis. From the experiment it was found that methanolic extract give the highest extractive value. Phytochemical analysis gives the evidence for the presence of carbohydrate, alkaloids, glycoside, steroids, flavonoids, tannin, and triterpenoids. Qualitative phytochemical analysis give the evidence for presence of high amount total phenolic content. Conclusion: Different pharmacognostical parameters assessed in this examination help to detection and standardization of Trapa natans L., leaves.

Drying clothes is one of the daily activities of people who use solar energy. With these conditions, people are very dependent on weather conditions that are sometimes erratic. One of the right ways is by utilizing technology, namely using an automatic clothesline using a Wemos D1Mini microcontroller, equipped with an LDR sensor that will read light intensity and the DHT11 sensor will read humidity and temperature around the environment. This tool is also based on the Internet of Things which can be accessed from anywhere as long as it is connected to the internet. The protection of intellectual property (IP) is a crucial area to support the development process of any country, as it is in this context that the biggest strategic disputes are taking place. In recent years Brazil has developed some actions to achieve greater efficiency in the public IP management system, but are we on the right track? The present study seeks to present answers regarding the performance of Brazil and to highlight the advances and challenges regarding the IP system. The methodological approach was structured based on a review in the literature, highlighting the scientific, economic and technological indicators on the development of IP and the main IP objects registered with the Brazilian national intellectual property body (INPI) in the period of 2013 to 2016, in the areas of patents, trademarks, industrial design, computer program, circuit topography, technology contracts and geographical indication.

Emerging lighting technologies provide opportunities for reducing carbon footprints, and for biodiversity conservation. In addition to installing light-emitting diode street lights, many local authorities are also dimming street lights. This might benefit light-averse bat species by creating dark refuges for these bats to forage and commute in human-dominated habitats. We conducted a field experiment to determine how light intensity affects the activity of the light-opportunistic Pipistrellus pipistrellus and light-averse bats in the genus Myotis. We used four lighting levels controlled under a central management system at existing street lights in a suburban environment (0, 25, 50 and 100% of the original output). Higher light intensities (50 and 100% of original output) increased the activity of light-opportunistic species but reduced the activity of light-averse bats. Compared to the unlit treatment, the 25% lighting level did not significantly affect either P. pipistrellus or Myotis spp. Our results suggest that it is possible to achieve a light intensity that provides both economic and ecological benefits by providing sufficient light for human requirements while not deterring light-averse bats.

In this paper, a composite fuzzy association rule mining mechanism (CFARM), directed at identifying patterns in datasets comprised of composite attributes, is described. Composite attributes are defined as attributes that can take simultaneously two or more values that subscribe to a common schema. The objective is to generate fuzzy association rules using “properties” associated with these composite attributes. The exemplar application is the analysis of the nutrients contained in items found in grocery data sets. The paper commences with a review of the back ground and related work, and a formal definition of the CFARM concepts. The CFARM algorithm is then fully described and evaluated using both real and synthetic data sets.

Building up a knowledge management system is a commonly arising challenge in managing organizations. Leaders need to change their leadership style in order for their organization to be successful, in accordance with the requirements of building and operating a knowledge management system. The aim of this chapter is to sketch the necessity of the change and the right leaders' behavior.
