The Clifford algebra for the group of rigid body motions is described. Linear elements, that is points, lines and planes are identified as homogeneous elements in the algebra. In each case the action of the group of rigid motions on the linear elements is found. The relationships between these linear elements are found in terms of operations in the algebra. That is, incidence relations, the conditions for a point to lie on a line for example are found. Distance relations, like the distance between a point and a plane are found. Also the meet and join of linear elements, for example, the line determined by two planes and the plane defined by a line and a point, are found. Finally three examples of the use of the algebra are given: a computer graphics problem on the visibility of the apparent crossing of a pair of lines, an assembly problem concerning a double peg-in-hole assembly, and a problem from computer vision on finding epipolar lines in a stereo vision system.

In a previous study, Allen video-enhanced constrast/differential interference constrast (AVEC-DIC) microscopy was used in conjunction with immunofluorescence microscopy to demonstrate that organelles and vesicle move in either direction along linear elements composed of microtubules. However, this study was limited in that the number of microtubules making up a linear element could not be determined. To overcome this limitation, we have used AVEC-DIC microscopy in conjunction with whole mount electron microscopy.Keratocytes from Rana pipiens were grown on glass coverslips as described elsewhere. Gold London Finder grids were Formvar- and carbon coated, and sterilized by exposure to ultraviolet light. It is important to select a Formvar film that gives a grey reflection when it is floated on water. A silver film is too thick and will detract from the image in the light microscope.

In the research of intelligent sports vision systems, the stability and accuracy of vision system target recognition, the reasonable effectiveness of task assignment, and the advantages and disadvantages of path planning are the key factors for the vision system to successfully perform tasks. Aiming at the problem of target recognition errors caused by uneven brightness and mutations in sports competition, a dynamic template mechanism is proposed. In the target recognition algorithm, the correlation degree of data feature changes is fully considered, and the time control factor is introduced when using SVM for classification,At the same time, this study uses an unsupervised clustering method to design a classification strategy to achieve rapid target discrimination when the environmental brightness changes, which improves the accuracy of recognition. In addition, the Adaboost algorithm is selected as the machine learning method, and the algorithm is optimized from the aspects of fast feature selection and double threshold decision, which effectively improves the training time of the classifier. Finally, for complex human poses and partially occluded human targets, this paper proposes to express the entire human body through multiple parts. The experimental results show that this method can be used to detect sports players with multiple poses and partial occlusions in complex backgrounds and provides an effective technical means for detecting sports competition action characteristics in complex backgrounds.

This survey outlines the use of computer vision in Image and video processing in multidisciplinary applications; either in academia or industry, which are active in this field.The scope of this paper covers the theoretical and practical aspects in image and video processing in addition of computer vision, from essential research to evolution of application.In this paper a various subjects of image processing and computer vision will be demonstrated ,these subjects are spanned from the evolution of mobile augmented reality (MAR) applications, to augmented reality under 3D modeling and real time depth imaging, video processing algorithms will be discussed to get higher depth video compression, beside that in the field of mobile platform an automatic computer vision system for citrus fruit has been implemented ,where the Bayesian classification with Boundary Growing to detect the text in the video scene. Corneal topography is the main method for assessing the regularity of the surface of the cornea. Corneal irregularity leads to a deterioration in its refractive properties and a decrease in the quality of vision. Learning the basics of corneal topography will help determine the choice of a color map for a specific situation, as well as understand and analyze the data associated with these maps. This article describes the main types of topographic maps, various patterns of corneal shape in normal and pathological conditions and how to use the data obtained to design and fit contact lenses. Despite the fact that images may vary depending on topographers used, the information presented in this article is universal.
