Abstract With the development of digital instrument and control technology for nuclear power plants in recent decades, communication networks have become an important part of safety digital control systems, which takes charge in data exchange between the various sub-systems, and extremely impact on the reliability and safety of the entire I&C system. Traditional communication systems where some special features, such as reliability, safety, real-time, certainty, and independence are not strictly required are various illustrated. However, how to implement a communication system in a safety I&C system is rarely stated in current research. In this research, a reliable safety communication system applied in nuclear power plants is designed and analyzed. The five key characteristics of nuclear safety communication networks are explained, followed by explanation of how to achieve these characteristics. The analysis and verification of the designed system are also stated in this paper, which contributes to proving that the designed nuclear safety communication system could applied in the nuclear power plants.

A model of wireless network data interchange was built to solve cross-platform exchange data in intelligent robot. In the framework of embedded Soft-PLC - Codesys real-time operating system, we apply Socket network programming technology based on TCP/IP communication protocol to set up a physical channel between VC++ platform and the Codesys platform. It realizes the real-time data exchange between host-computer and slave-computer uploaded embedded operation system of robot. A special multi-threaded processing class was developed to enhance the multi-tasking allocation ability of the system. Exchanged data was packaged and analyzed to ensure the accuracy of transmitted data. The experiment shows built communication system platform is justifiable, and data transmission speed is less than 10ms. It is able to meet the needs of real-time control in intelligent robot.

GM Hotels. Marsaringar Balige is a company engaged in hospitality services. During this time the reservation system at GM Hotels. Marsaringar Balige is still manual, such as booking rooms, recording guest data, and data from each part not yet integrated such as restaurant data, ballroom, karaoke, and making reports still using Microsoft Excel office applications. One effort to improve the quality of hospitality services at GMs. Marsaringar Balige is by utilizing information technology, namely by designing an Android-based Hotel Reservation Information System. Is the right solution to overcome the problems of hotel managerial data processing needs that are dynamic and can be accessed through websites or mobile devices. Mobile devices integrated with the web are one of the right choices for processing hotel information systems. A user / guest can get information by making a request from an application that was previously installed on an android smartphone to the database. All data exchange processes are stored on the web server. And the HotelGM Reservation Information System. Android-based Marsaringar Balige is built using the PHP programming language, Eclipse is supporting software for Android mobile, and Phpmyadmin as a tool for managing Mysql database, and Text editor using Macromedia Dreamweaver8.

Abstract In the maritime Very High Frequency (VHF) band, there are no systems for transmitting large amounts of data. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new systems that would modernize the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), significantly relieve the Automatic Identification System’s (AIS) communication channels, and set guidelines for the development of communication infrastructure of the e-Navigation. In line with this, analytical and simulation models of the maritime VHF data transmission communication system using Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) modulation are worked out in this paper. The achieved data rate, the spectral efficiency and the bit error rate (BER) represent validation parameters on which the results of the analytical and simulation models are evaluated. It is concluded that the application of the digital OFDM modulation in the maritime VHF band may improve the GMDSS system by achieving higher data rates compared to the current terrestrial mandatory systems for data exchange, i.e. Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and AIS.

One of the main directions of information systems development is to increase the efficiency of collecting, processing and exchanging information through the introduction of modern data transfer technologies, automated remote monitoring and control. The cornerstone of this concept is mobile devices that solve the issue of operational data exchange and processing. Modern mobile services used including the exchange and processing of personalized, banking and critical data are the result of the steady increase in the number of crimes in the field of information security in relation to and using mobile devices. The widespread use of these devices for access to protected information contained in information systems has given special importance to the issue of information security. The subject of this research is to assess the current state of information security mechanisms for mobile operating systems that form the basis of the structure of episodic distributed mobile networks. The Android OS (operating system) was used as an example. The article discusses the problems of the development of a mobile ecosystem and methods aimed at solving them, the main vectors of malicious impact, ways of countering the means of static and dynamic analysis and modern protection mechanisms.

Pervasive healthcare systems are designed to support elderly and care-dependent people to live an independent life. Recent developments are driven by technological advances of wireless sensor networks and mobile devices, which ease their application in the health- and homecare domain. The integration into pervasive healthcare systems helps to improve the impact and the efficiency of eldercare, while keeping financial efforts at a moderate level. The importance of these issues leads to the development of systems covering situation-aware, ambient assisted living and health data exchange between care institutions and ambient assistant solutions. Various projects within the Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) domain have proven that remarkable results can be achieved by using wireless sensor technology and mobile devices for data collection, but there are still several problems concerning the exchange and integration of healthcare data. This chapter gives an overview about AAL, healthcare related standards, and state of the art approaches for data integration. In addition, best practice projects, which deal with patient-oriented care information, ambient assisted living, as well as ambient intelligence, are covered.
