This paper is to apply the concept of the destination image to a decision on warehouse storage location. With a proper transportation network, people in Manila could reach Clark in one to one and a half hours.  However, currently, the customers in Manila are reluctant to use the warehouse services in Clark.  One of the main concerns is on the unexpected travelling time. The objective of this paper is to explore whether people will consider Clark as an alternative destination for warehouse storage in Manila if there is a proper transportation network. The results of the three case studies confirm the model of the formation of the destination image being the information sources, experience, psychologically nature and socio-demographic characteristics. The results also confirm the influence of the linked transportation network to Clark as a destination image. It is concluded that propositions are supported, and literal replication is expected. With a properly linked transportation network, consumers are willing to consider Clark as a warehouse storage location. With a similar argument, Clark could be considered for other business and other economic activities if there is properly linked transportation network between Clark and Manila. Keywords- Destination image, linked transportation network, case study, Manila, Clark

Intelligent storage is an important element of intelligent logistics and a key development trend in modern warehousing and logistics. Based on the characteristics of flood control materials and their intelligent storage, this study established a flood control material storage location allocation model reflecting the multiple objectives of retrieval efficiency and shelf stability and used a weighting method to transform a multi-objective optimization problem into a single-objective optimization problem. We then used the facilities and equipment planning and storage location allocation in the intelligent storage area for provincial flood control materials at the Zhenjiang warehouse of the Jiangsu water conservancy and flood control material reserve center as a case study. Empirical analysis was performed and used the genetic algorithm and Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) software to optimize the storage location allocation of provincial flood prevention supplies at this warehouse, and it achieved effective results.

The general goal of warehouse management is to ensure the correct supply of materials to the production line. In this context, this document presents a supposed instance for a general problem of a raw materials warehouse with poor control of inventories and poor internal traceability. An internal material requirement planning (MRP) and storage location-allocation problem (SLAP) for sixty materials was used to supply the restocking store that provides for the production line, to see the materials with the highest turnover and to reassign the materials in the general warehouse to minimize the internal long-term logistics costs. As a result of the methodology, the company determines the products with the highest turnover in a variable demand environment. Also, the company reallocates these products in the warehouse of raw materials reducing logistics costs and supply in 100% on-time the stock store that, in turn, supplies the production line.

Class-based stereo warehouse storage policy distributes products among a number of classes and for each class it reserves a region within the storage area. In this paper, a genetic algorithm method of using the intersectant operation of chromosome repair and mutation operation of two-way movement detection is developed to solve an integer programming model for storage assignment. Computational experience on randomly generated data sets and an industrial case shows that improved genetic algorithm gives superior results than the genetic algorithm without improving for storage location assignment with ordering restriction.
