Silo storage is considered the best option for wheat storage. However, the storage losses in warehouse storage are also equivalent to silo storage of wheat when proper storage management practices are adopted and the Food Corporation of India (FCI) is the best example of a sustainable food storage system with only 0.3% storage losses in 3 years of wheat storage. The wheat procurement, storage, and distribution system of FCI is unique in the world and handles about 85 million tons of food grains annually by procuring from farmers at the guaranteed Minimum Support Price that meets certain quality standards. This article discusses the role of FCI in food security, warehouse storage management practice as a model, and storage loss level of wheat during storage.

Aim. This study aims to present the results of the conducted analytical research (review)  of the market of electric trolleys for warehouse purposes and a review of the Russian market of warehousing property.Tasks. The author examines the state of the Russian and international markets of warehouse trolleys along with a brief overview of the domestic market of warehousing property, which is directly related to the main topic, formulating conclusions about the advisability of including electric trolleys for warehousing purposes into a potential domestic electric transport platform.Methods. The author uses the methods of analysis and synthesis of information posted on the Internet, the method of expert evaluation, as well as materials of Russian and foreign authors.Results. It is established that electric trolleys for warehousing purposes are developed by manufacturing companies within the framework of a particular platform and that this is a promising market both on the global and national (Russian) scale. The study substantiates the urgency of creating a Russian platform for electric transport that would incorporate special warehouse equipment. Conclusions. The field of electric trolleys for warehousing purposes is potentially attractive from an economic perspective, i.e. the market for this equipment has good growth prospects in Russia and globally. The scientific and technical potential of the Russian Federation makes it possible to successfully create and implement a domestic platform for electric transport that would include an equipment division for warehousing needs. The presented study will be useful to anyone interested in electric transport, warehouse logistics, and platform solutions in these fields.

<p class="Abstrak">Permasalahan umum pada suatu organisasi berkembang adalah bagaimana mengelola aliran data yang masuk dengan cepat tetapi tetap memperhatikan keakuratan hasil informasinya. Masalah ini sering terjadi terutama pada perusahaan dibidang logistik yang memiliki resiko cukup besar ketika suplai barang dikelola masih menggunakan cara konvensional dengan tingkat kompleksitas tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi pendukung keputusan pemilihan gudang sehingga bisa mempersingkat waktu dalam proses pengelolaan barang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem informasi pendukung keputusan berdasarkan metode <em>Simple Additive Weighting</em> dalam penentuan gudang tempat penyimpanan barang. Dalam penelitian ini SAW berfungsi untuk melakukan pembobotan berdasarkan kriteria barang sehingga sistem dapat merekomendasikan gudang penyimpanan yang sesuai. Pengkodean sistem menggunakan <em>Single Page Application</em> dengan konsep <em>Model</em>, <em>View</em> dan <em>Controller</em>. Metode seperti ini mampu menghemat <em>bandwith</em> dan sangat cepat ketika diakses karena terdiri atas komponen individual yang dapat diganti atau diperbaharui secara independen, sehingga seluruh halaman tidak perlu dimuat ulang. Penelitian ini mengembangkan metode penjumlahan terbobot yang dikodekan ke dalam bahasa pemrograman dengan menyesuaikan kondisi aliran logistik dan kriteria barang. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam menentukan lokasi penyimpanan barang sesuai dengan jenisnya antara lain, masa penggunaan (C1), daya (C2), jumlah (C3) dan harga (C4) dengan bobot masing-masing sebesar 25%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini berhasil memberikan rekomendasi gudang tempat penyimpanan barang sesuai dengan jenisnya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan cara membandingkan hasil antara perhitungan manual dengan proses inputan sistem menggunakan <em>sample </em>yang sama yakni barang elektronik komputer. Perbandingan menunjukkan hasil yang sama yaitu merekomendasikan barang disimpan ke dalam gudang elektronik.</p><p class="Abstrak"> </p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p class="Abstrak"><em>A common problem in a developing organization is how to manage the incoming data flow quickly but still pay attention to the accuracy of the results of the information. This problem often occurs especially in organizations or companies in the field of logistics that have a significant risk when the supply of goods is managed using conventional methods with a high level of complexity. The purpose of this study is to produce an information system supporting warehouse selection decisions so as to shorten the time in the process of managing goods. The study was conducted by designing and implementing a decision support information system based on the Simple Additive Weighting method in determining the warehouse where the goods are stored. In this study SAW functions to do weighting based on the criteria of goods so that the system can recommend an appropriate warehouse</em><em>. The coding system uses Single Page Application with the concept of Model, View and Controller. This method saves bandwidth and is very fast when accessed because it consists of individual components that can be replaced or updated independently, so that the whole page does not need to be reloaded. This research develops a weighted sum method coded into a programming language by adjusting logistical flow conditions and item criteria. The</em><em> criteria used in determining the location of storage of goods according to their types include, period of use (C1), power (C2), amount (C3) and price (C4) with a weight of 25% each. The results showed that this system succeeded in providing recommendations for warehouse storage of goods according to its type. This is evidenced by comparing the results between manual calculations with the input system using the same sample of computer electronic goods. The comparison shows the same results, namely recommending the goods to be stored in an electronic warehouse.</em><em></em></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

The relevance of the publication is related to the high fire hazard of lighting products. Based on the analysis of fire statistics in the Russian Federation, it is shown that the lamps occupy the fifth place among all the types of electrical installations in terms of the number of fires, direct material damage from them, as well as the number of people perished. At the same time, the number of fires at storage facilities from electrical equipment for the period 2010–2019 is about 39 %, of which the lamps account for a third of all fires. One of the significant objective reasons for such unfavorable statistics is the large number of luminaires in operation at the facilities, as well as their wide assortment and many types of design on the application area. The article summarizes the experience of recent work carried out in the field of fire hazard research of various types of lamps used for the warehouse lighting in particular, the lamps with fluorescent lamps and incandescent lamps, LED lamps and high-pressure gas discharge lamps. The physical and technical causes and possible mechanisms of ignition of these electrical products are shown. As a result of the conducted research on the example of the two most common types of lamps used in the storage facilities (with incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps) a method for calculating the probability of fires from these products is proposed, which is fully consistent with the requirements of the current GOST 12.1.004—91 and becomes particularly relevant in the development of standards regulating fire-fighting requirements for lamps instead of GOST 17677—82, which became invalid in the Russian Federation in 2020.

In the field of modern logistics, automated warehousing is a very important subject. This paper discusses the layout principles of storage spaces in warehousing, lists different storage methods of goods, and studies how to use the TOPSIS method based on AHP (analytic hierarchy process), summarizes the detailed methods and steps, to find the optimal storage mode, and makes an effective example application of the storage mode of a warehouse management. The research in this paper is suitable for the method choice of similar type of automatic warehouse storage management. The TOPSIS analysis model based on AHP is easy to analyze and calculate, and has universality in the method choice of automatic warehouse storage management.
