Physical health promotion has always been a way for schools to pay close attention to and devote resources to their students’ development, physical fitness, and social adaptability. To promote the improvement of students’ overall physical quality, we must begin with the foundation and school physical education. This study proposes an improved K-means algorithm based on an analysis of the influencing factors of intelligent optimization of sports facilities and equipment on students’ health quality. Clustering analysis is carried out based on two groups of data classified as boys and girls, using the improved K-means algorithm. The findings reveal that the average change trend of physical fitness test items in each male cluster is generally similar, with a moderate change. The change in the average score of physical fitness test items for each cluster of girls in the group showed two distinct valleys, and the trend was complicated. This necessitates schools to invest funds to construct venues and purchase equipment in order to increase the number of sporting events.

In recent years, the dendritic neural model has been widely employed in various fields because of its simple structure and inexpensive cost. Traditional numerical optimization is ineffective for the parameter optimization problem of the dendritic neural model; it is easy to fall into local in the optimization process, resulting in poor performance of the model. This paper proposes an intelligent dendritic neural model firstly, which uses the intelligent optimization algorithm to optimize the model instead of the traditional dendritic neural model with a backpropagation algorithm. The experiment compares the performance of ten representative intelligent optimization algorithms in six classification datasets. The optimal combination of user-defined parameters for the model evaluates by using Taguchi’s method, systemically. The results show that the performance of an intelligent dendritic neural model is significantly better than a traditional dendritic neural model. The intelligent dendritic neural model has small classification errors and high accuracy, which provides an effective approach for the application of dendritic neural model in engineering classification problems. In addition, among ten intelligent optimization algorithms, an evolutionary algorithm called biogeographic optimization algorithm has excellent performance, and can quickly obtain high-quality solutions and excellent convergence speed.

Aiming at the problems existing in the traditional teaching mode, this paper intelligently optimizes English teaching courses by using multidirectional mutation genetic algorithm and its optimization neural network method. Firstly, this paper gives the framework of intelligent English course optimization system based on multidirectional mutation genetic BP neural network and analyses the local optimization problems existing in the traditional BP algorithm. A BP neural network optimization algorithm based on multidirectional mutation genetic algorithm (MMGA-BP) is presented. Then, the multidirectional mutation genetic BPNN algorithm is applied to the intelligent optimization of English teaching courses. The simulation shows that the multidirectional mutation genetic BP neural network algorithm can solve the local optimization problem of traditional BP neural network. Finally, a control group and an experimental group are set up to verify the role of multidirectional mutation genetic algorithm and its optimization neural network in the intelligent optimization system of English teaching courses through the combination of summative and formative teaching evaluations. The data show that MMGA-BP algorithm can significantly improve the scores of academic students in English courses and has better teaching performance. The effect of vocabulary teaching under the guidance of MMGA-BP optimization theory is very significant, which plays a certain role in the intelligent curriculum optimization of the experimental class.

Power system health prognosis is a key process of condition-based maintenance. For the problem of large error in the residual lifetime prognosis of a power system, a novel residual lifetime prognosis model based on a high-order hidden semi-Markov model (HOHSMM) is proposed. First, HOHSMM is developed based on the hidden semi-Markov model (HSMM). An order reduction method and a composite node mechanism of HOHSMM based on permutation are proposed. The health state transition matrix and observation matrix are improved accordingly. The high-order model is transformed into the corresponding first-order model, and more node dependency information is stored in the parameter group to be estimated. Secondly, in order to estimate the parameters and optimize the structure of the proposed model, an intelligent optimization algorithm group is used instead of the expectation–maximization (EM) algorithm. Thus, the simplification of the topology of the high-order model by the intelligent optimization algorithm can be realized. Then, the state duration variables in the high-order model are defined and deduced. The prognosis method based on polynomial fitting is used to predict the residual lifetime of the power system when the prior distribution is unknown. Finally, the intelligent optimization algorithm is used to solve the proposed model, and experiments are performed based on a set of power system data sets to evaluate the performance of the proposed model. Compared with HSMM, the proposed model has better performance on the power system health prognosis problem and can get a relatively good solution in a short computation time.

With the popularity of Internet of things technology and intelligent devices, the application prospect of accurate step counting has gained more and more attention. To solve the problems that the existing algorithms use threshold to filter noise, and the parameters cannot be updated in time, an intelligent optimization strategy based on deep reinforcement learning is proposed. In this study, the counting problem is transformed into a serialization decision optimization. This study integrates the noise recognition and the user feedback to update parameters. The end-to-end processing is direct, which alleviates the inaccuracy of step counting in the follow-up step counting module caused by the inaccuracy of noise filtering in the two-stage processing and makes the model parameters continuously updated. Finally, the experimental results show that the proposed model achieves superior performance to existing approaches.
