ABSTRACTThis study aims to investigate how lessons Field Practices in Terrestrial Ecosystems can contribute to the process of education and high school students of Ecology of Learning. We will seek to highlight how these activities can contribute to the construction of problematizations and Learning generating questions. For this we follow the process of signification ecological concepts developed in Campo classes in Natural Ecosystems. The research activities were held with high school students in the discipline of biology in a state school in the city of Ilha Comprida / SP. In this research work with ecological concepts planned for the high school. The didactic sequence presented involved the presentation of natural phenomena. The project generator theme were the Terrestrial Ecosystem Ilha Comprida. Because it is an island sandbank presents many coastal ecosystems of the Atlantic Forest with unique characteristics. Close spatially and physically limited on the northwestern coast by the Small Sea (estuary) and the southeast coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The city has well preserved vegetation. Contato principal: [email protected]

At the present stage of society's development, there is an increasing need for highly qualified specialists who are ready for continuous updating of knowledge and skills, solving research problems in their professional activities. In this regard, one of the important tasks of the implementation of educational programs is the achievement of a high level of research competence by graduates. Teaching mathematics opens up unlimited opportunities for the development of the intellectual sphere and research skills of schoolchildren. However, the insufficient development of pedagogical technologies focused on the implementation of psychodidactic patterns of research activity development is a negative factor that prevents the realization of the developing potential of mathematical disciplines. The article presents the author's approach to the organization of research activities of high school students, based on the idea of integrating the process of educational cognition and modern digital technologies. As a key aspect of personal development in teaching mathematics, we consider the activity of mastering complex knowledge in the course of performing ordered, forming a single motivational and applied integrity of the complex tasks of a research nature, in the process of which there is an active mastery of knowledge, deeper penetration into the essence of mathematical concepts, methods, ideas. At the same time, intelligent management of research activities of high school students is carried out within the framework of using the functionality of a hybrid learning environment that integrates the functions of artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic, expert systems, providing individualization of learning, synthesis of mathematical and computer modeling of the content of knowledge and procedures. The paper describes the content and functionality of the basic modules of the intellectual learning system, describes the theoretical, methodological, and technological aspects of the organization of research activities of high school students to master complex mathematical knowledge.

Background: Research highlights how high school near-peer mentors (HSNPMs) in outdoor school settings enhance younger students’ programing experiences. Through this engagement, HSNPMs’ critical consciousness (CC) of equity in outdoor and experiential education (OEEE) expands. Purpose: This article explores how HSNPMs develop CC of environmental and social justice in OEEE. Methodology/Approach: We used critical ethnography to understand how near-peer mentoring programing associated with equity, diversity, access, and inclusion (EDAI) develop CC, in OEEE. Findings/Conclusion: Intentionally developed training and curricula rooted in social justice education facilitate CC development. This training includes staff's facilitation of equity discussions and support of high school students’ EDAI-related awareness, skills, and behaviors. Implications/Recommendations: HSNPMs contribute to EDAI in OEEE programs. We recommend including HSNPMs in staff training, program improvements, and planning activities.

Inquiry-based science issues approach facilitates the development of scientific skills through research activities on surrounding science issues. The purpose of this research was to understand the influence of Inquiry-based science issues on practical skills of Junior High School students. This research employed quasi-experimental research method, equipped with pre-test, post-test non-equivalent control group design. The sample of sixty junior high school students in Yogyakarta was picked for this study.  The instruments used were observation sheets on practical skills, practical skills test, and instructional learning sheets. The data collected were analyzed using N-Gain, percentage, and Analysis of Covariate (ANCOVA) at 0.05 significance level. The result revealed that Inquiry Science Issues was more effective in fostering students’ practical skills than the scientific approach. There was a significant effect of treatment on students’ practical skills while no interaction between approach and prior knowledge of students. Moreover, the data of practical skills through the observation sheets in the experimental class had higher percentage compared to the control class, 80.36%, and 70.61% respectively.
