The measurement of the η meson production in [Formula: see text] reaction has been performed at the Big Karl magnetic spectograph at COSY synchrotron in Jülich. The vector and tensor polarized deuetron beam at the excess energy of Q=16 MeV was used. The preliminary results for the unpolarized cross section are presented here.

A comparison of the close–to–threshold total cross section for the η' production in pp → ppη' and pn → pnη' reactions constitutes a tool to investigate the η' meson structure and the reaction mechanism in the channels of isospin I = 0 and I = 1 and may provide insight into the flavour-singlet (perhaps also into gluonium) content of the η' meson. In this contribution we present preliminary results of measurement of the quasi-free production of the η' meson in the proton-neutron collisions conducted using the COSY-11 facility.

One of the experimental programs at the TOF spectrometer located at the COSY-accelerator (Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany) is the study of ω-meson production in proton proton collisions (pp → ppω). Recently, a measurement was performed with a polarized beam at an excess energy of ∊ = 129 MeV , which offers the possibility to analyze polarization observables of this reaction channel for the first time. The analyzing power (Ay) of the pp → ppω-reaction was determined to be compatible with zero.

The reaction 16O(γ, p)3H3 induced by bremsstrahlung photons of endpoint energy Emaxγ = 150 MeV has been studied by the method of a diffusion chamber in a magnetic field. The energy dependence of the total cross section has been measured in the energy range from the threshold and has been founded a broad resonance centered at 55 MeV. The rate of decrease in the cross section undergoes a change in the region around 55 MeV. A comparison was made with the cross section for reactions 4He(γ, p)3H and 12С(γ, р)3H2. The agreement between the shapes of distributions for the (γ, p)3H reactions is evident and was concluded that the mechanism of interaction of the γ-quantum with the nucleus is similar. The dependence of average kinetic energy of particles on the total kinetic energy was determined. In the whole energy interval, the distribution for a proton is more than the statistical distribution. Distribution of relative energy of the proton and 3H nucleus in their c.m.s. does not agree with the predictions of the mechanism of photon absorption by an α-particle cluster, but at energies above the maximum, it agrees with calculations within the framework of the quasi-deuteron model of photoabsorption.

This article presents the review of the current understanding on the pion-nucleon Drell-Yan process from the point of view of the TMD factorization. Using the evolution formalism for the unpolarized and polarized TMD distributions developed recently, we provide the theoretical expression of the relevant physical observables, namely, the unpolarized cross section, the Sivers asymmetry, and the cos⁡2ϕ asymmetry contributed by the double Boer-Mulders effects. The corresponding phenomenology, particularly at the kinematical configuration of the COMPASS πN Drell-Yan facility, is displayed numerically.

Expressing the NN scattering matrix in terms of irreducible tensor amplitudes which are directly related to the central interaction in the singlet channel and the central, spin-orbit and tensor interactions in the triplet channel, we show how incisive information can be gathered about the NN interaction and in particular about tensor interactions at low energies by measuring the differential cross-section employing polarized beam and target with appropriate geometries.
