In this work, we investigate the holographic dark energy model with a new infrared cutoff (new HDE model), proposed by Granda and Oliveros. Using this new definition for the infrared cutoff, we establish the correspondence between the new HDE model and the standard Chaplygin gas (SCG), generalized Chaplygin gas (GCG) and modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) scalar field models in a nonflat universe. The potential and dynamics for these scalar field models, which describe the accelerated expansion of the universe, are reconstructed. According to the evolutionary behavior of the new HDE model, we derive the same form of dynamics and potential for the different SCG, GCG and MCG models. We also calculate the squared sound speed of the new HDE model as well as the SCG, GCG and MCG models, and investigate the new HDE Chaplygin gas models from the viewpoint of linear perturbation theory. In addition, all results in the nonflat universe are discussed in the limiting case of the flat universe, i.e. k = 0.

Within the framework of FRW cosmology, we study the QCD modified ghost scalar field models of dark energy (DE) in the presence of both interaction and viscosity. For a spatially nonflat FRW universe containing modified ghost dark energy (MGDE) and dark matter (DM), we obtain the equation of state of MGDE, the deceleration parameter as well as a differential equation governing the MGDE density parameter. We also investigate the growth of structure formation for our model in a linear perturbation regime. Furthermore, we reconstruct both the dynamics and potentials of the quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field DE models according to the evolution of the MGDE density.

The modified Chaplygin gas could be considered to abide by the unified dark fluid model because the model might describe the past decelerating matter dominated era and at present time it provides an accelerating expansion of the Universe. In this paper, we have employed the Planck 2015 cosmic microwave background anisotropy, type-Ia supernovae, observed Hubble parameter data sets to measure the full parameter space of the modified Chaplygin gas as a unified dark matter and dark energy model. The model parameters Bs, α, and B determine the evolutional history of this unified dark fluid model by influencing the energy density ρMCG = ρMCG0[Bs + (1 − Bs)a−3(1 + B)(1 + α)]1/(1 + α). We assumed the pure adiabatic perturbation of unified modified Chaplygin gas in the linear perturbation theory. In the light of Markov chain Monte Carlo method, we find that Bs = 0.727+0.040+0.075−0.039−0.079, α = −0.0156+0.0982+0.2346−0.1380−0.2180, B = 0.0009+0.0018+0.0030−0.0017−0.0030 at 2σ level. The model parameters α and B are very close to zero and the nature of unified dark energy and dark matter model is very similar to cosmological standard model ΛCDM.

In this work, the PLECHDE model with Granda–Oliveros (G–O) IR-cutoff is studied. The evolution of dark energy density, deceleration and EoS parameters are calculated. I demonstrate that under a condition, our universe can accelerate near the phantom barrier at present time. We calculate these parameters also in PLECHDE at Ricci scale, when α = 2 and β = 1, and a comparison between Ricci scale, G–O cutoff and non-corrected HDE without matter field with G–O cutoff is done. The correspondence between this model and some scalar field of dark energy models is established. By this method, the evolutionary treatment of kinetic energy and potential for quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton fields, are obtained. I show that the results has a good compatibility with previous work in the limiting case of flat, dark dominated and non-corrected holographic dark energy.

In this paper, motivated by Ref. 31, we study the so-called new agegraphic Chaplygin gas model with viscosity. Concretely, we establish the correspondence between the interacting new agegraphic dark energy (NADE) and variable generalized Chaplygin gas (VGCG) models in non-flat universe on the basis of reviewing related contents for the NADE and VGCG models. Furthermore, we reconstruct the potential of the new agegraphic scalar field as well as the dynamics of the scalar field according to the evolution of the agegraphic dark energy. Finally, we generalize our study to the case of NADE with viscosity, which includes the case without viscosity (ν = 0) as a special case.

In this paper, we investigate the statefinder, the deceleration and equation of state parameters when universe is composed of generalized holographic dark energy or generalized Ricci dark energy for Bianchi I universe model. These parameters are found for both interacting as well as noninteracting scenarios of generalized holographic or generalized Ricci dark energy with dark matter and generalized Chaplygin gas. We explore these parameters graphically for different situations. It is concluded that these models represent accelerated expansion of the universe.

We establish a connection between the agegraphic models of dark energy and Chaplygin gas energy density in a nonflat universe. We reconstruct the potential of the agegraphic scalar field as well as the dynamics of the scalar field according to the evolution of the agegraphic dark energy. We also extend our study to the interacting agegraphic generalized Chaplygin gas dark energy model.

Motivated by the work: K. Karami and J. Fehri, Phys. Lett. B684, 61 (2010) and A. Sheykhi, Phys. Lett. B681, 205 (2009), we generalize their work to the new holographic dark energy model with [Formula: see text] in the framework of Brans–Dicke cosmology. Concretely, we study the correspondence between the quintessence, tachyon, K-essence, dilaton scalar field and Chaplygin gas model with the new holographic dark energy model in the non-flat Brans–Dicke universe. Furthermore, we reconstruct the potentials and dynamics for these models. By analysis we can show that for new holographic quintessence and Chaplygin gas models, if the related parameters to the potentials satisfy some constraints, the accelerated expansion can be achieved in Brans–Dicke cosmology. In particular, the counterparts of fields and potentials in general relativity can describe accelerated expansion of the universe. It is worth stressing that not only can we give some new results in the framework of Brans–Dicke cosmology, but also the previous results of the new holographic dark energy in Einstein gravity can be included as special cases given by us.
