The principal objective of blast furnace is to produce high quality molten iron at a high rate with a low consumption. It is very important to control sinter chemical composition and comprehensive performance. This is because the sinter is the main raw material for ironmaking. In this paper, a predictive system for sinter chemical composition TFe and the solid fuel consumption was established based on BP neural network, which was trained by actual production data. The MATLAB m file editor was used to write code directly in this paper. Practical application shows the applications of the system not only can reduce the work difficulty of technical personnel, but also can improve the hit ratio of production index and the productivity.

Application of web-based raw material inventory control information system with a bill of materials (BOM) using the PHP and MySQL programming language as a database, and using the SDLC livestock device engineering method with stages of planning, design, implementation, and testing. I create a recording application that provides information about the availability of raw material reducing the error in calculating the amount of raw material based on the bill of material. With this application, it can help to purchase in determining the number of raw materials needed for production based on the master bill of material data.

According to the characteristics and requirements of weighing process for liquid raw material, the system of data acquisition and control based on serial port communication is designed in this paper. The system adopts the modularizing distributed structure and the way of RS485 communication to ensure the reliable data transmitting between IPC (Industrial Personal Computer) and modules. Based on C++ Builder 6.0 and SQL Server 2000, the system not only implements the process control of weighing and blending, but also realizes the production data storage and management. This paper analyzes the system function structure, describes the method of communication and introduces the means of data management. The application result indicates that this system improves the production efficiency and stabilizes the production process.

Silicon production by silica-containing raw material reduction by carbon in ore-smelting furnaces (OSF) is a complex pyro-metallurgic process. Silicon is produced in a system consisting of charge, furnace electrodes, air, melt, slag, and gases at temperatures above 2000°C, which generates silicon monoxide and carbide unavoidably. The finished product contains impurities (Fe, Ca, Al, Ti, etc.) in small amounts; however, it is still unknown for sure how impurities, contained in raw materials, behave and interact with each other and with silicon. To analyze the distribution of charge components during smelting, the research team used thermodynamic (mathematical) modeling in Selector software. The constructed four-tank silicon production model describes adequately the process. The assumed tank temperatures correspond to the OSF reaction zones (400°C, 1530°C, 2200°C, and 2000°C). Modeling involves 15 charge-carried elements: quartzite from the Cheremshanskoye deposit, charcoal and black coal, petroleum coke, wood chips, and OSF coal electrodes. According to the model, silicon recovery (with a 97.15 wt% silicon content in the melt) is 75%, which is consistent with literature and production data (AO Kremniy, Shelekhov, Irkutsk Oblast).

The quality of salted fish depends on the quality of raw material as well as the processing methods. The aim of this work was to study the processing profile of the salted fish in PHPT Muara Angke. Data was collected from the annual salted fish production data in Muara Angke from January 2017 to July 2018, as well as from observation and interview with 25 salted fish producers using snowball sampling method. The results showed that the processed fish species were very diverse and the processing was carried out using traditional methods. Frozen fish were used more frequently than the fresh one. The ground water and crystal salt were used in the processing.Pickling was widely used for salting method rather than dry salting or wet salting. Drying of the fish was carried out traditionally under the sun. However, bleaching agent was still used by some producers. In conclusion, the processing of salted fish in PHPT Muara Angke has not appliedsanitized and hygiene production processes.

The content and structure of mental representation of economic crises were studied and the flexibility of the structure in different social contexts was tested. Italian and Swiss samples (Total N = 98) were compared with respect to their judgments as to how a series of concrete examples of events representing abstract indicators were relevant symptoms of economic crisis. Mental representations were derived using a cluster procedure. Results showed that the relevance of the indicators varied as a function of national context. The growth of unemployment was judged to be by far the most important symptom of an economic crisis but the Swiss sample judged bankruptcies as more symptomatic than Italians who considered inflation, raw material prices and external accounts to be more relevant. A different clustering structure was found for the two samples: the locations of unemployment and gross domestic production indicators were the main differences in representations.

This article presents the rationale and methodology for developing an intrinsically safe device, namely, a hydrostatic fiber optic sensor with a position-sensitive detector for monitoring the level of oil products in large-capacity tanks at oil depots and during pumping in a raw material warehouses. This device suitable for continuous monitoring of the liquid level, based on the measurement of a hydrostatic column of liquid with automatic offset of changes in the density of the liquid. Offset is carried out by means of a displacer (a fully submerged float), inside which a housing with a position-sensitive detector (PSD) is integrated. Theoretical validation of the bellows suspension usage for a displacer is given. During filling a container with a liquid whose level is measured, liquid bellows, the movement of which is recorded by an optical triangulation sensor using the reflected infrared ray incident on the bottom of the bellows. The principle of the triangulation sensor operation is based on the geometric properties of the triangles. The pulses of infrared radiation come through a fiber optic cable. In order to measure the movement of the surface (the bottom of the bellows) by measuring the movement of the reflected beam, a position-sensitive detector is used, which is located in a remote controller. In this device for the intrinsic safety problem solution, optical inputs of a fiber optic flat cable are located in the active zone of the sensor, which is connected to the optical inputs of a position-sensitive detector, operated on the principles of photoelectric effect. The light spot moving along the sensitive zone and converted by the detector into a one-dimensional signal proportional to the distance to the object. hydrostatically applies pressure over the entire effective area of the measuring
