The transformation of society and the advent of the economic era have made people's living standards rising, while their consumption preferences and requirements have gradually increased. So when people choose commodities, they will first choose commodities that better meet their aesthetic needs. This requires the designer to be able to introduce the concept of cultural preservation into the packaging process design work and constantly innovate the design concept and method in order to make the product more in line with the actual needs of consumers. This article studies how to ensure the smooth progress of the design work under the guidance of cultural preservation and innovation ideas when carrying out packaging technology display design work. I hope that it can provide some reference to other peers in the process of improving packaging level.

Abstract This study aimed to seeks a packaging design concept using environmentally friendly material. There are lots of dried teak leaves that pollute the yard. Without proper management, these leaves become garbage or rot and pollute the environment. This research applied qualitative descriptive method which is supported by quantitative analysis to determine the effectiveness of the environmentally friendly packaging design and market interest strategy for brownies. The creative design of environmentally friendly packaging from teak leaves was created to cover plain cardboard. The goal is to avoid the use of chemicals, namely kerosene, thinner, or printing ink. Instead of printing the cardboard, it is coated with dried teak leaves. This practice is environmentally friendly has aesthetic values. It is expected to attract potential consumers who care for the environmental preservation.

ive Design Xia Yang Luzhou Vocational and Technical College, Luzhou, Sichuan, 646005, China [email protected] Keywords: Machinery; Abstraction; Design; Core Theory; Analysis. Abstract. The theory of mechanical abstractive design is the newest mechanical design concept at present. Lots of software achieve a certain degree of intelligence with the development of computer technology. And the processing efficiency is improved to a great deal through intelligent processing. Many suggestions for reference can be proposed during the processing. The study is based on the concept and characteristics of mechanical design. And the core theory of mechanical abstractive design, such as intelligence, automatic modeling and relative abstraction, was analyzed combined with the implication of abstractive design. Thus, a certain degree of reference is hopefully provided for the pragmatic design work.

We have been studying the effects of language stimuli on design concept creativity. We are motivated to study language and design because of the established relationship between language and cognitive processes central to design such as reasoning. As creativity is an important measure of design, many design methods use stimuli with the aim of increasing concept creativity. Language relationships such as the opposition relationship provide a systematic method of generating non-obvious stimuli that may increase concept creativity. In this paper, we summarize and discuss two experiments where participants used oppositely related and similarly related word stimuli in conceptual design. We found that designers using oppositely related word stimuli developed more novel concepts. We also observed that opposite stimuli elicited designer behaviours that may encourage creative concepts. These results suggest that opposite stimuli is a practical method for encouraging creative design.

As a city's transportation gateway, the high-speed rail station is also a business card for displaying and disseminating urban culture. The thesis takes the design process of East Nanyang Station, the largest single-line side station building in China as an example, elaborates the design concept of extracting "dragon in the cloud, soaring forward" as the creative design concept, and discusses the station building from three aspects: the overall plan of the station building, spatial form and spatial details cultural design expression.

Speculative and Critical Design (SCD) methods can produce provocative artifacts that help audiences recognize the political worlds in which all designed objects participate. Similarly, SCD can be leveraged in educational settings to help design students engage with social and political theory through their design work. SCD practices, however, are rarely seen outside of arts and creative design spaces, which limits any potential political impact they may have. This article traces the integration of SCD practices into “the hard case” of engineering education—a space with radically different, and at times oppositional, intellectual, and political traditions than creative design. I argue that the SCD platforms must reflexively account for and bridge radical epistemological differences among design disciplines, including those disciplines that may have an innate aversion to “political” content, if they are to have transformational impact outside of art and creative design worlds.
