With the integrated development of transportation and tourism, building tourism highways has become a new direction leading the transportation industry and also an important sector of green transportation. Currently, the planning, design and construction of tourism highways in China are at their early stage, and there are few relevant codes, specifications, and standards concerning the planning and design. This paper introduces the connotation of Tourism Highways, and clarifies the scope and principles of the planning and design. It puts forward the planning and design concept of coastal tourism highways, and carries out planning and design practices for coastal highways in Guangdong based on the concept.

Damage parameter of concrete is widely used in design and construction of concrete structures. An experimentation method has been designed, which can simulate the initial damage by mixed initiator into concrete. Damage parameter can be obtained in laboratory with standard specimens. But practical structure is very large. It is not rational to use this parameter in practical structures. So size effect on damage parameter is studied. It is concluded that initial damage and summit damage grow with the increase of structure size, but the growth rate becomes gentle with size increasing. When the size is larger than 500 mm×500 mm, the growth rate is less than 15‰, so the results obtained from specimen in 500 mm×500 mm can be used for mass concrete structures.

Abstract This study aimed to seeks a packaging design concept using environmentally friendly material. There are lots of dried teak leaves that pollute the yard. Without proper management, these leaves become garbage or rot and pollute the environment. This research applied qualitative descriptive method which is supported by quantitative analysis to determine the effectiveness of the environmentally friendly packaging design and market interest strategy for brownies. The creative design of environmentally friendly packaging from teak leaves was created to cover plain cardboard. The goal is to avoid the use of chemicals, namely kerosene, thinner, or printing ink. Instead of printing the cardboard, it is coated with dried teak leaves. This practice is environmentally friendly has aesthetic values. It is expected to attract potential consumers who care for the environmental preservation.
