Cloud computing offers a wide range of luxuries, such as high performance, rapid elasticity, on-demand self-service, and low cost. However, data security continues to be a significant impediment in the promotion and popularization of cloud computing. To address the problem of data leakage caused by unreliable service providers and external cyber attacks, an enhanced erasure code-based security mechanism is proposed and elaborated in terms of four aspects: data encoding, data transmission, data placement, and data reconstruction, which ensure data security throughout the whole traversing into cloud storage. Based on the mechanism, we implement a secure cloud storage system (SCSS). The key design issues, including data division, construction of generator matrix, data encoding, fragment naming, and data decoding, are also described in detail. Finally, we conduct an analysis of data availability and security and performance evaluation. Experimental results and analysis demonstrate that SCSS achieves high availability, strong security, and excellent performance.

Cloud Computing has already grabbed its roots in many industries. It has become a fascinating choice for small budget organizations, as On-demand resources are available on pay as you use basis. However, security of data being stored at cloud servers is still a big question for organizations in today’s digital era where information is money. Large organizations are reluctant to switch to cloud services since they have threat of their data being manipulated. Cloud service provider’s claim of providing robust security mechanism being maintained by third party, but still there are many reported incidents of security breach in cloud environment in past few years. Thus, there is need for ro-bust security mechanism to be adopted by cloud service providers in order for excelling cloud computing. Since there are n number of data’s in cloud, Storage of those data are to be placed with high rank of Significance. In Existing system, no efficient hybrid algorithms are used there by security and storage is compromised to significant ratio. We propose AES and Fully Homomorphic algorithm to encrypt the data, thereby file size get is compressed thereby increasing Data security and stack pile.

Cloud computing has become a practical solution for processing big data. Cloud service providers have heterogeneous resources and offer a wide range of services with various processing capabilities. Typically, cloud users set preferences when working on a cloud platform. Some users tend to prefer the cheapest services for the given tasks, whereas other users prefer solutions that ensure the shortest response time or seek solutions that produce services ensuring an acceptable response time at a reasonable cost. The main responsibility of the cloud service broker is identifying the best data centre to be used for processing user requests. Therefore, to maintain a high level of quality of service, it is necessity to develop a service broker policy that is capable of selecting the best data centre, taking into consideration user preferences (e.g. cost, response time). This paper proposes an efficient and cost-effective plan for a service broker policy in a cloud environment based on the concept of VIKOR. The proposed solution relies on a multi-criteria decision-making technique aimed at generating an optimized solution that incorporates user preferences. The simulation results show that the proposed policy outperforms most recent policies designed for the cloud environment in many aspects, including processing time, response time, and processing cost. As information and processes are migrating to the cloud, Cloud Computing is drastically changing IT professionals’ working environment. Cloud Computing solves many problems of conventional computing. However, the new technology has also created new challenges such as data security, data ownership and trans-code data storage. We discussed about Cloud computing security issues, mechanism, challenges that Cloud service providers and consumers face during Cloud engineering. Based on concerning of security issues and challenges, we proposed several encryption algorithms to make cloud data secure and invulnerable. We made comparisons among DES, AES, RSA and ECC algorithms to find combinatorial optimization solutions, which fit Cloud environment well for making cloud data secure and not to be hacked by attackers.

Cloud Computing is a very viable data storage structure where the users can store and access the data from anywhere. Cloud computing use is increasing at a very rapid pace nowadays. But as cloud allows us data accessibility quite easily data security is a major concern and is an emerging area of study. Other issues related to cloud computing are data privacy and internet dependency. On the other cloud computing also has wide range of benefits over traditional storage and accessibility environment such as scalability, flexibility and resource utilization. We have worked in the area of mobile cloud computing to analyse and solve the problems of anomaly attacks. Our work focuses on preventing the adaptive anomaly attacks and some other security issues of cloud computing

Electronic Medical Records are now widely used by medical organizations as a replacement for physical manual records of the patients. These Electronic Medical Records (EMR) were effectively adopted as a result of the evolution in the field of Information technology supported by more innovative computer science engineering feats, as the EMR systems became more advanced it still had a drawback of being vulnerable to cyber attacks, which will eventually compromise the integrity and confidentiality. Hence the same EMR system is built along with the use of Block-chain technology on a cloud storage platform, this system will be integrated with various features compatible for the interoperability between the patients and medical service providers. The main objective of this project is to leverage maximum cyber protection to the EMR system.

In this paper an efficient security mechanism has been adopted for the cloud computing environment. It also provides an extendibility of cloud computing environment with big data and Internet of Things. AES-256 and RC6 with two round key generation have been applied for data and application security. Three-way security mechanism has been adopted and implemented. It is user to user (U to U) for data sharing and inter cloud communication. Then user to cloud (U to C) for data security management for application level hierarchy of cloud. Finally, cloud to user (C to U) for the cloud data protection. The security analysis has been tested with different iterations and rounds and it is found to be satisfactory.

With the advent of new technology, the IT industry continuously strives to innovate in terms of deploying products or providing services and Cloud Computing is rapidly moving in the hype cycle. With practically all the service providers offering products and services with cloud features and functionality and investing in creating a cloud computing ecosystem, it has become important to understand what these ecosystem means to the organizations based out of UAE who have to decide whether to adopt cloud computing or shun it. There are several factors impacting an organization's decision on its choice of cloud computing adoption (like data security, Legal implications and derived benefits especially in UAE) (Al Tamimi & Company, 2005). There is a need for an assessment of cloud ecosystem in UAE which would be one of the significant factors considered cloud adoption in this region. This study analyzes the current cloud ecosystem providers in UAE and their product and services on cloud computing. It also tries to relate the relation between the cloud ecosystem and the factors impacting organization's decision to adopt cloud computing.

PurposeNowadays, cloud platforms are used in many fields, including e-commerce, web applications, data storage, healthcare, gaming, mobile social networks, etc. However, security and privacy are still two significant concerns in this area. The target of this paper is to present a system for trust management in industrial cloud computing using the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) approach. MCDM techniques have been developed to accommodate a wide range of applications. As a result, hundreds of approaches have been generated with even minor variations on current approaches spawning new study fields.Design/methodology/approachCloud computing provides a fully scalable, accessible and flexible computing platform for various applications. Due to the multiple applications that cloud computing has found in numerous life features, users and providers have considered providing security in cloud communications. Due to its distributive nature, dynamic space and lack of transparency in performing cloud computing, it faces many challenges in providing security. For security improvement, trust management can play a very influential role. This paper proposes a generic analytical methodology that uses a series of assessment criteria to evaluate current trust management testing prototypes in industrial cloud computing and related fields. The authors utilize a MCDM approach in the present article. Due to the multi-dimensionality of the sustainability objective and the complexities of socio-economic and biophysical processes, MCDM approaches have become progressively common in decision-making for sustainable energy.FindingsThe results of comparing and evaluating the performance of this model show its ability to manage trust and the ability to adapt to changes in the behavior of service providers quickly. Using a simulation, all results are confirmed. The results of simulations and evaluation of the present paper indicate that the proposed model provides a more accurate evaluation of the credibility of cloud service providers than other models.Practical implicationsThe number of cloud services and customers is vast and extremely competitive in cloud environments, where novel cloud services and customers can join at any time, while others can withdraw whenever they want. Because of cloud services' highly dynamic and dispersed design, trust management mechanisms must be highly flexible to obtain feedback and update trust outcomes as quickly as possible. The model presented in this article tries to improve users' trust in the cloud industry.Originality/valueUsing a method (MCDM) to find the best trust management solution based on user experience in industrial cloud computing is the novelty of this paper.
