In this paper, the quantitative evaluation of the explosion effect based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is proposed to describe the qualitative evaluation results. The selected state characteristic parameters are expressed by two kinds of membership functions, fuzzy normal and triangular distribution membership functions, and preliminary evaluation results are obtained. The validity index of the maximum membership principle is used to assess the accuracy of the evaluation results of two algorithms, and a relevant approaching degree is chosen to optimize the results. The entire evaluation process selects eleven indicators to form an evaluation set, including the boulder yield, root rate, flying distance of flyrock, explosive consumption, postcracking distance, detonator unit consumption, vibration velocity, loose coefficient, cast distance, throw rate, and blasted volume per meter of hole. Part of the indicator parameters are derived from field test monitoring, and another part of the indicator parameters are derived from numerical simulation. The simulation process uses the user-defined material interface function provided by LS-DYNA. And the numerical model of slope blasting is established by embedding the evolution relationship of tensile and compressive damage into the elastoplastic constitutive material. The evaluation method proposed in this paper is used to evaluate the postexplosion effect of Zijin Mountain gold-copper mine slope cast blasting. The results demonstrate that the fuzzy normal distribution membership function can correlate the state characteristic information and evaluation index effectively, and the working condition after explosion can be reflected accurately. Additionally, the influencing factors can be ranked by the importance degrees according to the calculated value of the evaluation index.

A competitive contractor is the guarantee of project’s success, so how to choose a suitable contractor is critical for the owners. However, among the influencing factors considered in the selection, some can be quantitatively evaluated with clear evaluation criteria while others can only be qualitative evaluated so that no specific scores can be obtained. For the above reasons an improved fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is proposed in which all assessment factors are divided into two categories and are evaluated with different criteria. The method integrates the advantage of quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation. Finally it is verified by a case and the result shows that the application of the improved fuzzy approach to choose contractor is effective and reasonable.

Infrastructure construction plays an important role in socio-economic development and urbanization level promotion. For the development of suburban infrastructure in Shanghai, the paper establishes the system of evaluation index and introduces the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. To make up for the insufficient of identification ability for determining the index weight by the AHP, the article uses the entropy method to make the results objective, scientific and reasonable.

With regard to the problem that only single index has been used in assessment of reliability, a suitable comprehensive assessment method about reliability index of electromagnetic flowmeter was established, and Mean Time To First Failure(MTTFF), Mean Time Between Failure(MTBF) and equivalent failure rate(D) were selected as the standards of reliability evaluation for the electromagnetic flowmeter in this paper. Because many evaluation elements involved and failure information and evaluation indexes are fuzzy, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation based on entropy weight was introduced to quantify the qualitative evaluation indexes, and indexes weight were determined scientifically by using comprehensive evaluation obtained from combining a subjective expert’s evaluation weight with objective entropy weight. Two kinds of the domestically produced electromagnetic flowmeter were studied, the censored data obtained from the process of consumers’s use were analyzed, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on entropy weight was used to evaluate the indexes of reliability in two kinds of electromagnetic flowmeter comprehensively. The results show that the conclusion is consistent with the fact, the method can effectively solve the problem existed in current modeling, and evaluation of electromagnetic flowmeter reliability has great practical value in the application.

The implemented performance of enterprise’s patent strategy is an important component to measure its comprehensive benefits. It is of strategic significance for an enterprise to evaluate objectively its implemented performance of patent strategy. From the perspective of sustainable development, according to the 4 aspects of creation, application, protection and management of patent, the essay constitutes preliminarily a comprehensive evaluation index system of the implemented performance of enterprise’s patent strategy which is composed of a set of 21 indexes on the basis of an amount of domestic and foreign literature survey, case study and expert consultation, and analyzes the evaluation model and method of implemented performance of enterprise’s patent strategy with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and through a real case. The essay thinks the constitution of evaluation index system should obey a series of basic principles of objectivity, systematization, science and conciseness and the evaluation in essence is multi-object, multi-factor and multi-layer. Therefore, it is effective and feasible to select the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation method.

Highway collapse hazard is the combined result of many factors. Based on the formation mechanism of the road collapse hazard and main the factors, they are selected from three aspects of risk assessments master factor: the regional geological structure, slope characteristics, and regional environmental characteristics, also ultimately select the spacing of the joints, slope lithology, slope structure, slope height, slope gradient, rainfall (rainfall in 24 hours to ≥ 25mm of days), the vegetation coverage degree and earthquake strong eight main control factors, above all these factors, they established a road collapse hazard evaluation index system. Based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, it establishes a road collapse hazard evaluation model. Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to determine the evaluation index system of layers in index weight values. Risk index is based on the evaluation criteria. Finally, an empirical study of two highway projects instances.

We generally use methods of statistical forecasting and antithesis in projects post evaluation, but they can only be used as a qualitative evaluation but as a quantitative evaluation. Based on the fuzzy mathematics, this text presents a better quantitative mathematical analysis-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. And then, it established a model of comprehensive fuzzy assessment of projects post evaluation. At last, it illustrate that the model of comprehensive fuzzy assessment can evaluate projects post evaluation accurately and quantitatively.

Along with the development of global warming, the commercial navigation of the Arctic route is getting even more likely, and the whole world is paying more and more attention to it. The analysis of the factors that affect the navigation environment together with the evaluation of the Arctic route’s navigation environment will have an important reference value for the further study of the Arctic route. Thus, based on the summarization of the status and the navigation accident statistics of the Arctic route, the paper establishes an evaluation index system and makes a preliminary evaluation of the Arctic route's navigation environment through a grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Since a lack of accurate data, the indexes' value is given by the expert grading method. Through analysis, we come to conclude that the hydrological factors, navigation aids and information factors are the main factors that affect the Arctic route's navigation environment. Besides, the sea ice concentration, icebreaker and navigation experience are individually the primary factors of the hydrological environment, navigation aids and information environment. As the North Pole goes warming, the hydrological environment will gradually transform, therefore, the navigation aids and information environment in the Arctic will gradually become the limiting factors of the Arctic route's navigation environment. The results of this paper can provide some beneficial reference for the utilization and supervision of the Arctic route.

Corrosion of large storage tank bottom has been identified as the main threat to tank security around the world. Corrosion detection becomes the main approach to ensure the safety of large storage tanks. In this article, we propose a two-stage tank bottom corrosion analysis and remaining useful life prediction framework. In the first stage, the causes and mechanisms of tank bottom corrosion are analyzed, the evaluation metric system is established, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the health status of tank bottom. The preliminary evaluation result in the first stage determines whether a subsequent remaining useful life prediction is required. If the tank bottom is not in healthy state, in the second stage, the remaining useful life prediction of the tank bottom is implemented by acoustic emission and risk-based inspection. Both qualitative and quantitative evaluation are carried out to provide a basis for the operation and maintenance decision of storage tanks.

Based on a large number of statistical analyses on the highway landslide, landslide risk evaluation index system is established. According to expert experience method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine weights of landslide disaster risk index and vulnerability evaluation index, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to analyze landslide hazard dangerousness and vulnerability, also to evaluate potential risk on the right side cutting slop of mountainous highway from Beijing to Zhuhai in section D blocks K46 + 375 to K46 + 500 before the construction is going on, therefore, the targeted slope protection design will be finalized on the analysis results. The research results can enhance the awareness of similar landslide disaster and provide analysis reference for the similar projects in the future.
