Introduction. Mobile health (mHealth) applications gain popularity due to the increasing number of mobile phone usage and internet penetration, which might help some of Indonesia’s medical issues. However, the uptake of mHealth applications is still low in Indonesia. This study is aimed at understanding the factors that drive individuals to adopt mHealth applications and their impact on the intention to recommend. Methods. We applied a new model that combines three different theories with some other constructs: an extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology, diffusion of innovation, and the internet customer trust model. The study used a cross-sectional study design with partial least squares causal modeling approach. Results. There are 787 respondents in our study, with the majority of them being female, young adults. Our model could explain 53.2% of the variance of intention to adopt while explaining 48.3% of the variance of intention to recommend. Initial trust in mHealth platform ( β = 0.373 , p = < 0.001 ), facilitating conditions ( β = 0.131 , p = < 0.01 ), and performance expectancy ( β = 0.099 , p = < 0.05 ) are the top three most important drivers of intention to adopt mHealth applications. Lastly, importance-performance map analysis (IPMA) showed that the mHealth application’s initial trust is the most important construct with a high-performance score. Discussion. Mobile health developers and managers need to improve initial trust in the mHealth platform, facilitating conditions, and performance expectancy when developing the applications. With a medium Q 2 predict , these factors can be applied out of the research context with medium predictive power.

This study investigated the factors that influence Ghanaian entrepreneurs to adopt e-commerce. Cross-sectional data was gathered from 520 entrepreneurs in the most populous and industrious regions in Ghana. The unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) was employed to effectively understand the unexplored phenomenon of e-commerce adoption among Ghanaian entrepreneurs. Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence (SI) positively and significantly influenced the behavioral intention (BI) to adopt e-commerce. Facilitating conditions (FC) and BI had a significant positive relationship with the adoption of e-commerce.

Making customers adopt mobile banking is a great challenge for banks, and especially for Islamic banks. This study investigates the factors that could predict the customers' use intention of the mobile banking services of Islamic banks by applying the conceptual model of UTAUT2. The model was further extended with gamification, as a promising tool to ease the adoption, while discussing the moderating effect of age and gender for all variables. The applied questionnaire to collect data has resulted in 205 respondents. The findings implied that facilitating conditions, habit, price value, and performance expectancy are effective variables in Islamic banking customers' behavioral intention to use m-banking. Gamification has a positive effect only when customers are younger than 30. It is further discovered that only the customers 30 and older had performance expectancy. Regarding gender differences, the only finding is the men's greater interest in the price value.

Purpose: This research objective was to analyze factors affecting IT practitioners’ behavioral intentions in adopting (BDA) using a combination of Initial Trust Model (ITM), Unified Theory Of Acceptance And Use Of Technology (UTAUT) AND Task-Technology Fit (TTF) Model acceptance models.Design/methodology/approach: Using a cross sectional survey, empirical data were collected. A total of 200 questionnaires were obtained and screened. 14 insufficient answers were subsequently discarded leaving 186 valid structured data review questionnaires. Data was analizad using the Partial Least Square Modeling of Structural Equations due to one of the best software for verifying structured data on structural equations modeling (SEM).Findings: Our findings show that two key factors determine behavioral intention to adopt BDA in government agencies. Firstly, the assumption that the technology is going to produce great results raises the expectation of performance. TTF was the second determinant factor. Surprisingly, Initial trust, on the other hand, had not been considered to be a key determinant of behavioural intention and was found to be adversely related to the BDA intentionResearch limitations/implications: These findings identify the crucial model, that would be useful to IT officers in public agencies in making investment choices and designing non-adopter-friendly outreach strategies because they have more barriers to acceptance than adopters and lead adopters in the reward ladder.Practical implications: The findings suggest significant recommendations and consequences for BDA systems practitioners and application developers, which could coincide with the successful implementation of BDA systems. This research gives practitioners an initial way to incorporate and endorse BDA activities in their organization to make the most of the advantages of revolutionary technology, particularly within public agencies.Originality/value: This study's model is helpful and promotes a theory for further BDA research. By utilizing the model, existing public agencies can know their own BDA capability, centered around activities with specifically tailored outcomes, organization dynamics, resources, skills and potential services.

In the present era, knowing the students' intention towards online learning has become necessary due to the persisting situations of the COVID-19. The current study explores the teaching of English to Biological Science students through online to explore their intentions towards online learning due to different waves of COVID-19 in Pakistan. The study used a rational method that utilizes cross-sectional data.The study employed a random sampling technique to trace the respondents.By using the AMOS, the results of a study underline a positive significant effect of performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI), facilitating conditions (FC), and perceived usefulness (PU) on intention towards online learning (ITOL) among the Biological Science students. The findings of the study are significant as they provide valuable insights to comprehend the elements that influence online learning (OL)concerning the teaching of English as a second language.

The following research attempts to investigate the determinants influencing consumers' intention to adopt mobile payment (MP). The research model was adapted based on three constructs from the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions in the research model. In addition, usage experience was also added to the model to test for moderating effect. An online survey conducted through Taiwanese chat rooms resulted in 348 valid responses, which were analyzed using Smart PLS. Results indicated that (1) effort expectancy, performance expectancy, and facilitating conditions were three major factors influencing intention to use mobile payment; (2) facilitating conditions played a significant role in impacting effort expectancy and performance expectancy; (3) usage experience positively moderated the relationship between facilitating conditions and performance expectancy; and (4) usage experience also positively moderated the relationship between facilitating conditions and effort expectancy.

The technology adoption domain is rich with studies that utilized a cross-sectional snapshot of subjects' perceptions regarding the adoption of new technology. This research tried to implement a longitudinal study that took three measures within 4 months to estimate the influence of time and experience on students' perceptions. The study adopted a modified version of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and use of Technology (UTAUT) with effort expectancy, performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, and locus of control predicting the intention to use Microsoft Project. Results supported the UTAUT and its prediction. Also, this study fitted two types of dynamic research typologies (learning curve and equilibrium circles) to the UTAUT relationships and across time.

Mobile payment services is happening in Indonesia are shifting to support the cashless society future supported by the many tech-savvy consumers in Indonesia. The leading mobile payment players, namely Go-Pay, OVO, DANA, LinkAja, etc. began to expand their target market network by adding the QR Code feature to perform transactions in offline merchants. With the offering transactions of cashbacks, the consumer will more likely to adopt the QR Code because the promotion can only be obtained by making offline transactions at several affiliated merchants. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that can influence the behavioral intention and the actual usage for using the QR Code feature in mobile payment to perform transactions in offline merchants. This study will also identify the extent to which the actual usage of the QR Code feature can contribute to the National Non-Cash Movement (GNNT), starting from the scope of generation Z in Bandung. This study will be conducted by using Extended UTAUT2 with nine independent variables of Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), Social Influence (SI), Facilitating Conditions (FC), Hedonic Motivation (HM), Price Value (PV), Habit (HT), Trust (T), and Perceived Risk (PR). These variables will be tested to the Behavioral Intention (BI) and also Actual Use (AU). The result indicates that the Habit is the most significant factors to influence Behavioral Intention. While the others, namely Behavioral Intention, Facilitating Conditions, Hedonic Motivation, and Performance Expectancy influence to Actual Usage and Behavioral Intention. ABSTRACT Big data applications have been remodeling several business models and provoking strong radical transformations in supply chain management (SCM). Supported by the literature on big data, supply chain management, and the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), this study aims to evaluate the variables that influence the intention of Brazilian SCM professionals to adopt big data. To this end, we adapted and validated a previously developed UTAUT model. A survey of 152 supply chain respondents revealed that facilitating conditions (e.g., IT infrastructure) have a high influence on their intention to adopt big data. However, social influence and performance expectancy showed no significant effect. This study contributes to the practical field, offering valuable insights for decision-makers considering big data projects. It also contributes to the literature by helping minimize the research gap in big data in the Brazilian context.

The study examined the adoption of electronic books (e-books) among undergraduate students in Kwara State, Nigeria using the unified theory of technology acceptance and use model (UTAUT), with a view to understanding the factors that lead to its adoption. The population consisted of 300 undergraduate students from federal, state and private universities in Kwara State, Nigeria. Results showed that usage of electronic books in scholarly databases, procured by the library, was relatively low, with more than 50 per cent of respondents claiming to have used e-books only once. Students in federal and state universities showed preference for e-books while private university students showed preference for paper books. In examining the intention to adopt e-books, using the UTAUT model, results showed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions were major determinants of e-book adoption, while gender played a moderating role. Performance expectancy and effort expectance significantly influenced male students, while effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions influenced female students significantly. It is paramount for university administrators to encourage the adoption of electronic books by promoting a lecturer-student model and improving the user interface to encourage the use of these resources.

In this research study, the author seeks to discover the predecessors of e-government services adoption among the citizen of Pakistan. To study the e-government adoption, researcher integrates extended TAM and theory of planned behaviour. Cross-sectional research technique was used and in total data was collected from 240 citizens of Pakistan. Results depict that facilitating conditions, performance expectancy, effort expectancy positively impact the citizen attitude towards adoption of e-government facilities. As well as, facilitating conditions as a positive impact on society and individual computer self-efficacy which helps in building citizen attitude.Furthermore, the researcher studies the impact of government trust as a moderator to test the relationship between attitude and adoption of e-government services. Results show that government trust dampens down the relationship between attitude and e-government adoption. To the conclude results SEM technique was used using AMOS-21.
