Seven new troglobitic leiodid beetle taxa (six new species and one new subspecies) from several caves and pits in the Balkan Peninsula (Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia) are described and diagnosed. Three new species belong to the genus Adelopidius Apfelbeck, 1907, two—to the genus Pholeuonopsis Apfelbeck, 1901, one—to the genus Leonhardia Reitter, 1901, while a new subspecies belongs to the genus Apholeuonus Reitter, 1889. All important morphological characteristics of the new taxa have been mentioned and imaged, including the aspects of the male and female genitalia. The new leiodid taxa are properly distinguished from their relatives and are endemics of the Dinaric mountain chain. A key to Adelopidius taxa is added.

Review of specimens and names of Faramea Aubl. (Rubiaceae, Coussareeae) has required new nomenclatural combinations, clarified the identities of some previously described species, and discovered some new taxa. Here we transfer two Faramea names, F. suaveolens Duchass. and F. panurensis Müll. Arg., to Coussarea Aubl.; review the identities of F. cuencana Standl., F. multiflora A. Rich., F. oblongifolia Standl., F. parvibractea Steyerm., F. spathacea Müll. Arg. ex Standl., and F. suerrensis (Donn. Sm.) Donn. Sm.; lectotypify F. multiflora and F. panurensis; transfer to Faramea and lectotypify Rudgea scandens K. Krause; and describe 13 new species and two new subspecies: F. camposiana C. M. This paper reports on mites of the family Pachylaelapidae collected in Bayburt Province, Turkey, during 2013–2015. Nine species were recorded in the genera Pachyseius, Olopachys, Pachylaelaps, and Onchodellus. Pachylaelaps (Longipachylaelaps) bayburtensis sp. nov., Onchodellus turcicus sp. nov. and O. montanus sp. nov. are described to new, and Pachylaelaps (Longipachylaelaps) vicarus is a new record for the Turkish mite fauna.
