The purpose of the study were: (1) to develop a reliable and valid scale and model for sensory experience, (2) to empirically test the model using Roberts’ (2004) lovemarks theory by examining the effect of the two brand image dimensions on the lovemark experience (brand love and brand respect) and, (3) to examine the relationship among brand loyalty, brand trust and overall brand equity. The empirical results show that the model is found to be fit and the hypotheses are significant and the variables have a strong correlation with one another.

Competition between the food and beverage industry, especially local souvenirs, is a challenge for every business actor to be able to maintain and develop his business. Repurchase decision is the stage where consumers form the intention to buy the most preferred product, where the consumer's decision to modify, delay or avoid is strongly influenced by the perceived purchase risk (Kotler and Keller, 2012: 188).Brand image can influence consumer behavior in buying a product. Brand image has an important position in buying behavior. Because one of the decisions in the purchase structure is a decision regarding the brand. Trust involves a person's willingness to behave in a certain way because of the belief that his partner will give what he hopes and a hope that is generally owned by someone that the words, promises or statements of others can be trusted (Daryanto, 2013: 279).Brand trust is one's belief in certain values that will influence behavior (Peter and Olson, 2013: 136). Brand loyalty reflects brand loyalty to certain brands. Brand loyalty is a condition where consumers have a positive attitude towards the brand, have a commitment to the brand, and have a tendency to continue their purchases in the future.Along with the development of the bread industry in Indonesia, there are also more players in the bread business so that competition in this market is getting tougher. The tight competition in the bread business can be seen from a number of bread business players in Indonesia, including bread with the brand Sari Roti, Lauw, Sharon, BreadTalk, Holland Bakery, and many more including the Lapis Kukus Pahlawan Bread. This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and brand trust on purchasing decisions of the Lapis Kukus Pahlawan bread through brand loyalty.

This research aims to find out the brand image and brand trust towards brand loyalty of AQUA product. The population of this research is the consumer of AQUA in Kuningan district and the data are collected by questionnaire technique. The��� purposive sampling technique is applied in this research while the sample of this research is 100 respondents using measurement scale of interval scale. The analysis method in this research is descriptive and verification with quantitative approach that cover validity and reliability, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing through F test, T test and determination coefficient (R2). The technique of data analysis is gained by the use of multiple regression linear. All tests on this research use a measured instrument in the form of computer program SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) version 21.0. Based on the result of this research, it is concluded that the brand image has positive influence and significant towards� brand loyalty ; brand trust has positive influence and significant towards� brand loyalty as well as both of brand image and brand trust have also positive influence and significant towards brand loyalty.�Keywords: Brand Image, Brand Trust, Brand Loyalty


Back in Chapter 4, we propose a model which attempts to encapsulate the antecedents of a brand relationship and subsequently its influence towards brand loyalty. The findings suggest that brand personality, brand trust, and brand salience are important antecedents to create a brand relationship in the children's market. Meanwhile, brand loyalty was identified as the consequence of a brand relationship, autobiographical memory, and habituation. In this chapter, we are going to expand this discussion by measuring variables concerning future anticipation, ritual, autobiographical memory, and living brand using fuzzy logic on children within the 10-12 years old age group who are assumed to be mature enough to understand and reply to simple direct questions. Ultimately, we would like to see whether the two constructs of future anticipation and ritual are (among) the antecedents of a living brand.

The importance of emotional branding (EB) strategy in building long-term and sustainable psychological links with consumers had been sufficiently highlighted in literature. However, very few research attempted to provide a structured tool for its measurement. This study proposed a 13-point four-factor multidimensional scale which could be used to measure EB formally. Dimensions measuring EB were derived from literature and then examined on three different brands in order to achieve a reliable and valid scale. Findings suggested brand loyalty, brand association, perceived quality and brand personality as constructs which would form the scale. The second part of the study was devoted to understand the role of these constructs in achieving ultimate goal of branding, that is, to infuse trust in consumers. A key finding suggested that emphasis on brand loyalty results in formation of trust and mitigates scepticism. Also, trust was positively and significantly impacted by brand loyalty and association, whereas a mismatch of brand personality with emotions reflected by brand could result in scepticism.

Purpose This paper aims to apply the concept of traditional branding constructs, i.e. brand image, brand perceived quality, brand satisfaction, brand trust and brand loyalty to a less explored field of halal brand products – halal brand image, halal brand perceived quality, halal brand satisfaction, halal brand trust and halal brand loyalty. Second, the present research is an effort to empirically validate the interrelationships among branding constructs such as brand image, brand perceived quality, brand satisfaction, brand trust and brand loyalty in a holistic framework to confirm whether these branding constructs also work for the halal brand in the same way to gauge Chinese Muslims consumers’ purchasing intentions. Design/methodology/approach This research used cross-sectional data from 481 Chinese Muslim students at 9 universities located in 3 cities of China through face-to-face and online survey methods. Data were collected from the consumers of halal milk brand. A theoretical model with the hypothesized relationships was tested with the help of the structural equation modelling procedure. Findings The results suggest that halal brand image has a significant and positive influence on the halal brand perceived quality, halal brand satisfaction, halal brand trust and halal brand loyalty. Similarly, the halal brand perceived quality, halal brand satisfaction, halal brand trust and halal brand loyalty significantly influence consumer halal brand purchase intention. Research limitations/implications This study is conducted in the halal food sector of China and specific religious and migration contexts. Further investigations of the halal food purchasing behaviour of local Muslims, as well as international Muslim students in those Western countries which are famous destinations for international students for education, could yield varying results. Practical implications The outcomes achieved are helpful for commerce and government organizations for policy development to better meet the burgeoning demand for halal products by Chinese Muslims. These are also very helpful for producers and exporters who intend to penetrate the halal market in non-Muslim-dominant countries such as China. Originality/value Studies on understanding Muslim consumers’ purchasing behaviours in non-Muslim countries are limited. Given the fact, numbers of Muslims seem a smaller amount of China’s total population, but their total numbers are large compared with total numbers in many Muslim countries. Therefore, understanding their purchasing behaviours for halal products and influential determinants concerning such purchasing behaviours adds to the literature and helps the industry to better serve and capitalise on the growing market.

This study conducted to determine the effect of brand experience, brand personality and brand trust on brand loyalty. This study is an explanatory research. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using survey methods. The total sample in this study was 150 respondents with the technique of taking with the method of purposive sampling. Primary data in this research is obtained from questionnaires distributed to respondents, while secondary data is data related to the object of research presented by other parties. Data analysis techniques in this study using simple regression analysis. The result of the research shows that: (1) brand experience has positive effect on brand personality, (2) brand experience has positive effect on brand trust, (3) brand personality positive effect on brand loyalty, (4) Brand trust has positive effect on brand loyalty (5) Brand experience has positive effect on brand loyalty.
