Abstract THE CEREBROVASCULAR DISCIPLINE has undergone dramatic changes in recent years. The advent, development, and now widespread application of endovascular therapy for various cerebrovascular diseases has been the predominant influence behind many of these changes, but other factors (some scientific, others less so) have also contributed significantly. As our discipline evolves, it is critical to periodically examine how such changes have altered our manner of practice and to determine what impact such changes might have on manpower allocation and training for the future. This article is our attempt at providing such an assessment. First, we will critically review recent trends within the fields of intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, carotid atherosclerotic occlusive disease, and ischemic stroke and how these trends have impacted our profession. Thereafter, we will provide a perspective on what the cerebrovascular manpower needs of the future might be and by whom these needs will be met. Finally, we will examine how the new generation of cerebrovascular specialists, including neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and some neurologists, will attain their requisite surgical or endovascular training and attempt to determine which careers, pathways, and opportunities will be available to these individuals in the future.

As a result of changing needs and technological developments; interactive technologies became a part of our daily life. Among the other structures, textile based interactive products are getting more and more attention because of their flexible, comfortable and cleanable characteristics with other structural advantages. In the early stages of the investigations, the combination of electronics and textiles were seemed not to be practicable in view of their opposite properties. With the successful results of scientific studies, the integration of electronic components into textiles offers great advantages. These products, called 'the textiles of the future', involve different functions like protection, actuation, communication etc. Various industries such as medical, security, entertainment and sport/well-being develop different types of new generation product using these functions. The development of smart wear is a new challenge for the textile and clothing industry. It has to develop products based not only on design, fashion and comfort concepts but also in terms of functions. In this study, recent developments about smart/interactive garments have been reviewed. Major application areas and futuristic R&D directions for smart textiles were investigated. Recent trends, market researches, future projections and latest developments about interactive electrotextile products have been introduced.

As the Ocean continues to be a focus for development in Europe through the European Commission’s Blue Growth initiative and through the Blue Economy, the importance of the marine and maritime industries will continue to grow. The knowledge, experience and innovative ideas needed to enable this development will be largely supplied by future marine professionals, or the marine graduates of today. Subsequently, the envisioned growth will require a skilled workforce of highly training and multi-skilled graduates from a wide variety of marine and maritime professional backgrounds. In addition, less established areas such as marine biotechnology and marine renewable energy may require new knowledge, skills, collaboration and innovation.It is therefore timely to examine the current marine graduate education and training system, identifying issues, challenges and opportunities. This Future Science Brief explores this complex landscape, to better understand the current status of education systems, and research and training funding mechanisms. It then looks at options to improve current capabilities across Europe at both Masters and Doctoral levels, and outlines a vision for the future of marine and maritime education and training in Europe. Case studies are presented to illustrate good practice, alongside interviews with recent marine graduates who have themselves benefitted from innovative training opportunities. The Future Science Brief then identifies ways in which to improve and broaden the skills and capabilities of the next generation of graduates. This includes enabling exposure to industry, encouraging interdisciplinary research and promoting the importance of transferable skills to graduates and industry alike. It closes by presenting 6 key recommendations for the future development of marine graduate training in Europe, and calls for collaboration between key actors from the marine education community, the marine and maritime industries, and research funding to come together to jointly develop an education and training system which will benefit all.

Abstract In this study, we introduce what kind of role is played by psychological immunity and its sub-factors and its factor values in life of the students taking part in the professional training, in their performance at school, in the improvability of the students′ strengths and weaknesses. The target of the research is to renew the methodology of the professional training through becoming acquainted with the students of the new generations more exactly. Since, the new generation has changed and it is still changing even today. Their education - training is getting more and more difficult because we do not know them enough. Teachers say that the knowledge of the students, the level of their education, mainly in the specialised secondary schools, is very low because the series of their failures can be detected and the non-attendance is also typical. Much of the students do not have any relevant prospect for the future after the specialised secondary school; they do not have any targets in the long run. The teachers in the specialised secondary schools observe that students are disinterested, they miss persistence, their control ability is very low, the EQ is decreasing and their self-knowledge is imperfect. All of them can be the source of conflicts.

This article summarizes and elaborates upon the themes discussed by members of the “Future of Counselling Psychology Education and Training in Canada” working group at the 2018 Canadian Counselling Psychology Conference (2018 CCPC) by 19 participants in attendance. Complexities in program requirements, external and internal program regulations, research competency and advancement, and cultural/social justice responsiveness and internationalization are explicated and analyzed. The current state of counselling psychology education and training is highly intricate and nuanced, while many strengths and opportunities for growth exist despite some long-standing tensions. It is hoped that this article not only will help outline and contextualize the current status and challenges facing the future of counselling psychology education and training in Canada but also will recruit others in helping to improve Canadian counselling psychology education and training. Advocating for what is needed to achieve this is consistent with the theme of the 2018 CCPC. Continued dialogue, program evaluation, theorizing, and research are needed on the nature and dynamics of Canadian counselling psychology education and training.

Education is an important factor in human life. According to Ki Hajar Dewantara, education is a civilizing process that a business gives high values ??to the new generation in a society that is not only maintenance but also with a view to promote and develop the culture of the nobility toward human life. Education is a human investment that can be used now and in the future. One other important factor in supporting human life in addition to education, which is technology. In this globalization era, technology has touched every joint of human life. The combination of these two factors will be a new innovation in the world of education. The innovation has been implemented by Raharja College, namely the use of the method iLearning (Integrated Learning) in the learning process. Where such learning has been online based. ILearning method consists of TPI (Ten Pillars of IT iLearning). Rinfo is one of the ten pillars, where it became an official email used by the whole community’s in Raharja College to communicate with each other. Rinfo is Gmail, which is adapted from the Google platform with typical raharja.info as its domain. This Rinfo is a medium of communication, as well as a tool to support the learning process in Raharja College. Because in addition to integrated with TPi, this Rinfo was connected also support with other learning tools, such as Docs, Drive, Sites, and other supporting tools.

This paper deals with a perceived conflicting paradox between consumerism and sustainability among top marketing executives of three purposely selected corporations, where each company represent a current organizational paradigm: the functional, the human radical and the interpretative. A case study methodology, based on in depth interviews, combined with a comprehensive bibliographic research, enabled to address how the planet limitations to provide resources can influence business strategies.  Functional paradigm companies, for example, pursue infinite growth while we live in a finite planet. The question is if the Marketing Department of those companies in the different organizational paradigms have a role in providing inputs in the strategic long term planning. Furthermore, if the marketing discipline in the academic environment influence decision makers that participate on the companies’ business planning to shape the future in a perceived environment in 2017 where consumerism is posed in the against road of the planet sustainability. The study revealed that, the Marketing Department has limited power or voice to influence business decisions. On the other hand, ‘greener’ initiatives like Social Marketing, Green Marketing and Sustainable Marketing has potential to either evolve to or incorporate a new discipline concept, so called in this paper as ‘Conscious Marketing’. This opportunity should be kicked off at the academic level in Universities and Business Schools that may reinforce the relevance of the theme and help to build in the students, a new generation of professionals, the knowledge that we live in a finite planet with limited resources and that the humanity need to revisit its consumption standards to ensure living conditions to the future generations.

Research and surveys have been conducted to find out data and information on the implementation of education and training (DIKLAT) in order to improve the performance of diverse personnel. Basically the implementation of education and training is intended to increase the mastery of the skills and knowledge of personnel in an effort to improve personnel performance. Measuring the performance of diverse personnel is important in overall management, in order to know each personnel's performance and find the best alternative for all deficiencies, because each personnel hasdifferent abilities and personalities.Performance measurements carried out on an ongoing basis provide feedback which is important in continuous improvement efforts in achieving success in the future.
