The experiments of micro-hole ablation are conducted firstly on titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V with Nd: YAG millisecond laser. A significant factor which affects the depth of blind hole is found: the depth of recast material. This paper closely examines the regularity of recast depth varying with laser parameters, discovering that the ratio of recast depth to the entire hole depth decreases as pulse width decreases, and increases as peak power decreases. Verification experiment is conducted on stainless steel 1Cr13, eventually micro-hole with very thin recast layer is drilled when the maximum peak power and the minimum pulse width of the present millisecond laser are used.

As a new type of global energy-saving transmission mode, frequency conversion hydraulic drive system has been widely used. Since hydraulic systems become more complex and transfer more power, operating accidents often occur unexpectedly. Therefore, online monitoring of the running state of the hydraulic system is significant during its long-term operation. The pressure, flow, and vibration signals obtained by traditional monitoring methods are nonstationary and susceptible to disturbance. In order to solve this problem, a method of monitoring power condition of the motor driven hydraulic system based on input voltage and current of the motor is proposed. The present study uses the amplitude and phase information of the voltage and current signals on the stator side of the AC motor to form a dynamic power circle graph and extracts feature information from the graph to monitor the power state and its dynamic change process of the hydraulic system. Results obtained from experiments conducted under different frequencies and loads indicate that the proposed method can realize the online monitoring successfully and effectively. Furthermore, the method has another advantage of monitoring the dynamic power change process of the hydraulic drive system and the power matching process between the motor and the system load condition in a visualized way.

Purpose Strategic changes in an organization will face challenges not only related to the changes as such but also with regard to how the vision of the future is interpreted and understood by the organization. Visual management is a field of research that could contribute to change management research as a means to facilitate management of the dynamics in a change process and to facilitate the process of communication. The purpose of this paper is to problematize episodic change processes with regard to communication and to contribute with a proposed model on how to facilitate dynamic strategic change management using visual management. Design/methodology/approach The paper uses an interdisciplinary approach by linking change management literature to visual communication to be used for visual management. Findings A proposed model presents how a dynamic episodic change process can be managed in terms of visual management, potential pitfalls to avoid, and what ambidextrous capabilities are needed throughout the complete episodic change. Research limitations/implications The proposed model is still yet theoretical, based on a literature review of dynamic change management and visual communication. Future research will validate the model in practice to confirm its robustness. Practical implications An implementation of visual management in Kotter’s (1995) eight steps on how to strategically manage change in combination with theories on ambidexterity and episodic change is suggested. Originality/value The paper contributes to how visual management can support change management by combining visual communication and change management.

In anti-submarine war systems of system (ASW-SOS), each operational node has a variety of combat capabilities, which play different roles in anti-submarine actions, and these abilities have their own range. Therefore, after definition and description of ability of operational node, calculation of comprehensive ability index, and built of weighted voronoi diagram (WVD), the analysis approach of operational ability of ASW-SOS is formed. After generating various capabilities WVD, this paper analyzes impact of change brought by global dynamic deployment, and puts forward adaptive optimization solution. The simulation results show that, by using the technology of WVD, the ability of static distribution and dynamic change process can be demonstrated clearly and precisely, and this method has strong practicality
