Empathy is the feeling that a person can step out virtually from his/her own world and enter the internal world of another person.  In simple notation, empathy means the ability to ‘feel with’ other people, to sense what they are experiencing.  Empathy is different than sympathy.  It is a hard-wired capacity many of the people today is lacking. A psychological study has found that many people are suffering from Empathy Deficit Disorder (EDD). EDD gets severe by the increasingly polarized social and political culture especially in the under developed countries.  Lack of empathy and social wellness can be very damaging to the families, organizations and countries. This research investigates how compassion can be trained as a coping strategy to build social wellness using augmented reality on our young generations.  Smart and empathic citizens are the key to the success of Industrial Revolution (IR) 4.0.

We are witnessing how new technologies are radically changing the design of organizations, the way in which they produce and manage both their objectives and their strategies, and -above all- how digital transformation impacts the people who are part of it. Even today in our country, many organizations think that digitalizing is having a presence on social networks, a web page or venturing into cases of success in corporate social intranet. Others begin to invest a large part of their budget in training their teams and adapting them to the digital age. But given this current scenario, do we know exactly what the digital transformation of organizations means? It is necessary? Implying? Is there a roadmap to follow that leads to the success of this process? How are organizations that have been born 100% digital from their business conception to the way of producing services through the use of platforms? What role does the organizational culture play in this scenario? The challenge of the digital transformation of businesses and organizations, which is part of the paradigm of the industrial revolution 4.0, is happening here and now in all types of organizations, whether are they private, public or third sector. The challenge to take into account in this process is to identify the digital competences that each worker must face in order to accompany these changes and not be left out of it. In this sense, the present work seeks to analyze the main characteristics of the current technological advances that make up the digital transformation of organizations and how they must be accompanied by a digital culture and skills that allow their successful development. In order to approach this project, we will carry out an exploratory research, collecting data from the sector of new actors in the world of work such as employment platforms in its various areas (gastronomy, delivery, transportation, recreation, domestic service, etc) and an analysis of the main technological changes that impact on the digital transformation of organizations in Argentina.

Monica Ali was born in 1967 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, but grew up in England. Her English mother met her Bangladeshi father at a dance in northern England in the 1960s. Despite both of their families` protests, they later married and lived together with their two young children in Dhaka. This was then the provincial capital of East Pakistan which after a nine-month war of independence became the capital of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh. On 25 March 1971 during this civil war, Monica Ali`s father sent his family to safety in England. The war caused East Pakistan to secede from the union with West Pakistan, and was now named Bangladesh.

A newly discovered autobiographical manuscript is used to reconstruct Hutton’s early life in Derby and Nottingham. Of the data in his ‘Memorandums from Memory all Trifles and, of Ancient Date’, 70 per cent was not included in his published Life. This chapter analyses the people, places, and subjects found in this manuscript. Hutton’s earliest memories reveal his hardships as a child labourer in a Derby silk mill and an apprentice stockinger in Nottingham. We observe the strategies he used to find a pathway out of poverty, and the details of his self-education. The importance of family relationships, social networks, and urban marketplaces were common factors shared by entrepreneurs in the Industrial Revolution. How Hutton prepared to become a bookseller is also revealed.

The current phenomenon of the economy-accelerated digitalization, known as the “Industry 4.0”, will generate both an increased productivity, connectivity and several transformations on the labor force skills. Our research objectives are to determine the influence that digitalization has had on the workforce in several developed countries and to propose a new composite indicator that reflects these dynamics over time. We have used the Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) in order to identify and analyze the correlations between two sets of variables, an independent one and a dependent one. Data were collected from the World Bank and World Economic Forum for the years 2018–2019. Based on the results of our research we have determined and made a consistent analysis of the new composite index of digitalization and labor force in 19 countries. The results of our research are relevant and show not only the impact of digitalization on the labor force in different countries, but also the structural changes required by the new economic and social models. Our research can help decision-makers get in advance the necessary measures in the field of labor force in order to ensure a proper integration of these measures into the new economic model based on digitalization.

One way to finance government expenditures is to collect taxes. Regarding to this financial source compared with other sources positive tax knowledge sharing amongst people or tax payers lead to effective investment. Unlike developing countries in developed countries - that taxes have little effects - almost all government expenditures is financed by taxes. One of the main challenges in the tax system is how to collect taxes due to tax evasion. The main reason is the uncertainty surrounding how government uses the taxes paid by the people. A major factor in the outbreak of the sense of failure to pay taxes, is the discussion and sharing the viewpoint of each other. If there is any positive tax effect prevalence of speech among people motivate them to pay more and if not, paying taxes is impaired. Therefore in order to avoid disorderliness in paying taxes that lead to a reduction in the development growth rate of investing taxes in industry and services sectors procedures should be designed so that taxes spread in speech with more quality. In this article five categories that people share their knowledge about them with each other, have been proposed. Defining risk structure and using data from surveying form the risk values of tax payment the results indicate that sharing tax knowledge amongst people have positive effects on tax payments.

Populism is the name of a global phenomenon whose definitional precariousness is proverbial. It resists generalizations and makes scholars of politics comparativist by necessity, as its language and content are imbued with the political culture of the society in which it arises. A rich body of socio-historical analyses allows us to situate populism within the global phenomenon called democracy, as its ideological core is nourished by the two main entities—the nation and the people—that have fleshed out popular sovereignty in the age of democratization. Populism consists in a transmutation of the democratic principles of the majority and the people in a way that is meant to celebrate one subset of the people as opposed to another, through a leader embodying it and an audience legitimizing it. This may make populism collide with constitutional democracy, even if its main tenets are embedded in the democratic universe of meanings and language. In this article, I illustrate the context-based character of populism and how its cyclical appearances reflect the forms of representative government. I review the main contemporary interpretations of the concept and argue that some basic agreement now exists on populism's rhetorical character and its strategy for achieving power in democratic societies. Finally, I sketch the main characteristics of populism in power and explain how it tends to transform the fundamentals of democracy: the people and the majority, elections, and representation.

Today, the need for economic development is self-evident to the millions of people in Asia, Africa and Latin America who suffer from malnutrition, are ill-housed, poorly educated, and either unemployed or grossly underemployed. The ultimate objective of economic development is to raise the standard of life – the quality of life - for the mass of the people, to widen their area of choice, to open up new opportunities for human well-being. The less developed countries have two-thirds of the 3.5 billion people but receive only 12.5 percent of the world's gross national product. Life appears to be an economic treadmill with the future blighted by an excessive rate of population growth for millions of people. India provides a good illustration of the problem. With an estimated population of 525 million at mid-1968, India had 15 percent of the world's population, 2.4 percent of the world's land area, hardly 2 percent of the world's income, and an annual per capita income level of around $75.

Industry 4.0 is the essence of the fourth Industrial revolution and is happening right now in manufacturing by using cyber-physical systems (CPS) to reach high levels of automation. Industry 4.0 is especially beneficial in highly developed countries in terms of competitive advantage, but causes unemployment because of high levels of automation. The aim of this paper is to find out if the impact of adopting Industry 4.0 on the labor markets of Iran and Japan would be the same, and to make analysis to find out whether this change is possible for Iran and Japan with their current infrastructures, economy, and policies. With the present situation of Iran in science, technology, and economy, it will be years before Iran could, or better say should, implement Industry 4.0. Japan is able to adopt Industry 4.0 much earlier than Iran and with less challenges ahead; this does not mean that the Japanese labor market would not be affected by this change but it means that those effects would not cause as many difficulties as they would for Iran.
