<p>Fenugreek (<em>Trigonella foenum-graecum </em>L.) is an annual herb used as organic (green) manure and has medicinal applications. Organic fertilizers are used in sustainable agriculture of vegetables. Sources of organic manure and their effects on growth and yield characteristics of plants need to be determined. Effects of vermicompost and vermiwash were determined on qualitative and quantitative factors of chemical content, development and yield of fenugreek (<em>Trigonella foenum-gaecum </em>L.) from May to July 2012 at Agriculture College of University Guilan. A completely randomized block design with 3 replications was used. Treatments included 7 t/ha of cow manure, vermicompost, vermiwash (obtained from 7 t/ha vermicompost); 7 t/ha of leachate vermicompost + vermiwash and a control (no fertilization). Use of organic fertilizers beneficially affected plant height, pod length, pod fresh and dry mass, 1000-seed mass, plant fresh and dry mass, internode length and percents of leaves protein and nitrogen. Use of organic fertilizers may increase yield and yield components of fenugreek and its yield efficiency.</p>

Beans are a kind of edible beans. Beans are rich in protein and vitamins that help lower blood pressure and monitor blood sugar metabolism and are equated with being eaten by those who suffer from diabetes or hypertension. High fiber and enzyme content can help you lose weight. In peanut cultivation it needs to be optimized considering the consumption needs are not comparable with production, One way to increase the productivity of peanut plants is proper fertilization, such as by using organic fertilizers. This study aims (i) to determine the effect of EMRAS on the growth and yield of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) on swampy swamp land. (ii) Getting the best concentration between EMRAS and growth and yield of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) on swamp swamp land. This research was carried out on swamp swamp land in Teluk Buluh Village, Banjang District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency in May - July 2013, using a Randomized Block Design (RBD), with 6 treatments and 4 replications, resulting in 24 experimental units and each experiment. consists of 2 sample plants, so that the total sample is 48 plants. ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of different profile colors based on nutrient flux on microclimate, growth and yield of four rocket cultivars. The experiment was conducted during four months in a protected environment in the NLT system, which consisted of benches composed of eight hydroponic profiles for the plants conduction. The treatments were arranged in a 4x2x2 factorial design, with four cultivars (Cultivada, Folha Larga, Rococo and Runway), two color profiles (black and white) and two growing seasons (autumn and winter). The experiments were conducted in a randomized block design with three replications. The evaluations were realized on every four days, throughout the growth period. Leaves fresh and dry mass, stems and roots, plant height, leaf number and leaf area index were evaluated. The different color profiles resulted in variations on crop growth and production due to the thermal changes within the hydroponic profile. The greatest growth and increased productivity were obtained from plants cultivated in white growing channels during the autumn. The cultivars Cultivada, Folha Larga and Rococo have similar performance, better than ‘Runway’.

Growth and production of corn plants require land with sufficient nutrients. Utilization of biological fertilizers and organic materials carried out with the aim of increasing the yield of corn. The treatments that were tried were the provision of compost, livestock manure, compost and livestock manure, each of which was added by spraying a consortium of biological fertilizer. The experiment was designed using a randomized block design with five replications. The results showed that the application of organic-based fertilizers affected plant height from 17 - 49 days after planting, weight of fruit with kelobot, weight of cob and ear length. Provision of compost or livestock manure and added with a biological fertilizer consortium by spray gives a higher effect compared to the provision of compost or livestock manure which is not added to the consortium of biological fertilizer. To increase the productivity of maize plants it is recommended to use a consortium of biological fertilizers applied by spraying at intervals of seven days until the plants are 49 days after planting.

Onion production must always be increased. Liquid organic fertilizers affect the growth and development of soil microbes and the nutrients contained in POC will be absorbed more quickly by plants. Guano or swallow droppings originating from the swallow cultivator building are currently not widely used and further processed, even though the waste can be used as fertilizer that can fertilize plants. This study aims to obtain the POC dose of swallow droppings that provide the highest growth effectiveness and yield in shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) plants. The research method used was a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD), namely the dose of POC with 7 treatments that were repeated 4 times, namely treatment A (Without NPK and POC (control (-)), B (NPK 600 kg / ha (control (+)), C (POC 3 l / ha + NPK 300 kg / ha), D (POC 6 l / ha + NPK 300 kg / ha), E (POC 9 l / ha + NPK 300 kg / ha), F (POC 12 lt / ha + NPK 300 kg / ha), G (POC 15 l / ha + NPK 300 kg / ha). Data were analyzed using variance (ANOVA) and DMRT at the 5% level. Based on the results of the study, the dosage of swallow droppings POC did not have a significant effect on all components of growth and yield. This shows that POC made from swallow droppings has not been able to increase the growth and production of shallot plants.
