Email, chat rooms, and websites are often used in counseling. Now, smartphones and their applications can also be used. Mobile mind mapping tools can support counseling frameworks, such as rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). The integration of counseling and technology has great potential for helping clients to lead healthier and more productive lives. This article describes REBT and outlines four ways to use mobile mind maps in REBT. It also offers tips on how to use mobile mind mapping to enhance the counseling process. The article concludes with a brief case study demonstrating how mobile mind maps can be integrated into counseling.

As student creativity is increasingly emphasized in English as a Foreign Language education, it is necessary to consider instructional techniques to encourage it. This study examines the effectiveness of two instructional techniques on creative writing performance of English as a Foreign Language students in a South Korean university. These techniques are variations of brainstorming known as mind mapping and SCAMPER. Survey data from the participants ( n = 39) were analysed to determine which technique resulted in higher levels of perceived creative output (essays). Additionally, a creativity rubric was developed and used to assign analytic scores to the essays to examine the relative benefits of the two techniques for high and low creative ability students. Results show that SCAMPER produced statistically significantly higher levels of perceived creative output. The essays written using SCAMPER generally received higher creativity scores than those written using mind mapping, though this difference was not statistically significant. Finally, results suggest that both techniques may help to narrow the performance gap between high and low creative ability students.

Culture of continuous improvement are favorite things that implemented in many business. This is also as concern in PT.ABC to apply continuous improvement in their operations. They use PDCA (Plan, DO, Check, Action) methodologies to solve the problem. One of PDCA case study that to be a topic for this research are  problem solving in handover process.Lead time for handover process are 20 hours, it will be bring another negative effect. So, problem solving by using PDCA methodologies are conducted. Plan phase are problem Identification, identify cause, and developing solution by using some tools :swim lane flowchart, cause effect diagram, mind mapping effort and benefit matrix. Do phase are execute the action plan, then Check phase are verify the result. The last phase are Action, it is a standardization and next improvement topic .Outcome of PDCA implementing in handover process are reducing lead time in handover process, from 1.161 minutes to 265 minutes, or lead time decreasing by 77%. Other positive effect of PDCA implementing are facilitate the operator to operate the documents, utilize the space that caused by inventory reducing in staging area.Key words :  PDCA, Swim lane, Cause and effect diagram, Mind mapping, Effort & benefit diagram.

The current study was carried out to identify the teaching writing strategies in remote teaching setting. This study was a case study. The study was conducted at SMK N 3 Singaraja. The participants of the current study were X grade English teachers of the 2020-2021 academic year, which consist of four teachers (2 females and 2 males).  In conducting the study, observation and interview guide were used. The data were analyzed with guidance of analyzing qualitative data by Miles, Huberman, & Saldana (2014). The findings showed that the teaching writing strategies implemented by English teachers were guided writing, mind mapping, scaffolding, and dictogloss. In this remote teaching setting, English teachers are encouraged to be more creative in designing instruction and carrying the teaching strategies for teaching writing. Further study is suggested to identify teaching strategies used by English teacher in remote teaching for different language skills.

Starting out from the notion of irradiating thought or conceptual maps (Buzan 1986, 2002), recently and explicitly tackled as an academic skill by some CLIL learner-oriented materials, this article explores the prospects for its introduction in engineering environments. It reports on a small-case study aimed to reflect on the implications of lecturers' textual choices for the note-taking habits of engineering students and ultimately for their representation of contents. The analysis of seven engineering lectures in English and Spanish in a summer seminar for EU polytechnic students, of seven condensed lectures in English by engineering teachers during an in-service training course at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and of twenty questionnaires probing into the students' note-taking routines, suggests an influence of lecturing style on note quality and evidences several lecturing deficiencies at the rhetorical level that may hamper the practice of conceptual mapping.

Objective: A method is presented for integrating the mind mapping methodology into Pharmacy course classes. An evaluation was made of the students’ performance and their perception of achievement of significant learning. Method: Weekly reviews and group assignments using mind maps were carried out on a Small-Scale Drug Formulation class concerning drug formulation design. The students’ grades were compared with those for control groups and longitudinal Cohorts. A questionnaire was used to obtain the opinions of the students concerning the effectiveness of the methodology and their acceptance of it. Results: The students showed improved short-term performance and collective learning. Their feedback concerning the methodology was positive. Conclusion: This strategy was shown to be a promising tool for engaging adult students in collaborative learning activities.

A good research is a research with a clear research novelty of research originality. However, finding the novelty or originality is one of the most challenging process in research in any field.  Although there are many proposed models to assist researchers and scholars to determine research novelty-such as Systematic Literature Review, K-Chart, Card System, Decision Tree, Mind Mapping- most of the tools or models fail to fulfill the need of some researcher to effectively present the complex result of literature review. To deal with this obstacle, a new tool named SLM (Systematic Literature Mapping) is proposed in this article in order to visually present the result of a complex literature review in the form of a decision tree that leads to an effective and efficient literature review process. The newly proposed model combines SLR (Systematic Literature Review), an established-well-known tool for literature review with a model named K-Chart. To verify the proposed model, a case study is discussed to accompany the example of the application of this new tool. The case study is finding the research opportunity of the application of big data in the industry.  The result shows that SLM is capable to serve its purpose in the process of literature review

AbstractUsing interviews with former militants and previously unpublished documents, this article traces the genesis and internal dynamics of the Ejército Revolucionario del Pueblo (People's Revolutionary Army, ERP) in El Salvador during the early years of its existence (1970–6). This period was marked by the inability of the ERP to maintain internal coherence or any consensus on revolutionary strategy, which led to a series of splits and internal fights over control of the organisation. The evidence marshalled in this case study sheds new light on the origins of the armed Salvadorean Left and thus contributes to a wider understanding of the processes of formation and internal dynamics of armed left-wing groups that emerged from the 1960s onwards in Latin America.
