In order to meet the demands for dextrous robotic limbs in such fields as the dangerous rescue, the disabled people assistance, and the industrial production line, we carry out the research about a robot upper limb which is composed of 6 DOFs and has the ability of finishing complex movements instead of a real upper limb. A virtual prototype of the robot upper limb is designed for analyzing the system comprehensively, and an optimal pneumatic balance design is studied for the sake of decreasing the output torque and the dimensions of the robot upper limb. Meanwhile, simulation experiments for the limb with pneumatic balance design and without pneumatic balance design have been finished, and the results showed that the performance of the limb with pneumatic balance design is better.

The importance of developing statistical tools in the manufacturing labor field starts from the daily struggle of industrial production processes against variability. The analysis of the measurement system aims to assess the variability associated with the measurement method used in the production process. Considering the instrument (Gage) and the operator that performs the measurement, in order to identify if it can be considered as acceptable. The objective of the research is to evaluate the reliability of the measurement system used in the production line of electronic locks through a Gage R&R study, to reduce the number of defective parts. The production line under evaluation is dedicated to the assembly and manufacture of electronic padlocks, has three inspection stations in which a repeatability and reproducibility study is carried out to obtain as a result the percentage of accuracy associated with the performance of the machine in the measurement system and personnel. The methodology or procedure to be followed for the development of the repeatability and reproducibility study will be carried out as mentioned by Pulido (2009), in the described steps of a short and long R&R study, from which the most relevant and applicable steps were taken. according to the characteristics of the present problem. The contribution of the study is the development of an analysis of the measurement system offers the company the outline of the current situation in a quantitative and qualitative way and allows it to provide a solid basis for the recognition of improvement opportunities that can help to decrease reported defects.

industrial assembly line development in the direction of automation and flexibility. Not only more and more automated machinery and more industrial manipulator into the production line. Manipulator instead of artificial heavy labor, realize mechanization, automation and flexibility production process. But in the process of production, first of all to the parts, then is all kinds of processing actions. So, will the application of automatic identification in combination with manipulator is very necessary. This paper introduces a can demonstrate the technology training equipment, from the development of the technology are integrated into the software are introduced. Hope that this technology can be widely used in industrial production.

It is well known that cam is one of essential parts in the industrial production line, and the design, processing, installment and maintenance of the cams is difficult. To realize the function of electronic cams, we use the FPGA processor and the servo electrical machinery system to substitute the original mechanical cam and many spare parts related. Application of the new system can simplify mechanism structure, enhance organization reliability, increase the control precision, promote cam flexibility and reduce processing cost.

This paper use the laser sensor to primary mapping the position of the artifacts. Then manipulator carry through accurately positioning on the artifacts by machine vision. Then the manipulator accurately capture the artifact by adjust error automatically. By using laser sensor and machine vision, the robot on industrial production line can more accurately positioning fetching artifacts and the requirements of industrial production line for precise localization of robot.
