This paper aiming at the zero-failure data and uncertain-decision problems exist in the information system reliability growth process, it proposes to build the Bayesian network topology of FMEA. It adopts Leaky Noisy-OR model, and it analyses the probability that the subsystem functional module will go wrong in quantity. It solves the problem of identifying the vague and incomplete information exists in the complex system rapidly and accurately, laying the foundation for further study of the reliability growth comprehensive ability assessment of system based on the Bayesian network. In this paper, on the background of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) engineering, aimed at research on models and evaluation methods of reliability growth for MES, enclosing reliability of MES task and design target, reliability growth test and analysis methods, it proposes the goal of MES reliability growth planning.

As concrete steps in order to realize the vision and mission of an organization or educational institution is to implement the system of academic information. The one factor that influences the success of the academic information system is the satisfaction of users.  The problems in the user satisfaction are also issues that cannot be denied and continue to be studied. In consequently, having measurements related to user satisfaction is required. This research is done to see how the user satisfaction of the existing system has been implemented and to know what factorshas influenced the system. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model whereas 255 respondents are chosen as the sample for the study. The purposive sampling technique is usedand the PLS-SEM approach with tools Smart PLS 3.0 is used for analyzing the data.  This research consists of 7 hypotheses and 8 variables, namely Content, Accuracy, Format, Timeliness, Ease of Use, System Reliability, System Speed and End-User Satisfaction. The research finds out that the current level of end-user satisfaction is in satisfied level. Inferentially, of the 7 hypotheses tested, 2 of them were rejected and the other 5; Accuracy, System Reliability, Timeliness, Content and System Spee;are accepted.Through this research, it is hoped that later it could be used as a practical consideration and theoretical study in thefuture.

Although a lot of information is available worldwide, getting the right piece of information is challenging. In addition, integrating information from different sources is still very complicated. To make the different information systems to interoperate, it is necessary to provide common knowledge structures. Ontologies have been developed for making the semantics of a domain explicit. However, using such formal structures is not straightforward and their benefits are not clear to the users. The work presented in this paper explores the use of an ontology for musical sound recordings in order to allow cataloguing and searching for such information. Therefore it investigates how the knowledge society can benefit from ontologies, with focus on the culture, more specifically the music domain. Some possible benefits and pitfalls are also described and a case study shows an evaluation of the proposed approach by users of this domain.

A brief failure of one item on the display of the information system (IS) on Flight AF 447 wrought havoc in the coordination between the pilots and the aircraft, leading to the loss of all 228 lives on board. In this essay, we ask the following question: How can the very instruments supposed to ensure our safety and make organizations more reliable lead a team to destruction? We propose that the imbrication of material and human agencies in such highly automated systems drives an attitude of “mindful indifference” (i.e., the capacity for experienced operators to distinguish problems that could turn into critical ones from problems that can be tolerated on account of the overall system reliability). An abrupt change in this imbrication provoked emotional distress and focused the pilots’ attention toward the machine, instead of triggering an organizational process of sensemaking. We highlight the role of leadership in such situations.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the conditions that characterize the current state of e-democracy as a tool of public administration in Ukraine. The domestic normative and legal support of the phenomenon of e-democracy, social peculiarities of regional use of e-democracy in public administration, the institutional composition of the subjects of introduction of e-democracy in the public administration have been considered. The periodization of the development of domestic e-democracy has been analyzed, which includes 4 periods: preparatory, formation of e-government mechanisms, creation of electronic information system, and implementation of information system. A thorough analysis of the legal framework of this area of research allowed establishing the spread of regulations on general issues of legitimizing the transparency of government and note that the focus of the legislator shifts to creating a legal basis for specific mechanisms of e-democracy. The existence of regional inequality in the implementation and use of e-democracy has been established. This inequality is caused by two aspects: technological, which manifests itself in the insufficient provision of certain regions with Internet coverage, and educational, which is expressed in the lack of digital literacy in certain categories of the population. It has been stated that regulatory and legal support for the implementation of the studied tool of public administration can be positively assessed: the phenomenon of e-democracy is enshrined in the legal field, regulatory algorithms for its individual mechanisms – e-services, e-petitions, e-government are provided and more. The institutional level of the implementation of e-democracy in the domestic public administration manifests itself in the interaction of government, public, business and independent non-governmental structures, including the European level. Such a diverse institutional composition, along with the adoption of various legislative and administrative measures, testifies to the positive transformational shifts of Ukrainian society, the process of its real transition to the state of information society – a knowledge society focused on meeting the needs of citizens.
