Summary Solutions of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) are the foundation of modern economic organizations in a knowledge economy. This is the case in particular in intelligent organizations, for which the advanced ICT infrastructure is the sine qua non condition for the effective knowledge management. This article is aimed at describing the role of modern ICT trends, which are described as SMAC, (Social, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud), and are becoming an essential ICT element supporting management processes. Such solutions enable to create new models of organization operations on the global markets using strategic resources, such as the knowledge supported with SMAC solutions. The arguments are illustrated with results of own research conducted by the author in 2014-2016 in selected SME’s from the Mazowieckie and Wielkopolskie rovinces and their reference to the general development trends in this area.

ICT (Information and Communication Technology ) is the mostly discussed and observed subject matter now a days. In the all round progress of an economy , this sector has a key role to play. An economy cannot thrive well with proper information and communication technology. In driving the development of financial inclusion and sustainable development the role played by information and communication technology , cannot be overlooked. This infrastructure plays a crucial role ,enhancing the technical progress and thereby total productivity of the economy. Moreover previous findings have also showed a positive correlation of ICT on economic growth. This paper studies the role of ICT by using a multiple regression analysis. We have used mainly secondary data to arrive a logical conclusion. It is expected that this paper will help the policy makers and the researchers in analyzing and understanding the importance of financial inclusiveness for economic development.

The study aims to identify social media's role in shaping university youth's attitudes towards the knowledge economy's requirements, and the study belongs to the descriptive studies. The study conducted a survey on a sample of 400 individual adolescents by using questionnaire form. The study concluded that social media has contributed to the development of the knowledge economy by being an important source for obtaining information about the knowledge economy, directly contributing to the formation of awareness among individuals, working to raise the level of knowledge economy culture among community members, and working on forming specific trends for the individual towards knowledge economy requirements. The most important participation mechanisms that it undertakes through social media to spread the requirements of the knowledge economy is to interact with pages interested in transmitting news of the knowledge economy, publishing pictures, posts or news related to the knowledge economy in society, commenting on issues related to the knowledge economy. The most important obstacles to the requirements of the knowledge economy through social media are represented in the following: the lack of mechanisms for developing knowledge behaviors among young people, the lack of awareness of the knowledge economy culture in action and content, the lack of proficiency in the use of information and communication technology, the violation of the intellectual property rights of knowledge, the destruction, destruction or theft of electronic websites.

This study examines the role of different knowledge economy com-ponents in economic growth as well as the simultaneous effects of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, education, and innovation on economic growth of selected Asian countries over the 1990–2014 period, using Driscoll-Kraay estima-tion method and seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) and three stage least squares (3SLS). The results confirm that there exists a positive association between economic growth and four components of the knowledge economy framework. Furthermore, there is also evidence of the multidimensional effects of ICT infrastructure, edu-cation, and innovation on economic growth. As a result, policy makers should pay more attention to improving innovation, educa-tion, information and communication infrastructure, and institu-tional regime systematically to achieve sustainable economic growth.

If we want to convert our rural population into knowledge driven, progressive, self sufficient, self reliant, sustainable society, the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT’s) cannot be ignored. Timely availability information is considered as most important factor in Indian agriculture. At present ICT is the technology of this millennium. Transferring the developed technology to all end users is time-consuming and tiresome task and is often not completed due to paucity of resources and lack of manpower. In India, agriculture and rural development has gained significantly from ICT due to its widespread extension and adoption. In this era of internet, ICT is committed to provide real, timely accurate authentic information to the farmers and rural peoples.

In the last few decades, Information Technology has transformed the entire world into a village, known as Global Village, as proposed by Marshal McLuhan. ICT has increased its influence in every field like the education sector, defense sector, technology etc. In the 21st century, information and communication technology (ICT) has become an important and integral part of most educational organizations throughout the world.. The use of ICT in classroom teaching and learning processes has become indispensable as it gives teachers and learners the opportunity to operate, store, control and retrieve data in addition to promoting self-regulated and active learning. (Ali, Haolader & Muhammad, 2013) Today we are dependent on technology and the role of ICT is increasing day by day and is believed to be a new normal. Keeping that in view, the present paper attempts to examine the relationship between information and communication technologies (ICT) and student learning. This conceptual paper  is based on secondary information collected from different sources such as books, journal articles, newspapers, reports of various government organizations, non-governmental organizations and soon.

This paper has explored the role of information and communication technology ICT in academia and as well as the strategies used in propagating the available services in an academic library this is because tailor made information it is highly required so as to avoid wasting the precious time of academicians and this can be only achieving with the help of information and communication technology software, therefore, descriptive method was adopted in the methodology of this study.

The Information and Communication Technology Master Plan—ICTMP—is an important tool for the achievement of the strategic business objectives of public and private organizations. In the public sector, these objectives are closely related to the provision of benefits to society. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) actions are present in all organizational processes and involves size-able budgets. The risks inherent in the planning of ICT actions need to be considered for ICT to add value to the business and to maximize the return on investment to the population. In this context, this work intends to examine the use of risk management processes in the development of ICTMPs in the Brazilian public sector.
