Methods for determining the coagulant concentration in the process of electrocoagulation are considered. An experimental laboratory setup for researching photometric analysis processes was created, the principle of which is on the determination of color and light intensity in real time. Based on spectrophotometric analysis an artificial neural network (ANN) has been developed to determine the coagulant concentration (Fe) in real time, which according to the obtained values of RGB converts to the color space of HSL, and then converts to the value of the concentration of Fe. Software for determining the concentration of iron in a coagulant using artificial intelligence has been developed, which is a web application that displays the color parameters of a coagulant, a certain concentration of iron in a coagulant, and also saves the history of all measurements to a database. While investigating ANN by various methods, an optimizer was matched for the respective process, the standard deviation (RMSE) is 6.91%.

Laboratories are essential facilities provided in professional institutes for scientific and technological work. The lab must ensure their accuracy to regulatory requirements and maintain their data records so that the laboratory environment can be monitored properly. The laboratory environment temperature (LET) is monitored to ensure proper regulation and maintenance of indoor conditions and also to correlate the collected samples with these conditions. The LET data collection must be stored to influence the quality of the results and to ensure the stability of the laboratory environment. Hence, an IoT solution is presented to supervise real-time temperature and is known as iRT. This method helps to monitor ambient object supervision in real time. It is composed of a hardware prototype to collect the temperature data and to use web application to provide the history of temperature evolution. The result gained from the study is promising, and it provides a significant contribution to IoT-based temperature monitoring systems.

Abstract This article presents a history of the origins and development of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (AMA Guides), from the publication of an article titled “A Guide to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment of the Extremities and Back” (1958) until a compendium of thirteen guides was published in book form in 1971. The most recent, sixth edition, appeared in 2008. Over time, the AMA Guides has been widely used by US states for workers’ compensation and also by the Federal Employees Compensation Act, the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, as well as by Canadian provinces and other jurisdictions around the world. In the United States, almost twenty states have developed some form of their own impairment rating system, but some have a narrow range and scope and advise evaluators to consult the AMA Guides for a final determination of permanent disability. An evaluator's impairment evaluation report should clearly document the rater's review of prior medical and treatment records, clinical evaluation, analysis of the findings, and a discussion of how the final impairment rating was calculated. The resulting report is the rating physician's expert testimony to help adjudicate the claim. A table shows the edition of the AMA Guides used in each state and the enabling statute/code, with comments.

Probity audit is an independence assessment activity to ensure the goods/services procurement processes have been implemented consistently appropriate with the principle of upholding integrity, uprightness, honesty and fulfill certain occur legislation aimed for improving the accountability for the use of public sector fund. Probity audit is done in real time simultaneously with the goods/services procurement process. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of the implementation of probity audit conducted by BPKP Headquarter as agency that initiated the implementation of probity audit in Indonesia compared with the Probity audit Guidelines for Procurement of Goods/Services as criteria. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of probity audit conducted by BPKP Headquarter has been implemented adequately, but there are activities that do not fit the criteria, especially in the activities of the determination of the scope of the audit, the preparation of working papers and the follow-up monitoring of the audit results. Probity audit merupakan kegiatan penilaian (independen) untuk memastikan bahwa proses pengadaan barang/jasa telah dilaksanakan secara konsisten sesuai dengan prinsip penegakan integritas, kebenaran, kejujuran dan memenuhi ketentuan perundangan yang berlaku yang bertujuan meningkatkan akuntabilitas penggunaan dana sektor publik. Probity audit dilakukan secara real time yaitu bersamaan dengan pelaksanaan pengadaan barang/jasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi kesesuaian pelaksanaan probity audit yang dilakukan oleh BPKP Pusat selaku instansi yang menginisiasi pelaksanaan probity audit di Indonesia dibandingkan dengan kriteria berupa Pedoman Probity audit Pengadaan Barang/Jasa Pemerintah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan probity audit yang dilakukan oleh BPKP Pusat sudah dilaksanakan secara memadai, namun masih terdapat hal yang belum sesuai dengan kriteria terutama dalam kegiatan penentuan ruang lingkup audit, penyusunan kertas kerja dan pemantauan terhadap tindak lanjut hasil audit.

The experimental laboratory-scale plant for the fatigue testing of samples with electrolytic coating were designed and constructed. Shows the kinematic scheme and considered the principle of the plant. The dependences for determination of test parameters and the method of testing samples with coatings under variable loads were obtained.
