ABSTRACT Objectives: Validate script and storyboard of a video for educational intervention on nursing care for the prevention and management of syphilis. Methods: Methodological design study, with quantitative analysis approach. The content and appearance of the educational video script and storyboard was validated by a committee of experts on the subject and video. They were considered validated from the agreement of 78%, calculated by means of the Content Validity Index. Results: There were suggestions, which were analyzed; and, where relevant, the script and storyboard were changed. The degree of agreement among the expert judges on the subject obtained a Content Validity Index (CVI) of 100%, while, with the technical experts in video, all the questions in the educational material obtained the percentage above the recommended minimum of 78%. Conclusion: The validated video is an important technological production and could be used in the context of health care.

Descritores: Cuidadores; Criança; HIV; Tecnologia; Educação em Saúde; Sorodiagnóstico da AIDS.ABSTRACT Objective: to construct an educational technology for caregivers of children with HIV / AIDS. ABSTRACT Objective: to validate an educational booklet for use on mobile devices on breastfeeding for family caregivers of newborns and infants. Method: a methodological research conducted from August 2017 to November 2018. Six stages were used to construct the booklet: search for themes based on literature review; theoretical study of the themes; booklet development; booklet validation by expert judges; booklet validation by the target audience; adequacy of educational material. Validation by expert judges took place via email and by the target audience at a rooming-in of a municipal hospital in Rio das Ostras, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Content Validity Index was used for validation. Results: the study obtained as a final result the construction and validation of an educational booklet entitled “Uncomplicating Breastfeeding”. The booklet was considered satisfactory, presenting an overall Content Validity Index among judges of 0.94 and among the target audience, of 0.98. However, all judges suggested improvements in the booklet, being considered and modified for the final version of the material, which will be made available on a link for mobile devices. Conclusion: the constructed educational booklet was validated for content and appearance by judges and the target audience, obtaining satisfactory indexes. It is an educational technology that can be used by health professionals and family caregivers of newborns and infants aiming at promoting breastfeeding and, consequently, reducing early weaning rates.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to build and validate three clinical simulation scenarios and report the application with candidates for the specialist’s degree in stomatherapy. Methods: methodological study, building three scenarios and evaluation checklists; content validation with judges, using content validity index and Modified Kappa Coefficient; pre-test and application. Results: scenarios built based on nursing care for: 1. insufficiency and venous ulcer; 2. demarcation of intestinal stomia; and 3. Clean intermittent catheterization. In the content validation of the 24 items appreciated, 83%, 80%, and 92% were validated without change. In the pre-test, the objectives and checklists were adjusted. In the application, to standardize the evaluation, actors and evaluators were trained previously, and each candidate passed the three stations. Conclusions: scenarios built and with validated content, based on evidence and covering the three areas of stomatherapy. The pre-test allowed for adjustments in the scenarios, and the candidates achieved the expected objectives.
